Hello people, I promised to tell you guys my story this monday....so here I am, so if you guys remember last I was denied an interview with the embassy, reason being short visa processing time before my deadline, so I went home and wrote my school with little faith to them extending my deadline, I had already started making arrangements to apply next year summer. But alas the next day being tuesday I got a mail from the faculty telling me that I have been given another extension until december 1st, I was marvelled so I immediatelly worte the embassy and the next morning rushed to the embassy, as I was speaking with one of the security men I got a mail on my blackberry checked it and it was another appointment date for today. So I went home and to God be the glory, I am done right now with my interview which I must say went well, the german old lady was pleasant and was smiling with me all the while as she called me a daddys boy .. Not knowing that am a kpako pickin, she told me that my application is being forwarded and that I would get a reply from them soon. So this is my waiting period, and I pray my lord that started this good work will complete it.. Amen goodluck to all of us still waiting.. Thanks peeps..

Bro the reason why we are asked to certify documents is so that the school will have a certified true (photo)copy of your credentials, so you must have to send via mail(courier) not email oooo a certified/notarized (photo)copy of your documents. So NO you don't scan, but mail via courier to uni-assist or your school if its has been requested of you to do.

For peeps looking for courses in germany, ever wonder why not everyone ask this question about finding courses of study?? To find your course is as easy as drinking ijebu garri( for me sha )
Lecture 1: type in www.daad.de in your browser when it opens
Lecture 2: look for study and research in germany, select this option, when it opens go to study programmes and click international programmes when this opens
Lecture 3: under keyword type in a word that best describes your course eg: I usually type in environment because am always looking for course like environmental management and assessment. Choose other options to narrow your search down eg; when you click more you'd see options for the semester you'd wanna apply to eg; summer or winter or for both summer and winter, for peeps searching for summer programmes click on summer.
Lecture 4: play with this site to see more courses. Things to know; you should at least know the department that your course might be located under or faculty and things like that, select these options to narrow your search goodluck, if this doesn't help you... Then maybe germans haven't heard of the course you wanna do ... GOODLUCK fellows I don tire, make I collect alomo use regain strength

Guten morgen peeps, how are all of you doing today? Its a wonderful day aint it? Well am here with my experience at the embassy yesterday, went for my interview got there around 6:05 am waited till I was screened and let into the gate, but they couldn't interview me, reason being that my visa cannot be processed on time to meet up with my deadline...well I sadly went home. But still keeping my head up av already found universities I will apply to for the summer semester. Thanks peeps for all your help, the strugle continues, God will definitely see us through

They'd be referring to what u studied in ur Bsc and what u intend to study in ur Msc. When u are asked core subjects, they are referring to the different subjects that make up the program u are going to study. You'd also get questions like "course structure, schedule, course description... Etc" just be informed, confident, and smart.. Just keep talking... Goodluck

11)After admission by my school what next?

Book your visa appointment,atleast one month and a week in advance,to set up ur block account.

Take your admission letter to the embassy open your block accout.after the account is open transfer the sum of 8040 euro to your deutche bank account.

12)How will i transfer the money?

Walk into any commercial bank (i recommend gtb and fbn)open an euro dommiciliary account,convert all ur naira to euro(take the malam into the bank,dont take ur money to there office)make sure the euro has being paid into your account before giving them your naira.

13)After 2 to 3 days ur will recieve confirmation for payment from deutsch bank.

14)On the interview date,get to the embassy very early,even before ur appointment time.germans dont joke with appointment/time.no oga abeg sir oooh.please prepare very well.

15)What are the likely interview question?

What are you going to do in germany,your course,program structure,school location(state and city),why germany,countries that has boarder with germany,what do you know about germany,why that course,finance,informantion about your sponsor,ur plan after your studies etc.

After interview u will be told,your file will be sent to foriegners office.they will let u know the outcome soon.

It takes between 2-6 weeks for the visa depending on the location of the school.
