bogolobango: Yes the notification only comes with names and not surname or middle name..the notification does not come with full name ..just ur names but since you use a middle name ..only ur name will be use to send notification but since you sure you fill all correctly .you fan id will have all your surname and names in full ....and do not confuse your fifa account u use to purchase ticket to fan id application ..fifa sending you update on ticket and another sms or email you get from fan id centre on your fan id delivery status are different..do not panic so far your surname and any other name are fill corectly you are okay! |
Travel / Re: Travelling To Russia For The 2018 World Cup Let’s Meet Here by wale4me: 7:55am On May 25, 2018 |
bogolobango: It actually not a problem, you will notice while applying for the fan id you have SURNAME,GIVEN NAMES AND MIDDLE NAME..while on the nigeria passport you have ..SURNAME AND GIVEN NAMES. Some people while filling the fan id choose to put there surname and all other name or names will be GIVEN NAMES and they click NO middle NAME while some like you fill there surname and names then the name at the centre of the given name on their passport as middle name but it all accepted so far you put all the names on ur passport on the application...and make sure all the name on your passport appear on the fan id with same spelling .your surname will be on the upper and follow by remaining names .that most important ..but next time while you filling a form anywhere in the world and you are ask to fill your name as it appear on your passport ..NIGERIA PASSPORT HAS NO MIDDLE NAME ..have a safe trip ahead 1 Like |

bogolobango: It should arrive abuja vfs within 10 to 15 days maximum but do not worry or Panic there have alternative provision by Russia stated on there website If you apply for a Fan-ID at a later stage in May or even June, they won’t send it over by postal service. Instead, you will receive an electronic version of the Fan-ID by email. You’ll have to print a copy of it which will be good enough to enter Russia visa-free. Then, once you are in Russia, you’ll be required to visit one of the Fan-ID distribution centers where you’ll get an actual Fan-ID. The distribution centers can be found in all of the host cities and they are listed Officially fifa is the only authorised seller of the world cup ticket and any other source are just reseller at higher price for greater profit |
Travel / Re: Travelling To Russia For The 2018 World Cup Let’s Meet Here by wale4me: 2:28pm On May 22, 2018 |
bogolobango: Yes, it not a barrier, you need your fan id to enter russia, and the world cup games is not about nationality , you have the right to decide which games you want to watch no matter your nationality for example many nigerian travel to russia for the confederation cup with a fan id last year but cameroon was the only africa country that qualified for the confederation cup . definitely be ready to pay more if you want to buy ticket when you arrive russia because it will be from other people planning to resell at a more higher price 1 Like |

dejia: Actually the curise boat are two type for the route ,one travel solely to finland overnigth and arrive helsinki finland by 8am and you spend the day in helsinki and you hsve to get back on board by 630pm if you paid for a return trip and the boat return to russia travelling over nigth and arrive next day or you have option of another curise boat that travel from russia to finland onward to stocklum sweden then to tallinn in estonia and it return to russia via finland but from kalimingard you can travel by bus to warsaw or talinn and other major city only if you have schegen visa and if you only aim is to visit russia ..you can actually travel by plane from any part of russia to kallnigard and there is a direct train from moscow to kallingard and it free if you book ahead specially for the world cup provided by the goverment and fastest way is by plane which you can also travel by plane from moscow or saint petersburg to kalingard it about 1 hr 40 minutes by plane and it cost about equvalient of 35usd if the prices do not change during the world cup so you do not need a schegen visa to go to kallingard by plane from any part of russia ,just fly to moscow or saint petersburg and use a connecting fligth to kalingard but if you have the interest to visit other european city then you need a schegen visa |

kolly4gunn: Insurance is not complusory but it good for you so i will suggest you get an insurance of ur choice and about accomdation you can try booking.com but hostel will be cheaper than hotel abd as a visitor you will spend less time indoor so you just need a simple place to lay ur head at nigth..food is cheap on the street ,burgerking ,macdold ,kfc and many other low cost eating places if you not going to the fancy cafe and resturant ,you will save money and enjoy your stay Nigerian citizens visiting FIFA World Cup (June 14 - July 15, 2018) are entitled to have visa-free multiple entries to the Russian Federation. prittygift114: If the person actually purchase the ticket in your name then you should have the ticket code number, each ticket is printed in your name so when you present your passport and the ticket code number at the ticket distrubtion centre am sure tbey will issue you the ticket if the person that created your profile listed you as the main applicant because under the current system is possible a person create a profile to purchase a tixket and additional ticket for friends and family(guest) for the same match if the ticket was purchase under this category then only the main applicant can pick up the ticket becasuse you are just his guest to the match |

dejia: You should sort the schegen visa issue before looking for other people in that area , actually getting a schegen visa for ur trip could be tricky because there are other alternative route without the need for passing the schegen zone ..and about renting a car to cross international boarder ,please note russia is a total sperate country from main european country they have a different custom rules so pleaae contact car hire company ahead to be sure you can hire a car to cross international boarder..and from saint peteersburg no need stressing yourself with the long driving because there is a curise boat connecting saint peterburg to helsinki and you will enjoy it ..it travel over nigth from saint petersburg and u arrive helsinki in the morning (https://stpeterline.com) and it has option of trip to stocklum capital of sweden ,tallinn estonia and it return to russia.....if you can get a multi entry visa it will be a nice trip on the boat and it cheap ..you pay the same amount for the room on the curise boat..either you two or 4 people planning to stay together and the boat has eveeything from gym to club swimming pool casino ,you have option of returning same day in the evening or you choose the round trip going further to sweden and estonia and the boat stay in thoes countries till evening so you have option to tour arround..and one more thing you could face some stict checking crossing from russia to europe it due to the fact many illegal immigrant including nigerians use that route so please be calm if you are faced with many questing so far all your documrnt are geniune you will be allowed to pass ..and you can also check https://luxexpress.eu/en it for bus travel too to russia too ,i do not live in helsinki but have travel there more than 10 times and 98% of finland citizen in helsinki speaks english and l often travel around the city centre and then to Hämeentie street where so many africa shop and most of thoes shops have africa event for the week but i hope somebody that actually live there will answer your question but you can also check online for more information because in finland most informatio are online in petersburg you have the state museum ,the winter palace ,and you can also take a day trip to moscow to see the famous red square please this is a faceless forum becareful about ur business tranction ..welcome to russia!! 4 Likes 1 Share |

kolly4gunn: Welcome to the city of white night where the sun never goes down From late May to early July nights are bright in St Petersburg, but the real White Nights normally last from June 11 to July 2. The nature of the White Nights (Beliye Nochi) can be explained by the geographical location of St. Petersburg. It is the world's most northern city in Russia. This essentially means that from mid-May to July, the sun Never sets here. Interesting!! 2 Likes |

peacenigeria: Can you please tell us how the immigration got ur sister telephone contact while in the USA and secondly for immigration to issue you a 10 year ban or send a letter to a bi/b2 visitor inside USA it sound extreme and uncommon practices..you have a right to go anywhere in the USA after passing the Poe ..you are a visitor and you movement are not restricted to a definite location.if you sister was refused entry based on the fact that she had no ticket to her presumed destination in the USA she could be refused entry but not after she passed the Poe and a letter being sent to an address ...but to be on a safer side every member should have a ticket to their final destination together with letter from the hospital showing cost of delivery with acomdation arrangement ..God bless us all |

estrellaycocina: Sir ,Your statement is not correct because In general, everyone born in Canada from 1947 or later acquires Canadian citizenship at BIRTH. In one 2008 case, a girl born to a Ugandan mother aboard a Northwest Airlines flight from Amsterdam to Boston was deemed a Canadian citizen for customs' purposes because she was born over Canada's airspace. The only exceptions concern children born to diplomats, where additional rules applies . |

Am applying for a VISA to visit the uk for my friend wedding but am having some techinical problem regarding this section of the form asking this question (Have you ever been deported‚ removed or otherwise required to leave any country including the UK? yes/ no) l was once issued a germany schegen visa but on arriving germany i was refused entity because the immigration officer felt i did not opposes a confirmed hotel booking despite showing all neccessary paper my visa was canceled but l know my visa was actually denial due to my nationality as a Nigerian first time traveler and i was denial entry and put on the next plane back home with my return ticket but on returning home l wrote a protect letter to the boarder guard headquarter condemning this racial act against me and a few week later l got a reply from the boarder guard commander that the case was invesgiated that l was actually deemed fit to enter germany because i have possessed all the neccessary requirment and the boarder guard investigating team contacted the hotel during the course of investigation and the hotel confirmed that l was actually booked PAID in the hotel for the duration of my stay in germany so the decision to denial me entry was revoked based on the invesitigation l contacted the Germany embassy with the letter from the boarder guard headquarter and l was issued a new visa so l travel to germany the following week and l was allowed entry and after spending a few days ,l return home without any problem and i have been issued an Italy schengen visa recently and l visited to Rome and also return to Nigeria after my visit .. but the former visa still showing canceled on my old passport because it was crossed with a blue pen ,i want to be careful when filling the uk application form becaue an error could lead to automatic ban of 10 year ...what should l do ....does my case mean a yes or no |
