Started battling with appetite issue since last year. I relocated to a foreign country where almost what they eat I can’t eat them. I mostly cook myself. I’m picky about what I eat I really don’t know why. I came back to Nigeria things change for a while. I fear it might be that I have some crazy disease I did all test I know it all came negative. Did HIV test as well twice and other std test. I mostly get feed up with less than 10 bite. I used to be a foodie until I traveled. I can go days without really eating good amount of food. I need to say that I bought a lot of drugs that was recommended to make me eat well such as (Orazine) instead what I mostly get is to get sleep and not get hungry.

It’s tiring and I’m loosing weight already.

If you are NOT going to live in the house.... if you plan to give it for rent... THEN PLS HOLD YOUR CASH BECAUSE IT MAY NOT BE PROFITABLE FOR 10 YEARS.... because there is NO Airbnb service in Ikorodu... so you would need to look for houses that can give you good profit in 5 years and that is from areas like KETU down to the island... meaning you will spend almost 50million o. As at 2020 I was invited to buy a house in ogudu estate for 35million... but that was distress sale and nothing is as cheap as that again.

I hope you understand.... IKORODU IS BEST FOR LAND INVESTMENTS... and LIVING IN.... not renting out, unless you live in your house but use the fence to do shops and rent them out... yes, you would get good money for little upkeep from there.

But for land.... you may buy several and choose the best one to give to MTN/GLO/AIRTEL Masts... on lease and they will pay you millions for it for a duration of 5-10 or more years. YES, I HAVE DONE THAT.... IT WORKS.

I have lived in Lagos all my life and the last place I lived in was IKORODU.... pls ignore what the first comment guy said... Ikorodu is the best PLACE for PEACE in Lagos if you are not a 9-5 person who has no car.... but if you have a car.... you will beat the traffic(there are many ways out of ikorodu and into ikorodu) AND YOU WILL GET TO YOUR DESTINATION IN TIME.

Listen, forget about the bridge, I have bought lands as cheap as 350k and as recent as 2020 in Ikorodu and sold in 2021 for 1.7m because it had already become an estate with big houses living there and good roads.... so the choice is yours... if you want to buy buildings, like completely new houses.... 9m to 16m can get you a decent fenced 3 bedroom WITHOUT BOREHOLE AND LIGHT.... yes, even in 2023 and with complete papers.

I am not a realtor but I own several properties in Ikorodu and Ajah, and by far I prefer ikorodu. I lived in Mushin, VGC, Surulere, Bariga, Ikeja... but I found quietness and peace in IKORODU.


So make your choice sir... and to confirm all I have said about prices, kindly use Jiji and check verified sellers of buildings and lands.

I’m in a foreign country, it’s almost 1year 6 months since I left Nigeria. Lately have been having this depressing spirit. I’m doing well for myself ( money isn’t really an issue). The problem started the week I announce my wedding date. Everyone just ghost me. I’m an introvert but not the extreme type. Most of my buddies are all over the place and we are not connecting much for some time now. I told my wife to be about the way I’m feeling. She almost cried. She said for a lion to come out and open up to me to tell me he is depressed I’m coming over there. I don’t want her to stress, she left here 2 months ago she have a lot on her plate already. ( she is a nurse and doesn’t really have much time to engage me in conversations unless on her day off.)
I have tried to turn things around but nothing is working. What I need to refill my energy and spirit is to visit Nigeria and be with family for some time. ( I can’t go home now until December, how do I cope till December? )
Right now nothing Interest me, I use to drink 3 bottles of beer but now I can’t do 2 bottle the second one will get to waste), Netflix doesn’t interest me anymore ( I’m a movie person) I hangout by myself but it’s always like I’m in a graveyard.
I started loosing weight I don’t eat anymore. I force myself to close my eyes and sleep these days.

I just believe that money doesn’t make you happy ( I can afford some basic things that I need, but I need people to gist with, hangout with. My phones stopped ringing. ( if my phone rings it’s my wife to be or my mom. I’m also getting nervous, when I finally get married is this how Buddies won’t vibes and hangout with me anymore ?

Hello people. I got a land, I want to build a room and parlor self contain for my mom on the new land I bought for her. My both parent are separated, my mom has been paying rent for years now. My dad own several property to his name while my mom a petty trader doesn’t have much to her name though she have some inheritance from her father ( she looked the other way as she is the eldest among her siblings ) As my mom first child I have always have it as a dream to build my mom a house before building mine.

Now I think I need help as it’s a new quest for me.
