Politics / Ouk’s Nemesis: As His Mother Battles Bankruptcy And Abandonment by wogul: 2:01pm On Nov 19, 2012
• Tells mother, “the party is over”
• Berates Nnanna for his docility
• Begs to return to PDP
• Plans to install Mascot, Abia Gov 2015

Former Governor of Abia State, Orji Uzor Kalu can no longer contend with the overbearing and nagging attitude of his mother, Elder Mrs Eunice Uzor Kalu who he has described as unwanted distraction and annoying spendthrift. OUK has severally fingered her and Nnanna, his younger sibling; the former sleeping member of the House of Representatives as being responsible for his many woes.
The self – styled Odiuko, who is down with a chronic disease has had to complain to virtually all friends of OUK of her son’s attitude. Odiuko laments that she is left to her fate in their Abuja house alone while OUK and his siblings continue with their wild goose chase of taking over Abia politics.
OUK feels his mother is a victim of nemesis as the very many women she enslaved may be hunting her. Odiuko was known to have caused women to abandon their husbands to uproot yams for her; which they never tasted. The same women kept vigil for months processing melon which they ironically could not take even the smallest quantities to their families. Her inability to realize that the party is over for the Uzor kalus, according to OUK would remain her albatross.
Her many problems may also not be unconnected with her life of waste. OUK recollects that her mother pocketed Abia State while his tenure lasted and is having difficulty adjusting to normal life. Her very many properties in high brow areas of Abuja, according to OUK should be enough to take care of her.
A source disclosed that Odiuko spends huge amount of money daily on drugs and suffers untold grudges as her children have all deserted her. Nnanna appears the worst as he continues his sleeping attitude and not caring a bit how to salvage the mother’s challenges.
OUK is having the battle of his life as the door seems to have been closed perpetually on his renewed quest to return to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP). His businesses are at the risk of danger of precipice, with SLOK in Gambia feared shut down. OUK has gone into Gambia with his fraudulent nature, evading Tax for as long as four years and his inability to service his loans. OUK had hoped to service that debt until the bubble bust. The rest is now history!
OUK however continues with his wild goose chase of presenting Mascot Orji Uzor Kalu as Governor to Abians in 2015. How he hopes to achieve this impossible feat would be as strange as contending with his nagging mother who is fast going bankrupt.

Politics / We Will Only Reply Orji Uzor Kalu’s Mother by wogul: 7:34am On Oct 10, 2012
Ugochukwu Emezue

The Abia State Governor, Chief T.A. Orji has watched with interest the various reactions trailing Orji Uzor Kalu’s barrage of lies against the State Government and indeed the person of the Governor. Interestingly, he has been replied by persons who are not even in government or close to the governor. Many of them provided glaring evide
nces that should serve as food for thought for Orji Uzor if he still has any iota of the fear of God.

The Governor is not keen on responding to Orji Uzor because it would amount to responding to the wrong person. Those who had been Governor truly know that there is not hidden about the finances of a State especially as it concerns servicing of external debts. The State Government would not have made up those figures to discredit him.

Elder Mrs Eunice Uzor Kalu was the de facto Governor because while Orji Uzor Kalu pursued his private ‘okirika’ business with vigour, he left the day to day running of the State to his mother, the self – styled autocratic ODIUKO. It is therefore possible that Orji Uzor did not know how much was borrowed. Now, that he is awakened from his long slumber, he should ask his mother.

Governor T.A. Orji restates without mincing words that he inherited a debt burden of Twenty eight billion naira (N28b) which Abia State Government has since been servicing. The Governor is waiting for Mrs. Eunice Uzor Kalu to make a statement regarding the real position of debt burden. It is at that time that the Governor would give a more detailed reply. In the meantime, Orji Uzor should stop exposing his ignorance and keep minding his private business which he did for eight years he was ‘toddler Governor’.

As for asking for forgiveness, any human being should oblige the other forgiveness. However, since forgiveness is an entirely spiritual matter attached with some statutory obligations, it would be right to advice Orji Uzor Kalu to start by publicly renouncing OKIJA politics and may be seek God’s intervention for the very many atrocious and unprintable acts he committed as ‘toddler Governor’.

His claim of opening roads in Aba is already in the competent court of public opinion. History will vindicate the just, while God will punish the wicked.

Politics / That Ouk's Letter To Abians by wogul: 7:28am On Oct 10, 2012
He has refused to let sleeping dogs lie. The more he tries to pacify Abians whose collective psyches he bruised for eight years, the more he adds salt to injury. OUK has just written a letter to Abians denying leaving any debt and insistently claiming that while he was Governor, salaries were paid as at and when due.

Again, I want to present OUK to the competent court
of public opinion. For those who think it is foolhardy to dwell on the past, may I quickly remind them that a man who cannot ascertain where the rain started beating him would not know where it stopped.

I am compelled to believe what the Chief Press Secretary to the Abia State Government said about OUK. The CPS said without mincing words, that OUK did not have the faint idea of how monies were cornered and spent as his mother call the shots. The CPS told OUK that the Abia State Government will not respond to him as they can only talk to his mother who ran the government. OUK according to him minded his very many businesses and did not have time for the day – to – day running of the government. The implication is that OUK does not know a thing. As shameful as that seems, OUK has by the contents of his letter to Abians fueled the speculation that he was indeed a Governor in Diaspora.

It is pertinent I remind OUK a few things that would help shape his though in future. In the public opinion court, it is unpardonable to lie in defence. My reasons:

1. While OUK was Governor, hospital – patient relation was at its lowest ebb. It was in his administration that workers of ABSUTH were owed eleven months salaries that resulted in the death of many patients, workers and dependents of workers. While the workers sent a warning notice to government for a strike owing to non – payment of salaries, the tough ODIUKO told them to return the keys to the hospital to her. Gradually, that hospital was locked for months. When academic and clinic activities returned to the hospital, the then CMD spent about 1.6m to clean up the hospital as it had turned to a forest within those months.
2. College of Medicine ABSU almost lost their accreditation for incessant disruption of academic activities. History records that while OUK was governor, ABSU medical students spent an average of nine years for a six year course. These facts are verifiable. Ask medical students in ABSU between 1999 and 2007.
3. Ifeanyi Ikwechegh was OUK’s brother who he appointed Chairman of Aba North LGA. By the time Ikwechegh came, another of OUK’s stooge had left six months arrears of salaries. Ikwechegh, who ran the Council from OUK mother’s kitchen, compounded the woes of Council workers by extending months of unpaid salaries.
4. While OUK was Governor, Council workers in almost all the 17 LGAs were owed arrears of salaries
5. ASUU of Abia State University, Uturu had called out their members on weeks of strike to protest non – payment of salaries by the OUK government.

There is nothing wrong in OUK not doing anything while he was Governor. But, the repeated insulting of our intelligence by saying he developed infrastructure while he was Governor is not only morally unacceptable but empirically damaging. Which infrastructure?

Again, I am compelled to tell OUK that the ghost of his willful underdevelopment of Abia State is haunting him. He missed the golden opportunity of etching his name in gold. He is not making any head way with us by his lies. Again, I challenge him to say what he achieved as Governor. At the risk of repeating myself, I will quickly remind him that:

1. He bought new seats and re – roofed Aba Township stadium which he shamelessly renamed ENYIMBA INTERNATIONAL STADIUM
2. He refurbished Cemetry, Osusu and Umule Roads and they all collapsed after four months.
3. He lived in a rented government house for eight years
4. He employed public funds to finance his private businesses. If this is not true, what did he have that Abia State government lacked that he was able to run SUN NEWSPAPERS while NATIONAL AMBASSADOR belonging to Abia State Government was killed by him?

He said that he maintained peace and security while his administration lasted. Who introduced BAKASSI? OUK! It was the activities of Bakassi boys that desecrated Aba, reason the city has remained under the firm grip of familiar spirits.

OUK should consult with his mother before going to press. His mother seems to know more than he does, at least as it concerns Abia State between 1999 and 2007

Politics / Breaking News! Breaking News!! Igbo Presidency: 20 People Attend Ouk’s Call F by wogul: 6:39am On Oct 10, 2012
When OUK was spending billions of Abia Tax payers money to build his CAMP NEYA at Igbere, he had a dream that someday, he would have the clout to gather people that will fill the over 5,000 capacity halls and sit outs.

The former Abia State Governor was shocked as only a handful of Abians from his village a
ttended his call for people to support him become Igbo President in 2015. Not even a single stakeholder of Abia or Igbo origin attended.

It is obvious that Abians and indeed Igbos have used the event to inform OUK that he has neither the political disposition nor mroal justification to discuss Igbo cause as he squandered the goodwill lavishly given to him by Igbos of Abia extraction which include but not limited to:

1. Intentionally milking Abia State dry
2. Working in concert with his mother to render most Abia Youths useless through administration of fetish oaths in exchange for political power
3. Not building one single capital project as Governor
4. Gross disrespect for elders especially notable Igbo sons and daughters who he exiled from Abia

About twenty eioght persons, largely strangers were brought to the Igbere venue of the meeting in TOYOTA HIACE BUS from the airport and were quickly taken back to the airport after it was evident that OUK lacked the home base support he made them understand.

It is still surprising why OUK could attract only 20 persons to a project as large as convincing Igbos first to adopt him as their candidate for Igbo Presidency.

Has OUK lost every remaining of his political relevance? Who gave him the erroneous impression that Abians or Igbos would support him? How did he come to this sorry stage of an apparently bleak political career?

Politics / The Ngwa Agenda Of Frustrating And Sabotaging Govt. Projects In Abia by wogul: 6:30am On Oct 10, 2012
First, they collaborated with all manner of criminal elements in the ‘lucrative’ business of kidnapping. The colossal effect of that singular act is nothing compared to t
he devastation being supervised by the Boko Haram across the country. Aba’s best brains, professionals and craftsmen left the city in droves and vowed never to come back.

It is a fact that the Goodluck led Federal Govt has achieved verifiable results in the area of power generation and distribution, more than any other administration. Currently NDI NGWA are doing everything to ensure that Abians do not enjoy improved electricity generation as it is in other States. This is even when Abia has a 133KVA at Alaoji (unfortunately, and NGWA LAND) and Prof. Barth Nnaji’s Independent Power Project. They are reenacting their landmark features of greed, frustration and sabotage.

PHCN designed a programme to ensure that owners of properties that tend to obstruct high tension cables are compensated as such houses are demolished to make way for effective distribution of electricity. The end result is improved electricity supply.

Our NGWA brothers now besiege management of PHCN with fake land ownership documents or try to erect structures overnight to obstruct high tension cables. This is in a bid to be compensated. They like money that is not earned. They like wayo and can only service their relationship with you only when they are cheating you. They have combined these traits to deny Abia people of huge economic gains. Just to cushion the effects of these crazy bills, PHCN excludes Abia in their expansion projects. Just for the sake of a group, we are thrown into darkness.

Apart from unbridled quest for underserved compensation, they also take advantage of failed portions of federal roads in Abia State. They gather at night to make artificial ditches on highways. What they stand to gain is the selfish but damaging act of selling all manner of wares to motorists who must stop at such bad spots. These acts equally make way for gentlemen of the highway to have a bazaar.

What is this madness of sabotaging good policies? So, every house now is obstructing the high tension? Just when will these our brothers give up acts of mischief? Must we always suffer untold hardship because we are sandwiched in between lazy and pathologically greedy brothers? Let those they could listen to call their attention to the damage they are causing unsuspecting Abians.

For those who think Frankie James is an alarmist, let them contact management of PHCN to further authenticate the veracity of these allegations.

Politics / See What Ouk Has Been Reduced To? by wogul: 6:19am On Oct 10, 2012
• SOUTH EAST OHANEZE YOUTHS POISED TO RESIST HIM

I recollect advising him to remain quiet in his self appointed political exile. He would not listen. I also knew that in his usual characteristic manner, he
wanted to test his popularity. Having seen the torrents of abuses and rejections that followed his declaration of interest to be at the forefront of Igbo Presidency 2015, I also expected him to do the needful – a volte face. He went to Abia and disgraced himself. He has also shamelessly moved to Enugu where OHANEZE YOUTHS have dressed him in the right robe of abject rejection.

Now, OHANEZE and even children (see The Nation, Monday Oct. 8, 2012) under the aegis of IGBO YOUTHS are calling OUK to order. They have insisted that OUK does not deserve to be given the honor of representing the Igbos. They insisted that when he had the opportunity of using Abia State to proof how purposeful he could be as a leader, he only succeeded in selfishly enriching himself at the expense of the collective gains of Abians. They also said OUK is secretly working for a Northerner who would field him as a Vice – Presidential candidate, as he only intends to use the Igbo platform to achieve his usual selfish interest.

I am beginning to see myself as an adult who is supervising the she goat deliver on its tether. Bad as this is, I also need to voice out for the umpteenth time that OUK was (and still is) Abia’s greatest mistake; for laying the foundation of an underdeveloped Abia. As we are arranging our lives, he would do also a great favor by stopping further insult on our intelligence. It is only hat way that picking our pieces would be done without further hitch.

OUK has never worked for the collective good of Igbos. Showmanship is all he does. After that, he engages VIPs in fights to increase his notoriety rating. All his life, he has made more enemies for Igbos than friends. I stand to be corrected as the only thing that can counter this assertion is for him to highlight what he had been able (apart form ise okwu) to attract for Igbos. Let OUK leave us alone to organize ourselves using men of integrity whose views would be respected, whose values are attractive and those who would place service above self. We know his antics and would be too foolish to become second fools. There is no record of any good work while he was Governor of Abia State for eight years. He did not undertake even the minutest capital project and ended up impoverishing the State. Just how can a man who found Abia State too big to govern and too large for him to make any meaningful impact; now ask us to support him to rule Nigeria?

Politics / Abia: Group Cautions Politicians Against Violence by wogul: 10:50am On Jul 10, 2012
Sunday Okobi

An Igbo socio-cultural group in Lagos, Nzuko Isiala-Ngwa, has cautioned politicians in Isiala-Ngwa North and South Local Government Areas of Abia State to desist from visiting violence on people who hold political views different from theirs.

In a statement signed by the President and Vice-President Dr. Oluchi Ogwuma and Chief Alozie Jimonu respectively, and made available to THISDAY yesterday, the group said warning was at the backdrop of series of violence in the local government area, especially, the Easter incident where some people were brutalised.

The group condemned the act of political terrorism, saying: “People should be allowed to express their opinions and support for any aspirant of their choice without being coerced or intimidated into supporting any particular aspirant, as this is the hallmark of democracy.

“Nzuko Isiala-Ngwa also believes that political aspirations and offices in Isialangwa North and South local government areas should not be an exclusive preserve of any person or family and therefore warns against intimidation as this could spell doom for the people of these areas as no person or group of person has monopoly of violence.”

The group which is an amalgam of elite groups of Isiala-Ngwa North and South Local Government Areas indigenes resident in Lagos, called on the state governor, Chief Theodore Orji, to intervene by calling on the major actors in this orgy of violence to order.

“Nzuko has therefore called on His Excellency, Chief T.A. Orji, to, without any further procrastination, organise the local government election as it is the right thing to do.

“Moreover, the administration being the third tier of government is too important to be left in the hands of non-elected officials who are not accountable to the people,” the statement said.

Politics / Orji Moves To Boost Healthcare In Abia State. by wogul: 3:47pm On Jun 06, 2012
Abia state Government has said that its desire to embark on solid health projects was borne out of its passion to improve on health standards of the citizens, not minding the costs.
Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ugochukwu Emezue, stated this when he played host to members of Health Watch Initiative (HWI), a Non-Governmental organisation that focuses on health issues and development.
According to Mr Emezue, one of the Governor Orji's target before he quits office in 2015 is to ensure that every Abian has unhindered access to health care services.
He made it clear that from the onset, Governor Orji had carefully designed a health master plan for the state, which is gradually being implemented. Apart from the free medical services being enjoyed by the citizens of Abia, the state government has established a modern diagnostic centre in Aba and Umuahia, Emezue added.
He stated that the government of Abia state will soon commission the state ultra-modern dialysis centre, while efforts are on to build more health centres besides the 210 currently existing.
Mr Emezue hinted that Governor Orji will continue to focus on the welfare of doctors and other health workers in the state.
Leader of the HWI, Dr. Ayo Ladi, said they were in the state to critically assess the administration of Governor Orji in the sector.
He said he was impressed with what he saw especially the diagnostic centres, which he described as a solid legacy for the people of the state. The team used the opportunity to announce Governor T. A. Orji as the AMBASSADOR of the year.
The award will be conferred on the Governor in Abuja later this year.

Politics / National Institute Honours Gov. T. A. Orji by wogul: 2:55pm On Jun 06, 2012
The institute of National Security and Transformation Agenda, Abuja has presented a gold plague to Governor T. A. Orji of Abia state as the best performing and prudent governor.
Prince Lassan Baba, leader of fellows of the Institute who visited Governor Orji in Umuahia recently, said that Governor T. A. Orji was yet to be equalled in the area of security to the area of security. They commended Governor Orji for swiftly restoring security to the good people of Abia state at a time it seemed impossible that Abia would again have security. Lassan Baba while presenting the plague to Governor Orji contended that the governor is working silently.
"We came, we saw and we now believe. Abia was once a pariah state for either kidnapping or armed robbery, but Governor Orji has changed the face of the state for good.
Lassan Baba, who praised Governor Orji for the transformation going on in Abia state, said they got tired of inspecting projects in the state.
Some of the projects include : The Dialysis Centre at Aba Road in Umuahia, Hostels for corps members at the NYSC Orientation Camp at Umuanna Bende, High Court Building at Aba and Umuahia, Auditorium at Abia state Teaching Hospital, Aba, over 50 buildings under construction, 210 health centres, the International Conference Centre, the Ubani Ibeku International market, the Industrial market along Ikot Ekpene road in Umuahia, several classroom blocks, etc.
Reacting, Chief Orji thanked the team for appreciating his modest but monumental achievements, contending that every leader must strive to serve God and humanity by rendering quality service to his people.
Governor Orji, who described the Boko Haram menace as a battle of intelligence, used the occasion to call on all Nigerians to work hard to sustain the unity of our country.
In a vote of thanks, Olushina Ajayi, Chairman of the Syndicate wished the governor well and said Abians were indeed very lucky to have as their governor, a man who is more interested in putting infrastructure in place for his people instead of self-acquisition of wealth.

The Governor of Abia State have just signed an MOU with Globim Monorail of Canada for Monorail system in Aba and Umuahia. There is massive hope for us in Abia so I urge Abians to give their unalloyed support to the governor to make him reveal what he has in stock for Abia state.

Politics / Gov. Orji Condoles With Rashidi Yekini Family by wogul: 12:09pm On May 07, 2012
BY ANAYO OKOLI. Umuahia

THE Governor of Abia State, Chief Theodore Orji has condoled with the family of ace footballer late Rashidi Yekini over the death of the prolific footballer.

Rashidi Yekini died last Friday after suffering from protracted depression and was buried Saturday in his home Ira in Kwara state.

Governor Orji in condolence message described the footballer’s death as “shocking”.

Orji who spoke through his Chief Press Secretary, Ugochukwu Emezue, noted that late Rashidi Yekini was one of the finest footballers ever produced by this country.

According to him Nigeria will never have another Yekini “whose
dexterity on the field of play and the ability to score goals from impossible angles remained an enigma”.

Going down memory lane, Governor Orji recalled with nostalgia how Rashidi Yekini broke the world record by being the first Nigerian to score in the World Cup for the Super Eagles in their maiden outing at the world football stage against Bulgaria in the United State of America in 1994.

Politics / Governor Rochas Okorocha Is A Comedian by wogul: 10:32am On May 03, 2012
Tony Opara:

The Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha is a comedian and has become the Chief Comedian of the state. The unfortunate thing is that he is making the state a laughing stock of the national and international community. Imagine addressing the President of Kosovo in igbo language because the President spoke in his native albanian language. Imo people are highly educated and Okorocha should stop embarrassing the state.

Politics / Rochas Okorocha The Governor Of Imo State Ate His Lunch By Wrestling Power Out O by wogul: 11:12pm On Apr 22, 2012
I read a Sun Newspaper article written by Godson Offoaro were he said that Rochas Okorocha the Governor of Imo State ate his lunch by wrestling power out of the hands of Ikedi Ohakim. I 'do bale' at Offoaro's style of trying to get another lunch pack, this time from the Prophet of Rescue, the man with shinning white buba and red cap by speaking sweet talks and shouting 'Ranka dede'. With the confidence of his gift of the pen, Godson Offoaro with the spirit of 'any government in power' invoked the highest hypocrisy by trumpeting and advertising sham accomplishments of the Imo State Governor. One of Okorocha's accomplishments according to the gospel of Offoaro is the tarring of roads. Missing in his claims is the poor quality of the roads that Okorocha has tarred.
Offoaro failed to tell us that our Governor poured 'coal tar' on sand to give the appearance that roads have been tarred. He failed to tell us that Imo State has a proper way of awarding contracts such that it must take a tender board to put up adverts for contractors to apply. He failed to tell us that Okorocha did not follow due process of putting up invitation for tender in awarding the so called road contracts. He failed to tell us that contractors were not invited, screened or shortlisted for the road contracts. He failed to tell us that the contracts were awarded to friends and relatives as their own share of Imo State cake .
Going against the law in other to compensate friends and relatives will end up inflicting more harm than good to the scheme and system of things. Why must we be pouring 'coal tar' on sand in Owerri when the rural areas where over 90 percent of 'Imolites' are living are not accessible? .It is only a professional sycophant that will feel duty bound to cheer a Governor to failure because of a lunch pack. Reading Offoaro , you will think that there were no roads and services before Okorocha came to power. We all know that Okorocha is currently battling to resuscitate his dwindling popularity. We all know that he has contracted many Spin Doctors to build fake mass support for his deceitful activities. But no amount of spin from his Spin Doctors will disguise the fact that he has not performed well so far.
Can the Spin Doctors erase the fact that Okorocha is looting our LGA funds? Okorocha sacked democratically elected LGA Chairmen and Councillors and appointed Sole Administrators for our LGA's. The Sole Administrators are his agents for diverting our LGA funds for his personal use. Today, the Councils in Imo State are dysfunctional. Nothing is happening in over 90 percent of Imo State Councils. Our LGA funds are held hostage and we are deprived the opportunity to function democratically. Instead of conducting Council election in Imo State our Governor says he is into LGA reforms and that our LGA's will soon be called Committee of Government Councils where each Council in Imo will be headed by a Traditional Ruler and members will be LGA Sole Administrators,Town Union Presidents,Women Leaders and Youth Leaders .
Okorocha's praise singers should please tell him that we don't need his unconstitutional Committee of Government Councils. We need LGA election in Imo State. They should tell him to stop looting our LGA funds. He must hands off Council funds so that our Councils can begin to thrive as expected. Unless our LGA's are free to govern self, we have no grassroots democracy. We must permit the LGA's to elect their own leaders, who in turn can embark on developing their areas. We must stop denying the people governance at the third tier.
Only a professional sycophant will sing the praise of a Governor whose policies have been changing like the British weather. Okorocha has made so many promises that he did not fulfil. For example,he promised to pay 20,000 naira minimum wage to Imo State Civil Servants instead of the Federal Government approved 18,000 naira. He has since failed to pay the 20,000 naira minimum wage.During one of his showmanship events in Owerri recently, Okorocha with his gift of gab spoke to Civil Servants of the State telling them that Civil Servants in the State can beat their chest that their salaries come to them by 25th of every month and their 20,000 naira minimum wage has been paid,The Governor was interrupted with shouts of No! It is a lie! The Civil Servants shout Rochas down for telling lies yet professional sycophant are praising him.
Only a professional sycophant will sing the praise of a Governor who has crippled all Ministries, Department and Agencies of government in the State by starving them of funds. Okorocha directed all Ministries in the State to generate money to run their Ministries themselves which has resulted to over taxing of Imo people. Okorocha's government now churns out multiple taxation and harsh levies on Imo citizens using indecent task forces and unethical conducts. The question is whether the Ministries can really fund themselves. LGA's cannot even generate enough revenues to run their affairs not to talk of Ministries. What is happening to the allocation of the State? Who is looting what?
Only a professional sycophant will sing the praise of a Governor who since he came into office has not being able to create jobs for Imo youths rather he sacked 10,000 Imo State graduates in the State Civil Service. Okorocha has no reason to sack the workers other than he is anti-people and anti-workers .When decisions made and actions taken directly deflates job creation, the result is always more problems for the citizens .Imo State is regarded as the 5th richest state in Nigeria and it is not difficult to pay salaries to the 10,000. Tell me why we can't help these poor youths.
The same man who told us that Imo will have problems in paying salaries to the sacked 10,000 workers is the same man that is now boasting everywhere that Imo State has money and went ahead to declare free education for tertiary schools in Imo state. Governing Imo State is not Rochas Foundation, neither is it Baba Sala's nkwobi and pepper soup joint were we dish out alms to the poor. Promising free education to Imo tertiary students is playing to the gallery. Free education for Imo tertiary students as announced by Okorocha few days ago is another Nollywood drama. It is another deceit. I say so because Okorocha will never sustain the free education for tertiary schools. He knows that sustaining the free education policy in tertiary schools in Imo State will make Imo to run into difficult financial circumstances. What Okorocha should have done is to reduce tuition fees. The Governor is responsible for the State's fiscal health, and cannot afford to run negative balances. He must restore taxpayers' confidence that their naira are being used wisely and in the best interests of all people. He should be honest to the people and stop playing to the gallery.
The professional sycophants should tell Okorocha to sack his present cabinet if he wants to succeed. The fact of the matter is that Okorocha's cabinet which is his toolbox has unfit tools in it and he needs better tools. His unfit tools are the cause of his administration's political missteps. He should do away with the unfit tools in his toolbox and get better ones. Some of those in his cabinet are spent forces. They have no ideas on how to lift the state to an enviable height. I am of the view that his cabinet is overdue for a shake-up. Sacking his cabinet has become very imperative in order to inject fresh blood that will correct all his administrative missteps.
What is the Commissioner that collected 5 million naira bribe from his classmate as reported in the media still doing in government. What about the Commissioner that was slapped by a sex hawker at a high flying night club in Owerri. What about those that advised Okorocha to relocate IMSU sited in Owerri to of all places,Ogboko his village in Orlu zone.Okorocha should surround himself with people with sound ideas of how to put 'Imolites' into jobs; people who have the passion and capacity to develop the state; people who can look him in the face and challenge him on the workability of the state, people that will remind him that the sycophants around him will not remember him beyond the present if he does not leave behind concrete and credible achievements.

LOVETH SILVER UDE REPORTS: Hmm. I was minding my business today when an Imolite reached out to me via messenger. Her first line was … “Your Uncle was booed today at the Secretariat“. “Uncle” ofcourse being Governor Rochas Okorocha. LWKMD. You people should free me abeg!
Anyway, so back to the gist. She goes to spill details of the Governor’s ordeal in the hands of unhappy civil servants at the Secretariat today. Not sure how many of you read the last Press Release from the Government House where Gov.Okorocha explained the need to redeploy workers to the rural areas. It was at that meeting that all hell broke loose. The whole place erupted in loud booing. .
In her own words :

“The (edited) man said he wants to downsize ministries. That each ministry should have just 100 staff. Government House 100 and very big ministries maybe 200….. so he went there to address them and he was booed close to tears. My husband was there live. He said shame leave Rochas catch am.

She continued….

That news made my day smiley ! Atleast, his mesmerizing jazz don dey wear off. Nne m, I no fit happy. No sympathy for him. They said he couldn’t even address them again because the booing was “one in town“. He left there and went and cancelled all other appointments. Went straight to the airport and off to Abuja.

Then she ends the transmission with….

“Onwebeghi ihe ohuru! Ugbua ka wu ututu ya!
