Do nigerian men understand the concept of cause and effect when it comes to the bleaching epidemic in the nigerian diaspora/middle class. Nigerian women in the diaspora and in Nigeria wouldn't feel the need to lighten their skin if Nigerian men didn't put these same women who do lighten their skin or are naturally light skin like some igbos on a pedestal.

True but I think many Nigerian men are marrying foreigners for the wrong reasons. Ive known many Nigerian men who told me secretly that their sole goal of getting a medical degree is to date women of other races. For some reason Ive realised Nigerian men have adopted this mentality from African American men that their own queens cant compete with women from other parts of Africa, especially east african women and women from other parts of the world.
