Cool.. was the Netherlands transit visa difficult to get since there is no visa to show for Barbados since tis visa free.

My final destination was Grenada and i already had a visa for Grenada. So when applying, I just printed the official page of Barbados immigration showing that Nigerians do not need visa into the country.

Thank yoi so much for this info. I really appreciate. I hope if i have upto 4000usd hope its enough and no qualms??... Thank u again for this..

Thank God I enter Nairaland this morning! Congrats on your move to Grenada. Please for your layover in( BGI) be very smart . Yes it's visa free but,,,,,,,,. If you're holding a Nigerian passport, the interrogation is always above board. I was quizzed for close to 3 hours at the airport even as I was coming from Toronto and will be going back to Toronto in 4 days time. Make sure you have enough funds with you and keep a clean slate.

As for the long layover, I will advise you remain at the airport. It's a small but a comfortable airport. To me I don't see any need going inside Bridgetown as that might increase the level of scrutiny again. Please be smart in Bridgetown! Good luck!

Hi everyone..pls i need some information on Barbados. I plan going to Grenada and my route is via KLM(Lagos to Barbados then to Grenada) I have secured a transit visa for netherland and i have grenada visa. The issue here is my Layover in Barbados is about 25hours. Will i be allowed that long in the airport??
Also i am thinking if it makes sense to just book a hotel in barbados to stay before my next flight since its visa free for Nigerians as 25 hrs i quite a long time. Will i be allowed into Barbados knowing i am staying only a short time?
I am fully vaccinated and i plan to do a PCR test.
Please let me know what my options are. I hold a Nigerian passport.

I currently stay in an apartment here in Bridgetown. $91 for 4 nights. You can check it out on Booking.com. The name is Spacious colonial. Very nice . Have a look.

Already applied yesterday, they didn't even ask me for visa fees shocked. Today I got email update of application status that they are processing my application for the transit visa. I called some airlines they said they no longer fly direct to Jamaica.

Hi, i hope you are okay. please can you give any update about the Canada transit visa? did u get it and how long did it take for it to be processed.
Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by virgoago4: 7:16pm On Jan 21, 2022
After contacting the visa office they told me a decision has been made. After plenty probing and email then i got this reply
..............................................

SITEL UPDATE
Dear customer

Thank you for your SITEL enquiry

Your visa application is still currently being processed. I have escalated this to the appropriate entry clearance officer. This means you will receive your visa decision and passport as soon as possible.

If you require your passport and/or documents back immediately for travel or emergency, you are free to withdraw by making a request via the Visits.UKCustomerEnquiries@fco.gov.uk email. Please note however that this will cancel the application and we will be unable to refund you. If your passport is currently in a red list country, please enquire with your VAC regarding possible temporarily withdrawal of your passport. Please note some red list VACs are currently closed, passports will not be able to be submitted or retrieved until the ban is lifted.

Kind Regards

UK VISA AND IMMIGRATION (UKVI)
......---------------------------------------------------

Please how can i ask for my passport without cancelling my application. Someone/anyone/everyone help. User needs his passport ASAP and confused.

I think you should check with the VAC where you did biometrics. They should have your passport.

Thanks for your response. i got to the VAC where I applied in Abuja and they told me my passport has not arrived. fast forward, i wrote back to ukvi to explain the meaning of my application has been closed and they replied to say it means a decision has been made.

My question, if decision has been made and i am yet to receive a refusal email does this mean good news in anticipation?

Hello All, I am new here. I have just been observing, reading and learning. Please how do I go about my situation.

I applied for a visitors visa to the UK, biometrics done 5th November. I got a NSF email a week later but they didn't ask for further documents. I am yet to get a reply from them. Fortunately in December I got an international job in the Caribbean and I accepted the offer and I have even gotten a clearance into the Caribbean. What is holding my trip is that I need a transit visa, either thru Europe, UK, US or Canada.

Now do I contact the UK embassy about my visitors application and also informing them of this new development?
Should I ask for my passport from the UK and apply for a transit via Europe? ( which I might get in about 5WD)
Any advice will be valuable. Thanks

PS
I was denied UK visa twice in 2010 as a student.
Though had travelled multiple times to Europe in from 2017 to 2019. This includes holidays and official trips.
