a friend of mine owns a bet9ja shop and one day he was working as a cashier since he has less hand that day.
he observed that about 16k plus in his visual account disappeared.
as a former banker, he run a tray of all the transaction and couldn't see it.
he called his super agent who said he has never experience such and advised him to send mail to bet9ja which he did.
after like a week plus, he was credited with the exact amount meaning that the problem was with bet9ja.
that might be your case if you are sure you didn't play game with it.

Politics / Nigerians Are Fantastically Corrupt; How True? by Yourcomrade(m): 11:09am On May 25, 2016
According to the oxford advanced learners dictionary, corruption is the act of dishonesty or illegal behavior. It further reveals that it’s the act or effect of making something or somebody change from moral to immoral standard of behavior. Fantastic in other words can be seen as extreme, extraordinary, etc. fantastically corrupt in a wider perspective can be seen as extremely dishonest, extremely immoral behavior or extraordinarily posse’s illegal behavior.
Nigeria being a country in the western Africa continent with a population of about 170m people dominated by blacks gained their independent in 1960 from the colonial master(British) has pass through series of leadership tussle ranging from regional government to military rule characterized by series of coup de ta to the present fragile democratic dispensation with series of treat ranging from sedition from the eastern part, terrorism from the northern part, and destruction of oil facility from the southern part have over the years witness the issue of moral misconduct among public officers ranging from conversion of public fund for personal use, embezzlement, kick-backs, etc which have lead to the establishment of public agencies like the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC), the Independent Corrupt Practice and other Offences related Commission (ICPC), etc to combat the series of financial theft/misappropriation across ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) and these agencies have over the years said to have recovered substantial amount of monies from from past leaders as well public office holders ranging from director of public agencies, ministers and co.
Corruption which has been a usual topic in the Nigerian dailies have become the topical issue in the present administration given the wide range of alleged financial misappropriation in the past Dr Goodluck Jonathan lead administration of which the present administration have devoted a commensurate effort in combating the alleged misappropriation. It will be recalled that earlier this month, the media reported that the British Prime Minister described Nigerians (170m people) as fantastically corrupt. A statement He the PM never countered. Let’s assume that the total number of political office holders in Nigeria is approximately 10m. So how has 10m people turn the entire Nigerian populations of 170m to be fantastically corrupt? How has the financial embezzlement of public officers entrusted with the management of public fund translated to the fantastic corruption of my fellow countrymen and women in the markets, on the streets, at their private businesses, etc looking for their daily bread. Mr PM this is fallacy of hasty generalization.
It is widely spread on the media that our number one citizen in person of president Mohammed Buhari (GCFR) openly acknowledged that we Nigerians are fantastically corrupt and urged them to assist in the repatriation of stolen funds. What this implies is that He himself and His household, His entire cabinet, our able armed forces my fellow countrymen and women, individuals in their private businesses and the entire Nigerian population of about 170m great people are fantastically corrupt.
My president it is evident that we have a number of corrupt people among us but that does not in any way translate to 170m Nigerian people being fantastically corrupt. A country’s president acknowledged the fact that corruption is a global problem and that is what I (we) Nigerian(s) expected of you. You have been instrumental in spearheading the fight against corruption and Nigerians are solidly behind you but the fact that you cannot defend the interest of my fellow countrymen and women on the streets of Nigeria and desporal on issues like this amount to character assassination by the British PM and seconded by you.
It would have been a nice thing for you to remind the PM that the foundation, the structure and framework on which Nigeria is existing as a nation is been laid by the (the British). A close analysis of our public finance structure during the colonial era will reveal that the budgets then were largely attributed to warefarism rather than developmental. At present, most resources embezzled from Africa tend to be at safe heaven when they get to the west. It will also interest them that embezzled fund by the fantastically corrupt Nigerians becomes HOLY fund for investment and purchase of assets the moment they arrive at the west. That they the westerners provide an avenue for the safe movement of those funds by the fantastically corrupt Nigerians.
My Grand Commander in Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, corruption is a moral thin and as such bad for any institution that bends towards growth. We are a nation found on ideals and in defending Nigeria, we stand together to actualize those ideals this nation was found on. Let us all fight the foundation of corruption for in bringing down a palm tree; you must start from the base. Let’s start the fight against corruption from the base and that’s the moral aspect of our lives by being morally responsible. My fellow Nigerians let us all say no to corruption for we are not fantastically corrupt. Yourcomrade
Politics / The Unjust Justice by Yourcomrade(m): 10:23am On May 23, 2016
In a popular Nigerian novel titled “the gods are not to blame” by Ola Rotimi later turned to a TV series by NTA in their popular series titled “super stories”. It was recorded that a child was born and the destiny of the child according to the chief priest was to kill His father and marry his mother. God forbid as the people echoed and their decision was to throw the child into the evil forest where He is expected to die but somehow the child survived and later fulfills His destiny of killing his father and marrying his mother. Later the land was in comatose (difficult time) and the chief priest was summoned and after due consultation, the chief priest inform the people that “the problem of Kutuje is in the land of Kutuje”.
From the above premise and in relation with the happening in our great land (Nigeria) ranging from economic hardship to destruction of oil facilities in the southern region of the country, I can theoretically assert that the problem of Nigeria is in Nigerians. How can we go forward as a nation when every effort is being politicized at the expense of fellow Nigerians? For instance see where we are today with the issue of subsidy that would have been a forgotten issue back in 2012 had it been it was not politicized. How can we the Niger Deltans cry for injustice by the federal government when people like Tompolo, Asari Dokubo and co used the same channel to enrich themselves at the expense of good and peaceful people of Niger Deltans? How can the federal government moan about the destruction of oil facilities in the Niger Delta region when they fail to incorporate the host communities in the allocation of oil blocks during the military regime and the list continues?
In a popular movie series titled 24. In the season nine, a terrorist group controlled by Maggot Harassy hijacked the US drone and threaten to use it against the mass unless president Heller surrenders himself to her in her chosen location as a payback for the air strike he authorized that killed her husband. Further investigation reveals that there were children inside the building as at the time of the air strike which the president chief of staff fail to disclose to the president but was revealed by Maggot. When president Heller confronted his chief of staff, he admitted and claim that there were much at hand rather than bordering him with the details and president Heller’s exact statement was that by doing this “you have given our enemy a moral victory”. The fact that about 80% of oil blocks in the Niger Delta Region belongs to the Northerners and past military personnel or associates to former head of states has given the Niger Delta Avengers a moral victory. The fact that the likes of Tompolo and co used the avenue to enrich themselves has given the Niger Delta Avengers a moral victory. The fact that neutral groups who are supposed to be the voice of the mass like the Movement for the Emancipation of Niger Delta (MEND) has been politically hijacked also gives the Niger Delta Avengers a moral victory. The fact that oil spillage in the region has not been properly cleaned and crop yield dropping as a result of oil exploration and gas flaring also gives the Niger Delta Avengers a moral victory. The fact that amnesty program has been fantastically corrupt and hijacked by the elites also gives the Niger Delta Avengers a moral victory.
Just as the Bible book of Romans says that shall we continue in sin so that the grace of God abound? God forbid. Shall we continue the bombings so that the spillage continues and bring further hardship to our people? God forbid. Should all the injustice by the government continue so that the Niger deltans fold their arms and watch? God forbid.
Injustice begot violence and both are no friend of growth and development. For us to move forward as Niger Deltans and as a nation, we must give room for friendly negotiation and I implore us all to drop our individual garment of self-centeredness and put on the garment of selflessness and that we all should be individually responsible before we talk about collective responsibility for individual responsibility begot collective responsibility since individuals makes up a group and both makes up institutions. Let us all give room for friendly negotiation so that we can move forward and bring about development in our region and to Nigeria at large. Yourcomrade
Literature / Mobile Phone; A Curse Or A Blessing? by Yourcomrade(m): 12:20pm On Apr 20, 2016
Since the year 2000, the number of mobile phone users across the Nigerian campuses has been increasing a in geometric progression due to the ease at which information is diseminated through various apps and as well aid research in various choosen areas of studies with the help of search engines like google, yahoo, ask, etc.
With the above ascertion, i can hypothetically state that 95% of students of higher institutions of learning accross the country uses mobile phones and i can further hypothesis that 80% out of this 95% uses mobile phones that allow internet access. Based on the above fact, I can theorize that eight in every ten students of the above 80% of students with internet capability in their mobile phones uses two or three social apps for communication among peers.
My operational theory here is that a good percentage of the students across various higher institutions of learning are exposed to internet which is a great blessing given the numerous benefit of internet access ranging from gaining access to various knowledge through research, ease our assignment/term paper writing, gaining informations on recent happenings in our choosen fields of study across the globe, etc.
The question here is that are we actually utilizing the benefit of using internet enabled phones to aid our study or are we maximizing the curse associated with it? Given the increase in the number of social app users like Whatsapp, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Badoo, Skype, etc and majority of the discussion that goes on in those apps contributes less to our various choosen areas of study and the rate at which most mobile phones users lunch their search engine to the rate at which they lunch any of the social apps is on the ratio of 1:5 daily.
It is evident that the hours most students spends on various social apps have out weighed the hours spent in lectures and self studies. It is cryster clear that three in every ten student are most likely to reply a social app message that do not relate to their subject during study and the end result of all these will be a poor academic performance due to the fact that most of the students have acquired a Phd in social app messaging while still struggling for their first degree in their various choosen feild of study which at the end put pressure on the lecturers to paddle the students academic results since no lecturer would love to fail their student while some will invoke the principle of nothing goes for nothing.
Conclusively, i will say that mobile phones is doing our students more harm than good unless we impose a high degree of self discipline in our usage of social apps while utilizing the numeruous benefit associated with them.
Thanks to social apps since i can only communicate this write up through it. –Yourcomrade.
