Scholarships for First-Year Students
Clark Merit Scholarships
Clark University has several different merit- and achievement-based scholarships, outlined below. Every applicant to Clark will be considered for these scholarships. No separate application is required, except where noted.

Admitted students who have excelled in secondary school and whose academic achievement and personal qualities indicate they will perform at the highest level when they enroll at the University will be given top consideration for these awards. Decisions about which scholarship, if any, an admitted student will receive are based on academic qualifications as indicated in their application for admission, not on family need. Students who are awarded a merit-based scholarship will be notified of this when they receive their admissions decision. Approximately 60% of our students receive merit-based awards.

Students whose financial need is greater than the amount of the scholarship may be eligible for additional assistance through a combination of grants, loans and work-study. Information about need-based financial aid.

So today I sat back to reason where my life will head to after my Final exams tomorrow. I had many thoughts. Both good and bad!

Work work work!
My mind kept resounding. I quickly remembered a Nairalander that thought of suicide just because, there's no work to do after service since 2014.

I asked my mind a simple question; where do you think you can/will work?
Till now, no response!

I think I confused my state of mind.

Having tried many online and offline works and jobs, I still have hope that can only get active if only I maintain a good level of resiliency, persistency and hard work.

I won the battle!
I'm encouraged. Next minute, my phone beeped. A message from UBA, my own bank.
Could it be CR or DR alert? I thought aloud asking same mind I conquered.

I checked. My bank must be madt!
Very madt!
They reminded me of my networth. It's inhumane!

No wonder, depression increase daily in my neighborhood.
God will bless us one day. This, I know.

Don't be depressed bro. I sell online too and I get reasonable amount of orders daily. Your mistake is selling fashion items. I sell items that you can't get in the next store. Sell unique products. Spend more time doing product research.

Acidosis:
My input;

1. Clothes are among the least of items men buy online.

2. Cost of delivery on non-luxury and readily-available items have also contributed to the apathy. It may not be a rational idea to buy a clothe of N3500 and pay N1000 or more on delivery. While bulk buying may help mitigate rationality issues, bulk buyers are largely those with intent of reselling to individuals. Now considering (i) cost of your clothes, (ii) availability of branded alternatives, and (iii) the fact that your products are unbranded (I mean, you made them yourself), some buyers may lose interest.

4. Nevertheless, don't be discouraged. You only have to target the right consumers with the appropriate channel. If you're selling a shirt for N3500, then make it better than some of the photos I see in your previous thread. I mean, how do you upload a shirt with poor camera, one you didn't iron or package nicely, for N3500?

Your competitors have top-notch graphic designers and photographers that are ever willing to woo buyers. Some competitors don't wait for buyers, they visit offices, public places, etc. So a mix of online and traditional sales channels won't be a bad idea. If you don't have the right capital for a top-notch brand, then strictly focus on traditional sales channels. Trying to convince online buyers with a word-of-mouth approach is very conflicting.

In sum, I think there's a lot you can do to record better results.

Thank you very much. I think canvassing for customers will help me. Thanks.

NOTICE TO ALL GROUPS AND ITS MEMBERS EXISTING IN ALL SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS

Due to experiences that travellers usually have during their trip, it has come to our notice that the public is poorly informed about it and it ends up making the public engage in same experience.

We advice all travellers to share their experiences and reviews in the newly created website www.travelersgist.com. This will help the public to make good decision on:
1. Suitable Transport Company to use.
2. Direction and routes to follow or not to follow.
3. Transport prices.
And many more.

It is also advised that travellers should vote for the best Transport Company, using the poll in the website, to attain easy rating and ranking of the company.

Reports, information and suggestions from travellers should be posted freely on the site so as to save the lives, resources, businesses etc of other travellers.

This information is culled from the Ministry of Transportation and should be shared across all social media platforms.

Share this post as you have received and always visit www.travelersgist.com to give or get information that will benefit others.

Sorry op. There should be a way around this... Selling fashion items via paid ads isn't 100% recommended bro - this is because they're items people can walk into the nearest boutique, market to get for themselves.. They prefer offline shopping for wears than online ... Women even buy more of fashion items online than men....

What pictures are you using to run adverts? Don't tell me it's this picture you attached to tmyour post oo cus its quality is extremely low.

Did you try Instagram ads?

I haven't tried Instagram. Since Facebook frustrates my hustle , I'm at the verge of giving up.

How long have you been advertising? You must be consistent in anything you are doing. And why did you start with paid ads when you can do something like you just did to preserve your cash? There are many ways to advertise without spending your capital.

Lastly, is selling your clothes your passion? If your YES is EMPHATIC, then stay and be consistent, but if you are not sure of the ans, then quit. Do not do business base on sentiments.
Thanks. I always think selling online will be faster and easier.
I just believe that the business is lucrative, viewing from my location and demand. If at all I could get people who would constantly order for the shirts.

Hello NL!
I really don't know what else to do. I ventured into selling Designers Shirts online. Since I don't have a shop, I resorted in advertising the goods on social media platforms using a paid AD.

But I don't get any reasonable feedback. I've spent 30% of the Good's money running ads but yet nothing. I can't continue like this.

I call on to anyone who trades on clothes or likes wearing designers shirt, to help me in this business.

The material is of a good quality and the designs are very cool.
I sell one shirt for as low as N3,500.

I can send you pictures of the clothes if you are interested.
Thanks in anticipation!
