I think its because of the sevis fee...you have to pay that before going for the interview.

The visa aint fake,my fear is if he/she asks why I want to go to USA why not India.....................please all I need is a back up statement

Well...just say that the States is more developed and provides more opportunities for you. Key it down to something...let's say they have better equipments which would support you and your major.
So why go to India when you can get better education from studying in the States. Moreover, studying in a developed country will give you the knowledge on how to make your country better.
I hope this helps.Goodluck wink

Its possible to get visa this year and not Mid November... But as for appointment you can see date for Mid November but the fear is the time your school will decide on your application might be Mid next month or ending of next month since you are applying to the schools in 2/3 weeks time.

You cant register SAT yourself online, You will need to go through the only agent that is working with collegeboard and not other agents ooo and 2/3 weeks to your SAT exam they will give you your registration or exam number to use and print your admission ticket for the exam..

The next SAT exam is November and is better you go and register this coming week before November edition closed.

How do you mean by one does not require the Waec exam? Which is school is that and are you sure of what you are saying? Maybe they want your high school transcripts and not Waec abi?
Yeah...dey just need the transcript.. I have registered n m just waiting for the confirmation mail so I can change d list of schools dat will receive the results and then apply

Hey guys..I was wondering,is it possible to still get a visa this year against spring 2015...I have written the required exam for the schools I will be applying to(which is just TOEFL)...dey do not require SAT at all but m still writing it by November and one does not require the Waec exam.
I will be changing the schools that will receive my TOEFL result next week and be applying to the new schools the week after. So,is it possible to do do all dat and get a visa appointment by Mid November?
Before I forget ...how long does it take to receive a confirmation email after registering for the SAT.

Hey guys...is EducationUSA the best...I mean...dey re telling me to go for fall 2015 when I had all hopes in going for spring 2015..
They want to see my SAT result before I can become a member and dat will be during November. I wanted to attend Minnesota State University Moorhead, but EducationUSA told me that they won't encourage me to go to MSUM because of the bad weather and I would not even get a visa.
Plus who is going to attend or is already attending University of South Dakota

coobboy:
Talk to the school(your international advisor) about it first... As long as you have applied, evaluation of results can still take place even after the deadline.

You can surely wait for your NECO result just inform your international adviser. (just try sending your waec result first, if they reject it, tell it to then that you have a result pending and you'll be sending it to them as soon as it comes online)
There's no need to be confused.
And GOODLUCK with your TOEFL exam
...thank you..I will contact them tomorrow...today is labor day

Do they need sat or toefl? Or it's just exempt
Dey require both...im just confused....I don't know if I should wait for my neco result first...d English requirement is c4 and I got c5 in my waec....I really want to attend MSU Moorhead...
If I don't get my neco result soon...I am thinking of just going ahead to apply to the school with my waec result. I will be writing my TOEFL on Saturday
