Other networks (Glo and 9mobile)
For now, Glo and 9Mobile have not commenced sim linking with NIN. As soon as they commence, we will update this post to reflect the steps you must follow to carry out the linking.

However, to get yourself ready to be able to carry out the linking of your NIN with your phone number here’s what you must do:

Visit any NIMC office near you and apply for your National Identity Card if you haven’t
Register and obtain your temporary ID slip which will contain your NIN
Keep your NIN details in a safe place so that you’ll be able to provide them when necessary.
What if you forgot your NIN and don’t have the slip?
If you don’t know your NIN, just dial *346# on the SIM card you registered with the National Identity Management Centre (NIMC).

A message containing your NIN will be displayed, just copy it somewhere safe.

Note that checking your NIN via the USSD provided above costs N20 only.

Phones / MTN Nigeria Has Added 3 New Network Prefixes To Its Preexisting 10 by viution(m): 12:35am On Apr 03, 2020
MTN Nigeria has added 3 new network prefixes to its preexisting 10, which brings the tally to 13.

On the 11th of March, 2020, MTN Nigeria added the network prefixes, 0704, 07025, 07026 to its Network. The prefixes, which were formerly for visafone numbers were launched 3 years after the acquisition of visafone by MTN Nigeria.
As Number ranges get exhausted, new ones are unveiled. For instance, when “0803” and “0806” numbers got exhausted around 2009, MTN Nigeria unveiled the 0813 Numbering range

Therefore, with the emergence of the new network prefixes, potential subscribers can purchase their new MTN lines, and opt for which of the three prefixes they prefer.

For subscribers that are unsure of which Network Prefix is peculiar to MTN Nigeria, Geeky Nigeria has compiled a comprehensive list of their Network Prefixes.

MTN Nigeria’s Mobile Phone Network Prefixes

07025
The “07025” prefix was formerly associated with the now defunct Visafone. MTN Nigeria acquired Visafone in late December 2015.

07026
The prefix was for the defunct Visafone, which was acquired by MTN Nigeria.

0703
One of MTN Nigeria’s pioneering Network prefixes. It was launched in 2007, after they acquired the Unified Access license.

0704
A Network prefix formerly used by defunct Visafone, which MTN Nigeria acquired.

0706
One of the first network prefixes used by MTN. It was rolled in after “0803” and “0806”.

0803
MTN Nigeria started commercial operations via the 0803 prefix in 2001. It was the first to be used by the Network.

0806
The second network prefix used by MTN Nigeria after “0803”. It was launched in 2005.

0810
MTN Nigeria launched the “0810” prefix in 2011. According to their tweet, they did so to give more power to 50 Million Nigerians.

0813
The prefix was unveiled in 2009, after MTN Nigeria exhausted the “0803” and “0806” prefix.

0814
“0814” was introduced in December 2012.

0816
The prefix was launched in December 2009. That same year, MTN Nigeria was quoted to have secured approval from NCC for submarine cable landing station.

0903
MTN introduced this number prefix in 2013.

0906
The “0906” prefix was announced in 2017, 4 years after “0903” was unveiled.

Lol, I have nothing to say. Lol. I am however trying to upgrade my French. This semester, we have 2 weeks intensive French Class aside the Moday French classes (9-12pm every Monday). Also, the school is organizing an intensive 1 month summer French Class. I will enroll for this too.

I am very very bad with learning a new language.
That's nice. It's a good one. Please enrol in all. Ehen, now you're talking.
Seriously, I ain't giving up on you having mulatto children.
Most of us are bad learning new language. I fall in same league. But just try. It's worth it

Lol.

First, I have a white French Friend that I met one day in the kitchen (Which is the only place I meet people).

However, the notion about black guys from the French women's perspective (I think) is that we are only interested in using them to get "papers" or citizenship while having another woman in 9ja. I think this is why they become reserved except those what want big rod satisfaction. Also, the language is a very big barrier. It contributes about 90% of the problem.

Secondly, the closest group of people to make friends with are people from African countries. At least if you meet those from Ghana or Gambia, you will be sure to have a good conversation without having to use google translate.

Personally, I am not interested in any relationship especially emotional with anyone here. So what I desire is just the normal casual friendship.

Except if someone needs the energy of the thermal neutron in me which is about 200MeV. grin grin
grin cheesy Your last line got me cracking up real hard. It's alright. Now I understand. I am a silent follower of your thread. Your thread is lit. Your post and pics are wonderful. Thread like yours make nairaland worth the time. Keep it up,,, more grease to your elbow and success in your studies

Dear France,

Today is the worst Val. Experience ever. I am sending you this message with the strongest of words while also appealing to you that you should bless your boy with a loyal foreign Val, because body will begin turn to wood here. cheesy cheesy

My annoyance is that, I will see a girl (black) and I will be very convinced that this girl must come from Anambra, but when I approach her, she will speak concentrated French that will leave me wondering if the world is truly coming to an end. Where are my 9ja people.

You will see someone that looks like an Ibadan babe ooo, but the French she will be blowing is enough to remove your head warmer.

Today, I went out telling myself that I must get a good FWB, and this time, I am going for the black race. Unknown to me, that journey is a fruitless one because there are no many Nigerians in Nantes and the ones in Nantes are looking for white guys that will extend their stay here.

So let me deliver a judgement to myself

MrPhysics, with every signs around, it seems you will be celibate for 2 years , now go and concentrate on your books.

Must it be a black gurl? Why don't you like white gurlz?
