DAILY STOCK MARKET GUIDE FOR 31 JULY 2019/STAGE ANALYSIS OF SOME STOCK MSCI still quiet in the market. I have observed that the stage analysis cannot be used blindly without the backing of some fundamental analysis/ other technical indicators. Nonetheless we are enjoying the stage analysis details. Now I can put my money in companies that will allow me to sleep well. Let us see our analysis of some companies in stage 1 for this week? Caution: This is for information purpose only. Data used are assumed to be correct. However, you may want to verify the data from an appropriate source. Also, Institutions can afford to suffer big losses without going burst compared with an individual, you cannot follow them blindly (you need to at least have some knowledge/your own plan). DAILY STOCK MARKET GUIDE FOR 30 JULY 2019 MSCI still keeping a clean slate. Downward momentum in the market is slowing down. Looking at the results released so far, most has been within our expectation, very interesting!!! Let us see how the expected result for Dangote Sugar will be? HOPE FOR BETTER 2ND QUARTER RESULT FOR UACN REDUCED With the result from CAP, Portpaint and Livestock feeds. Whatever high expectation we have for profit growth from UACN need to be cut down. Although UACN property has a reduced loss, the sky looks cloudy for substantial profit growth for this company. For me I will avoid this type of company for the moment. DAILY STOCK MARKET GUIDE FOR 29 JULY 2019 We look forward to an interesting week. MSCI list is still static. The market for the moment is still down, let us curtail our optimism. We still need more buyers in the market. I remember when a Nigeria Senator (Dino) was returning back to PDP, he was singing "oh my oh, oh my PDP ............." I believe the market may sing for Access Bank again after the 2nd quarter result is out!!! Let us keep our arms folded Caution: This is for information purpose only. WE NEED SOME BASIC KNOWLEDGE IN THIS MARKET ERA The believe in the stock market previously was that you buy the blue chips and then in some years you make money Those were the day before the cowboys joined the business community. Now without some basic knowledge (so many people without knowledge are still in the market, thinking that once you are on social media reading some relevant/irrelevant things or what your grandfathers told you in the past you are now a mini expert , welcome you will soon know the truth). I was about jumping up that the current earning per share for WAPCO is now NGN56, with 16billions shares in issue, wonderful!!! However, we should know that there was a "typo" on the report. EPS for WAPCO for 30 June 2019 is NGN0.56, let us be appropriately guided. Caution: This is for information purpose only. Data used are assumed to be correct. DAILY STOCK MARKET GUIDE FOR 26 JULY 2019 MSCI on 25 July still inactive in the market. Market still waiting for more volume, let us see what will happen in the next 2 weeks. We should not forget our initial plan when we buy any stock. If we have bought for short term, do not let us convert it to long term investments. The time has changed, now there are more traders in the market than buy and hold investors! You cannot expect big profit like 50 to 100% in this market environment. Once you see some 20% profit or about 12% loss better get out of the market Take this advice with the usual terms and conditions applied Caution: This is for information purpose only. DAILY STOCK MARKET GUIDE FOR 25 JULY 2019/ANALYSIS OF RECENT RESULTS RELEASED MSCI still inactive in the market. Mobil, Redstar and UPL released their results yesterday. Only the result for Redstar can be classified as fair, the other 2 are poor (thus the 2 companies should be off our radar for some time). For University Press, the company is likely to have lost a major contract in the last one year, if you have any shares in the company the best is to sell NOW before you get hit by the big loss (at the moment whatever you have lost is small compared with the loss that is coming). Market still down. I will post any profit forecast we request for later today (companies that are always traded only) base on popular demand. But below is our expectation for FBNH next result. Generally market is still down, move the market, like Zenith, MTN, SEPLAT and co. Caution: This is for information purpose only. Data used are assumed to be correct. DAILY STOCK MARKET GUIDE FOR 23 JULY 2019 Looking forward to what will be the outcome of the MPC meeting. Whatever is the MPC action will determine how the market will play the market for the next few months. MSCI is still on temporary break. I am on MSCI side, but fundamentals of some results will likely bring me out of my shell. These days, I am so cool on the market, no big worry since I have the stage analysis report and the profit forecast on my side. Let us stay with fundamentally sound equities, we should stop buying stock because the prices are cheap. On a closing remark, we should come out our shell and continue to contribute like before. However, we should stay by the side of what we have good knowledge about, we are all useful in this forum. Today you can see our forecast for FMNL and WAPIC, expected quarter result. DAILY STOCK MARKET GUIDE FOR 19 JULY 2019 Investing does not have to be like gambing? We need to invest only companies with growth potential. Market is still down. The 2nd quarter results will differentiate the growth companies from those that will make you poorer? See the expectation for Nestle/Okomu below: MSCI still on the buying side of the market, buy trying to play safe by not concentrating too much on particular equities. if MSCi is now playing safe, why will you want to gamble with your relatively small money (compared with MSCI)? Now is time to start playing the market with caution. Caution: This is for information purpose only. Data used are assumed to be correct. DAILY STOCK MARKET GUIDE FOR 16 JULY 2019 MSCI still quiet in the market, no action. A caveat for us is that we do not take decision solely on fundamentals or technicals, the two are taken into consideration to arrive at a good decision. Our biggest losses are going to arise if we rely on fundamentals only as we may end up buying too early, when the momentum from the technical side does not support our decision. On 9th of July post made by you, you wrote that stocks on Stage 4 should not be bought. That your followers should buy stock on stage 2. FCMB was on stage 4 according to you(based on your TA). And now from this post you stated thst your followers can buy FCMB based on your projected Half year PAT (based on your FA). Isn't there a conflict you should resolve?
Thanks Rabbi, In one of the write-ups, I pointed out the fact that one can buy in any stage if you detect that stage 5 pattern has form or is about to form. If we are to wait for stage 2, we will not buy anything in this our Nigeria market for a long time. At the moment no stock is in stage 2. See my posting of 13th June 2019, where this was explained. God bless you |

UPDATE FOR CLOSE OF THE WEEK 12 JULY 2019 What a week!!! The market lost a huge 2.40% for the week and the loss for the year now 9.11%. Reasonable investors definitely need a break. We should not allow our emotions to control us. Doubling down at this point will be loser’s game. Again our emphasis at this point will be to hold on to our cash till market is back to the 29,000. STOCK MARKET UPDATE- CLOSE OF MARKET 11 JULY 2019 Today is a day of the black swan. Instead of the expected positive, the index closed heavily on the Negative side @ 28,712.90 Playing this market without a plan is dangerous. It is back to the drawing board. 10 gainers 19 losers. Like the general saying, by fire by force the market is teaching us to control our emotions. For now, only few equities are good in the market. In a falling market like this, buy and hold can kill someones investment. My stop losses are on standby. The day FCMB closes below NGN1.56, I will have to take my stop loss without looking back since I bought at 1.69. There is no perfect investment strategy, even if we have bullet proof charm (my odeshi cannot withstand these level of bear fire power if it continues), by the time the market comes with a bomb, the charm may not work again, better to run for your life Caution: Information for educational purpose only. 4 Likes 1 Share |

It's laughable if not with deceive intent, what makes you think so? Maybe you are just assuming. My questions to you are these. 1. What makes you think such? 2. Did both have bad result in 2018 or 2019 q1 ? 3. Have you seen their 2019 q2 result, if yes do they perform positively or negatively? 4. What happen to unity, wema, Polaris , Sterling, Jaiz etc.?
Please let us note that Jaiz is not a affected by the regulation for the normal banks. It operates in the financial sector where the required capital is currently lower than NGN25billion |

DAILY STOCK MARKET GUIDE FOR 5 JULY 2019 MSCI Nigeria on 04 July 2019 did not record any transaction as the day was a public holiday in USA. By the close of today we will know the movement in the portfolio. Market (Allshare Index) this week is likely to close lower than last week figures, as this morning loss for the week is 2.24% . We should keep our emotions under control, only few stocks will release positive earnings. Therefore, we should be selective in our selection of equities to buy. DAILY STOCK MARKET GUIDE FOR 3 JULY 2019 MSCI Nigeria on 02 July 2019 sold Dangote Sugar and FCMB. Market is still risky let us still apply caution. We need to apply additional criteria, that our proposed company we want to invest in is applying International Standard (this is not in terms of the degrees or Ph.Ds. acquired by the Management/Directors). I want to be blunt here, one of the criteria is that there must be a major Foreign shareholder (preferable a Colonial Power like likes European/South Africa/ American, forget Asians or Latin America, they were also Colonized) that is exercising some form of control on the organisation, such that the company reports to a Head Office Outside Nigeria. Call the above Colonial mentality, but to protect your money and have rest of mind, we should not entrust our money to a management that will run away/share our money among themselves while leaving the shareholders poor. My example is the year ended report (Dec 2018) for NPF Micro Finance bank, somebody embezzled money that threw the company to a loss positions (in a Police company, reporting to CBN, and I am sure EFCC is close to this company). Then the company want to do a right issue, but I will call it a wrong issue so that there will be bigger money for somebody to embezzle in the future Thank God for a forum like this, I am sure many of us will not partake in the proposed "wrong issue" More details of the criteria will be for our subscribers in subsequent reports. Caution: This is for information purpose only. Data used are assumed to be correct. However, you may want to verify the data from an appropriate source.
