This move came after California Governor, Gavin Newsom, signed the bill into law on Monday, July 15, 2024.

When Peterson asked the owner of X about his motivation for speaking out on this issue, Musk shared a personal experience involving his child, Xavier...

Sports / Argentina Player Ratings Vs Costa Rica: Angel Di Maria Sparks Offensive Surge... by vittychibu: 1:40am On Mar 28
The halftime break likely felt uneasy in the Argentina locker room. At the halfway mark, the reigning world champions found themselves trailing against a spirited Costa Rica side. With Lionel Messi absent from the squad, observers wondered who would step up and lead the charge for a comeback.

Enter Angel Di Maria. A seasoned stalwart in this title-winning Argentina team, the veteran winger rose to the occasion, delivering a breathtaking free-kick that ignited his team's resurgence in Los Angeles.

Di Maria's sublime goal swung the momentum back in Argentina's favor, leveling the score and setting the stage for Alexis Mac Allister's decisive strike, followed by a drought-ending finish from substitute Lautaro Martinez, securing a hard-earned 3-1 victory...
- Walter Benitez (6/10): Unfortunate with Costa Rica's goal, as his initial save led to Manfred Ugalde's opportunistic strike.
- Nicolas Tagliafico (6/10): Came close to scoring but was denied by the crossbar, setting up Mac Allister's goal.

- Nicolas Otamendi (6/10): Contributed to Mac Allister's goal with an initial header but could have performed better defensively.
- Cristian Romero (7/10): Put in a solid shift, displaying composure on the ball and effective defensive work.....

That's a major problem with this country. The security operatives will not come when the incident is taking place. They will only come after the perpetrators have left and start arresting and harassing innocent ones.

It definitely won't sit well with the perpetrators, be ready to get arrested, imprisoned or killed.

Remember it's a revolutionary act!
Who will lead the revolution is the problem. Most people are afraid of death. What happened during ENDSARs protest is always a citation when we talk about revolutionary movement.

Crime / Patients Struggle With Hospital Sexual Harassment Amid Ignorance by vittychibu: 4:02am On Feb 04
AMARACHI OKEH writes about the low level of awareness of the rights of patients and how this puts females at risk of sexual harassment

Lola froze with shock on the examination bed in the consultation room when a male doctor who was examining her said, “See what you have done to me; you have made me ‘hard.’”

Not convinced that his 28-year-old patient heard him and unbothered about his action, the doctor pulled one of her hands towards his groin in a bid to make her touch his penis. Confused and wishing what was happening right before her eyes was not real, she swallowed saliva forming in her mouth as her heart raced.

Unable to bear the harassment and in a bid to avoid what looked could turn out to be rape, Lola jumped up and ran to the reception of the medical facility located in the Iyana Ipaja area of Lagos State.

In the waiting area crowded with medical workers and patients, she was unable to utter a word. As she tried to put herself together, she could feel the fear coursing through her body.

While on a bus on her way home that day, the tears she tried hard to hold back began to pour. She could only feel helpless, having trusted the medical workers at the facility she had been using for the past two years.

She wondered why things suddenly went wrong and why the male doctor who had treated her for the same ailment for two years suddenly wanted to make her his sexual prey.

She had assumed she was in safe hands especially because her father’s friend, who is a medical doctor, had referred them (she and her father) to the facility and the doctor had managed her case so well that she became comfortable with his services until 2021.
