bentben:
So I will try to be as brief as possible, because story is very long.

Started having an affair with this close friend of my wife who now happens to be my colleague in the office now... I helped her got the job before we started having se. X. I have been her target, Infact that was why she came so close to my wife, I'm introverted, so that was the only way she could get close.

Yes she's not happy in her marriage, because her husband is promiscuous and don't give her attention . She used me to ease her pain. I consented to the affair because I kind of felt I was assisting her ease the pain in the marriage... I was totally wrong... I goofed, along the line we fell in love with each other... Deeply in love, even  we knew what we were doing was wrong.

Every fuc, king persons in my neighbourhood and office feels I'm straff1ng her, but we were never caught in the act.
The more I try to resist and stop this whole affair, the more the bond, considering we work in same office space.

She wants more attention than I give to my wife her supposedly friend .. She flares up most time when I pick my wife's call... Forgetting we are close family friends and can easily be caught.
She steal kisses whenever she visits, not minding my wife is in the kitchen.
We both have kids... That are friends.

NOW THE BIG ISSUE :

Because of the less attention she's getting from me, considering the fact that I want to play safe, she has decided to start straff1ng our boss who seems to be giving her the whole attention as it seems now.

Our boss his a nice handsome guy.

Myself and our boss are very close Pal, he knew I'm so close to her but choose to get is own pound of the flesh... Even though he claim he wasn't... But I was privileged to hack and  read their chat and got knowledge of their sexcapade...

She still wants an affair with me, she's fuc. k1ng  sleeping with two married people in an office.
I found this very hurtful, shameful, disgraceful and disgusting... Even though what I'm also doing is terrible...
I'm trying to heal and stop this whole affair... I took some days off work to clear my head already.

I'm deeply hurt by her actions, blocked her on all social media handles.

I need matured advice please on how to scale through all this without going back to my vomit looking that we work in same office space and I got to see her every other day.

This story is no fiction... Pls bash me, but don't forget to drop a word of advice for me and probably her.

I'm using a new moniker... I have been an active nairalander... I want to hide my shame.. kindly also ignore my typo... It was done on my phone.

Thank you.

MOD will appreciate if it can get to FP plsssssss.

Bro, I once was in your shoe, and I had to take a decision to save my life and family, by moving out. You either quit that job or request for a transfer or even change of office. Mine was a neighbor, married just like me. It went to the extend that we were virtually hooked with each other. The last time, I could remember was right in her shop, and it wasn't up to 15 or 20 minutes there about, her husband came in. But seen a neighbor around, he did not suspect anything. Since then, both the guilt feelings, and fear of been caught, I had to advice myself. I quietly moved my family and cut off every form of communication. Sometimes, you could reminiscence those scene in your mind, but bro, its a dangerous game to play.
In a nutshell, my advice is either quit the job, or seek for a transfer. Then try and reduce your communication with her. Wetin dey sweet dey kill ó

Should this be true then it's obvious some parents have failed in the most fundamental aspect of parenting. There's a significant increase in the number of paedophiles and incest sex and believe me it's not funny and this student will grow up into something worse if nothing is done urgently to rewire his thinking. A teacher is like a parent and which child would be sexually attracted to his parents.

Good morning nairaland
When I was growing up, my teacher use to handle my abuna. She was the first woman I layed with and until now, I cringe each time I remember the experience.

I can’t assume what their intentions are but I can only judge by their actions.

Begging and crying for 2NB to link them with the SW is not an action of people that want to go.

Spending over 350 days in a year with people they want to severe relationships with is not an action of people that want to go.

Crying and threatening to report Arewa people to the UN when they were asked to leave their region is not action of people that want to go away.

Biafra cry is nothing but politics of arm-twisting and it will never work
Please, can you stop this nonsense? Second Niger Bridge does not in any way link us to any Yoruba enclave, but to Asaba, another Igbo city. Get your facts right and stop misinforming the public.

Here's where true diplomacy should employed. Diplomacy to be tact and pragmatic about your mission. Devoid of threats, malady, malignment and toxic vituperations.
Biafrans are not seeking the needed support for their quest in as all their aspirations to Biafra niched from an established and recognised political contraption called Nigeria is not a parallel decision that can be taken by only the igbos. I bet nobody really wants to be tethered to a toxic partner forever.

Igbos should play the Biafran card politically without tribal or religious bigotry.

Also they should come to terms with the civil war episode as over for their own sake.

God bless Nigeria.
We did that long ago. We are practical minded people, if not, we will not be all over Nigeria doing business.
The Igboman of today is only but reacting to years of injustice. You treated our fathers with contempt and death; and still extending same to us.
The lagoon threat by one of your Oba, against a people, free by constitution, to exercise their electoral right, is just one example, among many.
The truth is like one, poster, rightly stated, you hate us for nothing, and that we have realized. You don't have any reason hating, but you just do.
No matter what the Igboman does, you must find fault.
The solution, still remain a separate sovereign state, which will definitely come according to time.

Sir/ Ma
Peace is conditional.
Peace is mutually accepted conviviality.
Can the igbos make peace with the rest of us, have they genuinely tried to make peace ever? Presently are they making peace

How do you live in peace with somebody that want your relationship with them in pieces. Please tell me, how?
Since we are not in pieces yet, we cant have peace as they want, so there's no peace.

I am a Nigerian and I love other peace loving Nigerians which includes igbos, the biafrans I have no love for as they have no love for me to love them for us.
What has the Igboman done that can be compared to what Fulani herdsmen are doing today? Yet, you cowards cannot show them half of the hate you have displayed here. We Igbos, move to other region to conduct our business in peace, what do we get back in return hate and resentment, and you want us to continue in the same country? Whose ethnic group has been running this country?
What is the result today, we are the top of the most impoverished nation on earth.
Bro, keep your hate to yourself. We are aware of it, and only but a matter of time, Igbos will be free from this shackle of a country.

Obijulius:
My good friend let me begin by saying thanks for brining this issue forward.

It takes a bold and wise person to stand by the truth even at the risk of offending popular opinion.

While Nigeria hates the Igbos, Nigeria cannot do well without them. The Igbos have exploited the one trait that is common to most Of Nigeria’s over 400 tribes- a lack on ingenuity and industry. In so doing they have upset the natural balance, becoming the prey that the parasite must eat and yet not devour.

No these other tribes are not lazy! The Igbo man just takes hard work to another level. He is the perfect candidate in this survivor series called life- and will, naturally, exploit the perceived failings of his competitors turned spectators.

He has studied nature to the point where he is at peace with his environment (erosion indeed), his family (usually monogamous) and his God - the supreme being who will always settle matters with fairness and not violence.

But, you must agree with me on this, he is yet to find a perfect way of dealing with his imposed teammates in this thing called Nigeria. He is boosterish to a fault, and lacks tact in dealing with his less fortunate fiends.

The 1966 massacres and the Sharia riots are the end results of a frustration and desperation. Worse still the 20 pound post civil war policy was meant to be a checkmate- to enable his aggrieved neighbours catch up.

These desperate measures by a people no less naturally endowed have been met with frustration time after time. As the Igbo continues to rise like the Phoenix from the ashes. And, show off, his reincarnation to his detractors.

Option 1 is a no go: Nigeria may never see an Igbo President, it will be suicidal for these other tribes.

Option 2 is another no go: With their strides in education, business, international affairs, human development, etc the Igbos have unwittingly offended their neighbours. These neighbours will only reconcile when the Igbos stop doing well or better than them.

Option 3 remains the best option. Ironically, how do we expect the parasite to let go of his prey willingly. The rest of Nigeria will do anything in their power (both earthly and heavenly) to retain the largely unappreciated services of the Igbo!

The Igbo nation must return home and make himself as autonomous as the Californians are in America. Igbos must think Igbo first!

According to MLK: A man can’t ride your back unless it’s bent! We did it in 1966-1970.

Let’s do it again now but without the bullet!

This is apt. This is what the Igbos currently need to quickly do. Eku ru' ulo should be our rallying call henceforth.
Politics / Late Chief Gani Fawehinmi: 9 Years After... by xcrew20: 10:19am On Sep 09, 2018
When Chief Gani's 14-year old first child asked for his dad's support to go to the Nigeria Defence Academy taking the NDA's form to his father to sign, Chief Gani left the form, reached for the cane and flogged the young man for planning to join his tormentors.
From Kaduna prison to Jos prison, from Gombe prison to portharcourt prison, from Kuje prison to Ikoyi prison, Chief Gani Fawehinmi was the most jailed human right activist from Nigeria.

For raising his voice against injustice, his books were confiscated, his library set ablaze, his house and chambers were always raided and he was assaulted on Mobolaji Bank Anthony Way in Lagos by Naval officers.

His travails from security agents never dissuaded him from defending the poor and the weak in the society.
"I defended the students of University of Ibadan in 1971 when one of the students, Kunle Adepeju, was shot dead by the police under Gowon’s regime and the government of the day set up a Commission of enquiry headed by Justice B. O. Kazim and I represented the students for 5 months in that tribunal of enquiry.
In 1976, I defended the students of University of Benin against the wrath of the military government. In 1983, under Shehu Shagari, there was a peaceful demonstration by more than 4000 students of the University of Maiduguri against the misdirected high handedness of the leadership of Professor Jubril Aminu, (former Nigerian Ambassador to the U.S.) Several students were expelled and their education illegally truncated. I fought to the Supreme Court to obtain victory. This is just to mention few of my struggles for justice." Gani recalled.
They always came for him. He was arrested on his 50th birthday.

"I witnessed one of the times they came to arrest him in the house. They were about armed 20 policemen. It was as if they were coming to take a criminal and they brought a big Black Maria. He told them, ‘Gentlemen how are you? Are you ready?’ He told my mum to take care of us and he followed them" His daughter, Idiat recalled.

Due to incessant arrest Chief Gani always kept a bag with toothpaste, toothbrush and the Qur'an with him-always ready for jail.
When he was asked the possibility of defending Ralph Uwazurike he said:
"If am approached by Uwazurike to take up his case, I will fly straight to wherever he is or, if I cannot go there by air, I will go there by road. If I cannot go there by road, I will trek to defend his right to hold an opinion because freedom of speech is a fundamental right. Because he has the right to pursue any objective and if they feel that his objective is criminal, then he has the right to defend himself in the court of law and we shall defend the issue of his fundamental rights".

The incorruptible Chief Gani was able to speak truth to powers because he had nothing to hide. He once said;
"I have never got any contracts from any local government, state government or from federal government. I don’t even know the house of ministers. I never met any Head of State in my life. I’ve never met any minister in my life. I’ve never submitted any application for contract anywhere in my life. I have never submitted any application for contract at any level whatsoever."
Chief Gani was Unbiased, detribalized and unsentimental patriot. When his own daughter was working in his Chambers, she either resumed before/at 7am or be locked outside the gate like any latecomer.

Chief Gani's lung began to deteriorate while doctors were busy focusing on his heart and blood pressure. It got so bad that he called his cardiologist, Dr Mike Fadayomi, his childhood friend from the age of four. He is one of the best cardiologist in this world. He directed Chief Gani to a radiologist to do the X-ray first. When he (radiologist) came with the wet X-ray and showed it to Gani and Fadayomi, the cardiologist shouted; "Gani something dangerous is wrong with your left lung. You must run to London. I don't understand this"
When Chief Gani got to London the doctors told him that he was among the 5% patients in the world who don't smoke or drink and yet had lung cancer.

Gani narrated his ordeals to the doctors in London and one of them hinted that his "horrible detention" must have triggered the lung failure.
The human right activist was asked to prepare for the worst and Gani wept.
To prevent politicians from "hijacking" his burial, Gani bought his casket while alive and made cash available for his funeral with instructions to his children about how he liked his funeral to be.

Chief Gani Fawehinmi literally lost his voice to the ravaging lung cancer before his Sun finally set on 9th September 2009. And Nigeria hasn't been able to find a replacement for that voice of justice and courage till date.
Let's celebrate another selfless Nigerian

A legal ICON
A symbol of JUSTICE
And OUR HERO.
