If only this cowards can for once swallow their cowardice and get back what by right belongs to them. What kind of confusing identity is this? How can you have a Yoruba name and still call yourself a northerner?
The same way Anioma towns have Igbo names, yet they are not located in the Southeast. I believe all those Anioma people with Edo sounding names in Igbanke such as Omorodion, Irabor, Edobor, Idabor, Ugbede, Ekhator should be referred to as Bini people, not so? How can someone like Nduka who has a surname like Irabor (i.e. Nduka Irabor) call himself an Igbo man? What about people who bear names like Omojafor, Odiakosa, Bioseh, who are from Delta-Igbo towns? Can't we call them Bini people, since their names do not sound Igbo? I mean how can you have an Edo or Bini name, and still call yourself, Igbo?

Look at the Ikwerres, the Ogbas, the Etches, or even those from Egbema in Rivers state that bear Amadi, Worgu etc., how can they say they are Igbo, when they are located in Rivers State?

Yes, the same way your home town in Anambra is part of Igbo land. Igbedor, Inoma, Odekpe, Owelle, Ukwala, Onugwa, Ode, Ala and Igbokeyi also belong to the Igbo! i am sure you will agree that Igala towns in Anambra belong squarely to the Igbo, no matter what they say.

The same way Asaba, Ogwashi-Uku, Ubulu-Unor, Agbor and other Anioma areas belong to the Bini people, not so? And Ebu and Inyelen communities, belong to the Igala, while Igbodu, Ukwu Nzu and Ubulubu also in Anioma area, belong to the Igala.

Politics / Re: Metering Of Customers Not Exclusive Right Of Discos – Fashola by Vivere: 3:51am On Aug 15, 2017
fyneguy:
This's no more an excuse.

The NERC with the other agency responsible for meter standardization should order DISCOS to install meters provided by consumers, in as much as it meets approved standard.

They should also publicize a list of all licensed vendors, for consumers to patronize.
oga, please leave that side. The DISCOs know all the local meter manufacturing companies, and where they are located. NERC has issued directives so tay, it has even lost its voice. It is in the interest of DISCOs to issue estimated bills. They make more money that way. I applied for a pre-paid meter 4 months ago. Till today, all I hear are stories from the DISCO!
Politics / Re: Metering Of Customers Not Exclusive Right Of Discos – Fashola by Vivere: 3:48am On Aug 15, 2017
fyneguy:
If this's the case, Discos should release details of meters compatible with their billing system and consumers can ask vendors to supply.

For instance, Community Development Associations can request vendors to supply their areas, while the DISCOS install.

NERC should facilitate this, as it's the first step to achieving stable power supply.
Which DISCO will install pre-paid meters sourced from another company for you? Don't you realise they make more money from estimated bills? Why would they spoil market for themselves??

So to you Akwa Ibom , Cross River, Bayelsa and Rivers which make up old Eastern region are landlocked

So to you riverports can't be built along River Niger if it is dredged

Didn't the good people of Akwa Ibom, Cross River and Bayelsa disown your people & its proposed new country, a short while ago? Ok, if you must lament because of the lack of a port, what about Onne seaport? Why can't you make use of that one? Or did your ancestor Eri forbid you from making use of your senses, too?

Can we get tech here

Start from page 1 of this thread, and read slowly through every single page until you get to this one......which is page 167. Got it? Through out the entire thread, you would find several manufacturing enterprises, FMCG firms, logistics outfits, Infotech firms, oil and gas companies etc., whose Yoruba owners can buy and sell you and your entire region, many times over. Now take a deep breath, and pray that God blesses your hustle, like He has done for them, so that you may make progress in life. Drop your bad attitude. Politics / Re: Let’s Use Biafra To Get Our Rights – Ohaneze by Vivere: 12:26pm On Jul 23, 2017
sarrki:
By Vincent Ujumadu ANAMBRA State chapter of pan Igbo socio-cultural organization, Ohaneze Ndigbo has said that instead of calling for a sovereign state of Biafra, the proponents of the current agitation should use their pro-Biafra stand as a platform to demand a better life for Ndigbo. Speaking in an interview in Awka, President of Ohaneze in the state, Chief Damian Okeke said the pro-Biafra agitators should be made to realize that Igbo leaders would not support any agitation that would lead to war. Consequently, he advised that they tread softly while expressing their anger over the happenings in Nigeria.

Read more at: http://www.vanguardngr.com/2017/07/lets-use-biafra-get-rights-ohaneze/
So this is their new strategy...... hmmnn
First, their son Kanu agitated for a new republic using hate speech & threats.
Secondly, he gets jailed and tries to win public sympathy.
Thirdly, he gets released, but his hate speech has already attracted the anger of the Northern youths, which has led to the Kaduna declaration. Fourth step, he back pedals on SOME of his previous utterances, and tries to cajole other tribes to join his new upcoming republic.
Fifth, the negative after-effects of his speech, are brought to his attention.
Sixth, his elders then sue for a tenuous peace and start canvassing for restructuring, after they realise the negative implications of the Kaduna declaration, and the harm it could cause their own people.
Seventh, they now want to use the initial demands made by Kanu as a platform to canvass for a better life for their people, instead of breaking away.

Truly, the journey of a thousand miles, start with one step. They have come back full circle, to where they started from, prior to Kanu's agitation. Even if they continue to eat their words, one by one, govt authorities should not allow them retrace their steps. They should help them plan their exit out of this country, as quickly as possible.

Politics / Re: Nigeria Public Universities Need To Be Thinking Outside Of The Box by Vivere: 11:36am On Jul 23, 2017
They also need to embark on business ventures and liaise with private firms, to commercialise their inventions. They need to also offer services to the public, at a commercial rate. What stops an architecture dept within a university, from offering their services to the public by helping them draft plans for homes and office complexes, for a fee? What stops a building dept in a university, from establishing a mini construction company, that can provide construction services to the public, at an agreed rate? It will allow students to have both academic and practical skills. And the university will earn income from such ventures.

OP what is the meaning of this thread

Gatherings
Igbo women like heavy gatherings, igba nku things, they would block the compound completely, kill big cows and drink enough oha soup to celebrate their friends who have just managed to hook another moneybag into matrimony, without having sense to investigate his background or source of wealth, for their benefit afterwards. e.g. wife of Evans the kidnapper. They must buy enough george materials and abada, to wear the double wrapper to their women's meetings, where they fine each other anyhow, for real and unreal actions, that make little or no sense.

The Women
Their women are so aggressive, that they beat up their husbands, in-laws, neighbours or anyone who crosses their path. But when their victims report them to the police, they run away, and hide at their backyards shouting "Chineke me!!! They hate me because I am Igbo."

Food
Igbo women are skillful in inoculating their kids with oha soups immediately after birth, most times, they turn the innocent child upside down, head strapped withing their fleshy thighs, nostrils blocked, and mouth wide open to inoculate oha into the infant while s/he gasp for the breath of life (this makes me cry cry cry cry)

Business
Igbo women have little business acumen, all they do is support their husbands or brothers in everything he does, no matter how evil and reprehensible it may be. They are good at prostitution, or hawking their bodies in all state capitals, and on the streets of Nigeria. To them, the end justifies the means, no matter how ungodly the means might be. Another way they do business is through the marriage lists their families give to their prospective bridegrooms. In some communities, the bridegroom must also build a house for his prospective father-in-law, before their marriage rites can be concluded.

NYASH
They can have uku for Africa, this is obviously the resultant effect of nkwobi inoculation. they have big big watery nyash unlike their other counterparts who have firm, thick, water melon hard, and onion curvy butts, Igbo own is always dirty and smelling undecided

Salutation
They salute with every happenings; Kedu, Ụtụtụ ọma, Ehihie ọma Ndewo, Mgbede ọma Ndewo, Kachi fo, I saala chi etc.

Mining
Dont even go there, they are nulli secundus (second to none) when it comes to baby factory, having female husbands, kidnapping, selling fake goods, and breeding children with strangers outside wedlock, to carry on their family name. Imo state their global HQ with its research and development annex at Mbaise recently inaugurated.

Igbo businesses on the other hand are actually fronts for crimes. One reason why their taxes are insignificant is because the money they make from their legitimate business is very little compared to their proceeds from crime.

Coscharis. - Money Laundering
Capital Oil. - Theft, fraud, subsidy scam
Arthur Eze. - Contract scam, bribing judges

I dare any Igbo poster here to mention a single notable Igbo businessman in Nigeria without criminal records.

DMT MOBILE AND PORTABLE TOILETS was conceived in 1992 when a young man, ISAAC DUROJAIYE a.k.a OTUNBA GADAFFI(SAN) mooted the idea of providing mobile toilets to serve outdoor events but this idea did not come into reality until 1996 when the first WAGON TOILET was manufactured locally. But in 1999 the company complemented its locally produced wagon toilets with about 30 plastic portable toilets imported from the UK. However, to fulfill a burning desire to localize production of the plastic toilets, the company acquired necessary technology, to start manufacturing high quality plastic mobile toilets in Nigeria in the year 2002. DMT MOBILE AND PORTABLE TOILETS are the pioneer mobile toilet company in Nigeria and at present the only manufacturer in the West African sub-region.

Erin wo! cry Sadly, Otunba Gadaffi Isaac Durojaiye Agbetusin,Vice Chairman of the DMT mobile toilets died on Tuesday 20th of March 2012 and was buried at Vaults and Garden Ikoyi,Lagos on Wednesday the 28th.

Otunba Isaac Durujaiye Agbetusin became popular during the hey days of Chief MKO Abiola, when he earned a job as his chief bodyguard. Before then,he had had a stint in the United Kingdom, where he studied graphics. Body building then earned him bodyguard jobs with heavy weight champion Frank Bruno and entertainer Eddy Murphy, before he returned to Nigeria. It was a few years ago that he started promoting the idea of DMT mobile toilet system, which became an instant hit all over Nigeria with patronage from all sides. http://www.nigerianbestforum.com/index.php?topic=158577.0 ; https://www.nigeriafilms.com/celebrity-gossips/108-special-report/15135-the-many-women-of-otunba-gadaffi

You must be a newcomer on this site, to have jumped to this conclusion. There is Lifebank owned by Temi Giwa, Mdaas owned by Oluwasogo Oni, Kangpe owned by Femi kuti, Redbank owned by
Tolu Adeyanju, Onemedical owned by Laolu Adeniyi, Wole Ralph, and Oladimeji Sofowora

These are all health startups trying to solve the challenges Nigeria is facing in the health sector via Technology. Bukky George is also not taking it slow with Healthplus pharmacies same with Joke Bakare of Medplus pharmacies. These 2 are the biggest retail pharmacy companies in Nigeria and not forgetting Adepeju Jaiyeoba of mother's delivery kit.....
Mopheth Pharmacy owned by Adekunle Michael Oyegade and his wife Odunola Oyegade, also have one of the fastest growing structured pharmacy outlets, of a high class standard. They have an optical services unit, including a mini mart incorporated into all their pharmaceutical stores, as well as a bi-monthly newsletter, Mosante, which is used to give valuable health information to their clients. Their outlets can be found in many cities nationwide, but their head office is in Lagos.

My dear. Yolobats Igbos have posted many pics but only few can be called 'products' in the intellectual or technological sense. Out of the few, many are NOT KNOWN to Nigerians. Their factories were not shown nor can i confirm that they are on yorubaland Igbo land. It is very easy to dig up pics but the igbo Yoruba pics were more convincing, and proved that they are original. Yoloba Igbo/Osu pics were shinny and well engineered. They looked like advert pics or pics taken to impress. They were not Production pics per say. So I cannot rate those unknown products especially the yorubamade Igbo-made laptop. I have never seen or heard of it anywhere in naija. Same goes for many lobbish yaribas Igbo posted. Go back and see the igbo Yoruba pics and compare them with the online virtual pics that yaribad Igbo/Osu posted. You would understand my point. And most importantly, the igbo Yoruba products were more industrial while the yoloba Yoruba pics were more service-like or corporate. wink The latter cannot really count as products. The most important knock out were the armoured tanks, G-wagon and the steel based products the igbos Yorubas posted and the yolobats Igbo still have no answer. Every other 'product' posted by the yolobats Igbo/Osu has the igbo Yoruba equivalent. Hence the resounding igbo Yoruba victory. Am sorry if you feel pained.
