chrisxxx:

Which Rivers State?
Tinubu can't get more than 50k votes. Rivers will show their support to Wike to deliver the governorship candidate. But presidential it is Obi with a landslide victory.

Unfortunately that's the order from Wike to his foot soldiers here.
Dont be surprise if he gets more than that

Rather Rivers state should pray that Atiku wins and Sim loses too.
If we can get back just 50% of what Wike has stolen in the past 8 years, I say we have done well
We shouldn't allow Wike to go like this, its going to set a very terrible precedence and we shouldn't let this happen

Why should a state refine fuel at N200 OR more, and then sell it at N195, losing money?

So you rather the state Govs loot or dash the money out like the Gov in my state Wike.

Listen and listen carefully, even if its sold at N350. What matter is we are producing locally (jobs) and we dont have to use our scarce forex to import which is mainly responsible for Naira devaluation

Atiku does not really have the economic knowledge and capacity to deliver like Obi. Even as Vice President, Obasanjo, Okonjo Iweala and some other ministers then were the ones making economic and financial decisions. Atiku Abubakar is more of a liberal capitalist who ventured into business with Government resources like any other politician who looted from public office.

The Northerners who want Atiku only want him because he's from the North and want power to remain in the North, not because Atiku can successfully manage Nigeria's resources or because it will benefit them.

Its left for Southerners and Northerners with a goodwill for Nigeria to rally behind Obi to salvage the little that's left with their PVC

Hahahahaha
And Obi that has the knowledge refused to delve into and productive venture. Stopped as a trader which actually has a negative impact on our society.
It's ok. I'm from Niger Delta and Atiku is my candidate

Hendrixky:
After this election we are going to be aware of certain things
1)the problem of Nigeria is tribalism and not all about religion but mostly tribalism
And hausas are not really tribalistic the way we thought
But the yorubas are more tribalistic

Because as at the time Buhari was sick and travelling for medical attention we all was clamouring for him to hand over to a healthy and vibrant Osinbajo. We regretted our action of being stupid to elect a sick old man

But now we have a vibrant and healthy Peter obi contesting but the yorubas because of tribalism wants us to install tinubu again knowing fully well that the world will mock us

The worse part of it is that the pain and memory of the incessant travel for medical check up by Buhari is still very fresh in our mind.not like it happened 20 years ago. It just happened yesterday..

And for all those quoting me. Please am not any of this tribe not igbo, yoruba or hausa. I'm from the South South

You have spoken well but if you understand your history then you probably be able to understand what is going on today.
Unfortunately, the south south (where I also come from) seems to be a lost region. No awareness in politics and very poor history students.

Obi will still get majority of the votes in River state but definitely not 80% and not even 60%

And I simply laugh

The same thing that caused Igbo problem over 50yrs ago and they still havent learnt.

The North was able to pull themselves together despite ethnic and religious differences but the Igbos couldn't pull the eastern region together cos of exactly this.

Peter Obi is contesting now to boost his acceptance come 2032. You don't become a president overnight. There are lots of bridges to cross and he is yet to cross any.

Exactly, 2031 you mean.

Very correct and not just Obi but the entire South East

They need to build bridges, they need to get the trust of other regions esp the North. They need to stop this politics of bitterness.

In summary, they need to listen to Prof Soludo. If they don't, it will be impossible for a person in SE to win Presidency

But will they agree. This election will be a big lesson which I hope they will learn from. Gladly, it only a matter of days now.

The people behind it are criminals wanting to cash out. Nnamdi Kanu was a registered PDP member same with others. IPOB as I know is an agitating group like the yoruba nation agitation , Niger delta and some others. Agitation are legitimate world-wide especially when these people feel oppressed. Not like the boko haram and iswap who derive so pleasure in bombing and killing all in the name of religious belief.
FG declared IPOB terrorist group simply out of sentiment and the president wasn't ready for sincere negotiations.

Like Obi said, he he'll deal with every agitation through negotiations be it in the North, South West, south east etc. .
Most importantly, you don't negotiate with bandit and terrorist.
This writer has no point to make.

Does agitation include killing police at checkpoints, terrorising innocent citizens and burning public facilities. I can't remember the Yoruba agitators doing same
I'm Ijaw so no need to accuse me of being tribalistic.
Ipob/ ESN has long crossed the line, cant be cllaed agitators again. My humble opinion
Politics / Re: Peter Obi Promises To "Checkmate" Boko Haram And ISWAP, Silent On IPOB/ESN by XXCASH: 8:03am On Jan 16, 2023

IPOB is not a terrorist organization but a group seeking for self determination and cessation from Nigeria

Please let us stop this one sided justice

There are genuine ways to seek this. Not by killing police, citizens and burning down public facilities. That's an act of terrorism

The North can also claim that Boko Haram are seeking for self determination. 2 wrongs dont make a right.

I really doubt you're Ijaw but I want to ask you some questions. What exactly has Obidients done that is against the law? Can you mention one?

Prior to 2015 general election, we were all withnesses to APC supporters did to Jonathan. They attacked Jonathan, his wife and everything they identify with. They carried a coffin publicly and put an image of Jonathan inside it. They also carried his framed picture alongside while yelling and saying RIP Jonathan!!!

They harrased his wife, called her shepopotamus and used her for all manner of demeaning jokes??!! No single person was arrested by police over those harrassments, but today so many youths have been arrested by the DSS because of perceived insults on Aisha!!!

Buhari's current media adviser, Garba Shehu called for a civil war when fuel price was 97 naira per liter!!!

The same APC that did all these is today crying that Obidients are mobs, how?

APC is just using that line as a blackmail tool after realizing that Obidients have silenced them and taken over the narrative both online and offline. Only gullible people who don't understand what is going on, will fall for their blackmail.

Well I'm approaching 50yrs so I dont need to proof anything.
When youth corpers were attacked in 2011 cos of Buhari, I strongly supported bringing him for questioning as recommended by the then NSA Gen Azazi.
The bitterness that they had going into 2015 election is what has kept us where we are today. I voted for Buhari in 2015 as GEJ was a flop but voted against him in 2019.
GEJ couldn't control his wife, she messed up politics in my state Rivers state and we are still suffering from it today. Both GEJ and his wife cant even associate themselves with Wike that they gave to us

Friendly Reminder

During the Presidential Election in 2019, PDP got a little over 11million votes. But a closer look at the vote spread revealed that Atiku won Adamawa state with 410,266 votes only. In fact, the entire Northern votes for Atiku was less than 3million votes. That leaves us with a balance of 8 million Southern votes. Why did the South vote for a corrupt Atiku?

The Obi effect plus people really wanted to do away with Buhari. If any APC urchin think Obi will lose 8million Southern votes (SW inclusive), you need a brain check.

Atiku benefited from Obi's integrity at the time.

Modified

For those PDP supporters quoting me, ask Reno why he promoted Obi' more than his principal in 2019. In fact, all PDP influencers focused on Obi' rather than Atiku. Obi' did real damage control on Atiku in 2019. Till date, Reno tweets less about Atiku, talk more about Okowa. Why? Them b thieves with no valuable content

Brain check, Urchins, abbado etc. Why do you guys always feel the need to insult others that dont support Obi.

Really I'm very pleased I stopped supporting Obi and I'm certain he wont win. This election will be a big lessons for most of you.
