Moving her abroad is great and a good choice but also what country matters. It is difficult for Nigerian doctors with a Nigerian degree to practice medicine in places like the US. Some actually do not get to practice any longer when they mobe to the US unlike the UK where it is easier for them. You have to consider those factors.

Go home and support Peter Obi. Igbos need to speak with one voice and bodly in the numbers they churn out for PeterObi in this election. I can tell you when that happens southeast will become a political force to reckon with.
ujoatu:
STATEMENT OF APPRECIATION AND THANKSGIVING.

1. Good morning compatriots.

2. I am issuing this statement after a careful review of our campaign for the presidential ticket of the APC.

3. First, I thank our Almighty God, creator and giver of all things, for the gift of everything we are or have. I then will thank all of the many persons, those a far and those around, who through personal services, prayers, texts, advise, financial gifts, donations, and numerous other means, encouraged me.
3. I thank my Family, who have endured my incessant derision of their preference for a less public and risky, lifestyle.

4. I thank all my friends, well wishers and even those who may not wish us all that well, but have played their parts in the National discuss.

5. I would urge that no one should be despondent or disappointed. My approach to the Nigeria presidency, is hinged on being able to present a progressive vision of an inclusive, united and focused brand of energy to transform Nigeria into a wholesome economic power house, whose citizens will be better secured to live more fulfillingly.
5. I choose to take the tedious path of following the law, meeting requirements and staying disciplined, in other to sell a paradigm of same.

6. I appreciate all the sacrifices of time, resources and emotions that have been invested by so many persons, young and old, near and afar in this tedious path.

7. I and almost all other aspirants agreed to a consensus approach to the selection of our candidate, to effectively maintain the outlook of a progressive family ,away from an all for money by highest bidder image, which had already been assigned to another political party.

8. I and other aspirants now of the south east, wrote the leadership of our party to appreciate the commitment to move the presidential ticket to the south, and requested a further deepening to the southeast to reflect our primary reason for seeking the office, which remains, "to build a more united and inclusive secured and prosperous nation." This much has been captured in the communique south east aspirants issued on 22nd May, the speeches of Mr. President at his meetings with APC Governors, that of aspirants and of stakeholders.

9. Following the failure of all these entreaties, it became clear that the convention was headed away from these lofty ideals I subscribe to and will still pursue. I therefore declined to attend.

10. These ideals reflected in what some of the south east aspirants who choose to attend referred to in their pleas for Justice, or need to constitutionally require it, in the face of the absence of conscience. Even their elderly wailing on national television could not move a vote, if I had shouted same in a more youthfull voice, it may have become inciteful in face of our current security difficulties in the southeast and may thus spite our efforts. Better to stay out.

11. I am committed to pursuing the ideals of a more united, inclusively secured prosperous nation for us all, lending to our dear country, its citizens and those who may be positioned to use it, the experiences acquired, lessons learnt and the various matrix that I may bring to bear.

12. I am gratefull for the opportunity to engage all strata of our society, all cadres of of leadership both in our party and our country. I appreciate the luxury of your various audience, in sharing this message.

Thank you all , so very much.

Hon. Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba 08.06.22

Oyigbo is a perfect example of what happens when a town is forgotten by government. Successive Rivers state government abandoned oyigbo and umueblle towns. The funny thing is that these towns houses important infrastructure like afam power stations and there is the presence of SPDC. But still there are no roads no development and what do you expect lots of miscreants will settle there and live amongst the good people. From Odili to Amaechi to Wike oyigbo and umuebulle has been regulated. The people in these areas rally together to build their roads or wait on shell to do the roads for them. But whenever there is choas, the state government remembers there is a place called oyigbo and umueblle communities.

Religion / Re: CAN Rejects CAMA, Says Government Cannot Control Churches by Zejie: 5:38pm On Aug 20, 2020
BabaRamota1980:

The churches brought this upon themselves.

There are many muslim communities just like Zakzaky group in North. They mind their business and never get involved in govt issues. Zakyzaky stays in govt business all the time. Thats why he is in trouble now.

Jonathan set a bad precedence when he will have these pastors meddling govt business. They got too comfortable and started commenting on what govt is doing or not doing. When you are a tax exempt organization, stay away from govt the best you can. Put a long distance between you and govt. Govt has all the rules and ways to fvk up anyone, if they choose to. These churches did same thing Zakyzaky did, started fvkng with govt. So now govt wants to fcvk with them too. Its unfortunate but its reality.

There is a pastor in America called Pastor Dollar or something like that. He used to condemn govt and live large and flaunt. One of their legislators got on his case and wanted to probe him and his church. The Pastor got the message at that point.

If CAMA can bring out same result in Nigerian pastors it will be great. The money they waste on acquiring jets and building for-profit private institutions should be better used in promoting wellbeing and supporting needs of communities and people. At the end of it people benefit when churches come to their aid in time of distress and need.
So in ur mind, it is churches private jets and monies that govt would use to develop Nigeria? Na wa for you oh. If crude oil money is not able to develop Nigeria na church money.

People in Umuebulle II should start talking about this please. The way the community is going about this is not fair. I dont know what court order prohibits people from taking pictures and videos in a situation like this. It looks so strange that a court order would support the destruction of peoples properties this way. I see this as injustice and an unjust means devised by some people to make and resell lands. If the court has ruled that so called lands in contention belongs to the Etche community does it mean peoples house on the lands should be destroyed?

Politics / Non-indigenes Are Losing Their Homes And Lands In Etche Community by Zejie: 3:53am On Feb 20, 2020
Non indigenes in Umuebule II, Etche local government are losing their homes and this has been going on for a month. The indigenes have been destroying houses and properties belonging to non- indigenes with the backing of a “court order”. People who legitimately bought lands and have lived in Umuebule II for up to 10 years have lost everything they ever labored for and have been rendered homeless and hopeless. Other people are being asked to rebuy their lands at exorbitant prices.
The problem is believed to have started with a disagreement between Okrika LGA and Etche LGA. It is alleged that many years ago the Etche people gave lands to the Okrika community as a reward for helping them (Etche) fight a war. The straw that broke the camel’s back and led to the current crises was the request by the Okrika community for Shell (SPDC) recognizes them as a separate community in Etche and the attempt by the Okrika people to crown a king in Umuebule. This action got the Etche people angry and the Etche people resolved to take back the lands they gave to the Okrika people. In the bid to take back their lands, The Etche people are now destroying houses belonging to non-indigenes who legitimately bought these lands from the Okrika people. Even people who bought lands legitimately from the late King Njoku are also in fear of losing their lands and houses.
The Etche indigenes are using men of the Special Anti-robbery Squad (SARS) to intimidate people. People are not allowed to take pictures or videos. Anyone caught doing so risks been arrested by the SARS officials.

Religion / Re: Pastor Chris Oyakhilome: Woman Was Not God's Original Idea (video) by Zejie: 9:54am On Jul 12, 2019
jesusjnr:
Lies! Lies!! Lies!!!

For if woman was not God's original idea, how come God at time of the conception of the idea of making man, used "let them" instead of "let him" on this occasion?

Genesis 1:26 (KJV)

And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

For how was the man going to turn to them if a woman was not God's original idea?

Woman was always an integral part of God's original idea to make man in His own image, and after His likeness, for she was the one that God intended to use to turn the man, into them.

Genesis 1:27 (KJV)

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

And everything was very good after God had made the woman.

Genesis 1:31 (KJV)

And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Woman's problem began when she made man take the place of God in her life, for God her Maker was supposed to be her original Lord and Master, not man who was just her husband.

For that was what led her to disobedience of God's Word in the beginning.

And that was why God let her have her wish as a punishment that man shall rule over her, since she had chosen to please man instead of her maker by going contrary to His instructions.

But that punishment was reversed with the coming of her maker in the form of Man, called Jesus who reversed the curse of her sins, and reclaimed His position as her Lord and Master.

Hence His rebuke of the woman called Martha, so that she does not repeat the same mistake woman made in the beginning, in the process of trying to please man instead of her Lord and Maker.

Luke 10:41-42 (KJV)

41 And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things:
42 But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.

shocked what rubbish are you writing? I wonder what some people are taught in their churches. I think you need help in understanding the Bible because it looks like you have brainwashed into believing something that looks like the Bible but if you look closer you will discover you have been scammed. Seek help before it is too late

Very unfortunate. I don't and will never support men beating their wives but the woman is wrong and a lot of questions still needs to be answered. The man too was assaulted and except there are other medical reports to prove his intestinal bleeding was caused by something other than the beating, I think the woman and her brothers are in for a serious case. She could have walked away, rather than enduring for 12years.There is more to this story. In the end it is only God that will judge. cry

seems you forgot you guys in oyigbo are the main cause of your problems. Right from Odili's, Amaechi and now Wike government, Oyigbo has been backwards. You guys would request for marching ground when govt wants to repair your roads, Your chiefs always request to be at the helm of any contract awarded for fixing infrastructure and they always squander the money. It is in Oyigbo that the indigines are always happy when their road is bad because another govt contract for road is coming hence more money to share. Its now a yearly for roads to be repaired in Oyigbo. Elections are coming and I am sure Wike would come and give out contracts for roads and the chiefs and indigines would squander the money . Abeg don't blame Wike for anything, just thank God for the presence of Shell in Oyigbo.

Nairalanders,

It is the height of ignorance and deliberate mischief to accuse the minister of Education or the presidency of adjusting or changing the school corricum is Nigeria.
Nigerian Educational Research and Development Council (NERDC) is responsible for for such exercise. Neither the presidency nor the minister of Education can single handedly review the school Curriculum in Nigeria.

Having said this,I want to categorically state that neither CRK or IRS was removed from the School Curriculum but
are now merged under one subject listing which is Religious and National Values (RNV). This is intended to be in tandem with international models. CRS and IRS are standing as distinct courses, but merged under one subject listing. That integration also embodies subjects such as Civic Education, Social Studies and Security Education. This development should be applauded with the rising case of radicalization and insecurity.

In view of this clarification made above, contrary to the lies being peddled by war mongers, trouble makers, corrupt haunted elements, partisan 'pastors", and even a christian body like CAN which is now seen as a political wing of the dying main opposition party by many, this revision was made between 2012-2014.

In conclusion, it is pure wickedness and deliberate facts twisting to accuse both the Federal government and Minister of Education of an Islamic agenda.

Why the fuss about Arabic being taught?

IamaNigerianGuy:

This is not a miracle. It is a phenomenon well documented in the medical literature. It has happened before and will happen again.

The patient was mistakenly diagnosed as deceased after what was probably a cardiac arrest. He in all likelihood had spontaneous resumption of cardiac and circulatory activity. The technical term is ROSC
"A patient is not dead until he is warm and dead" is what you are taught in emergency medicine courses because cold preserves the vital organs and can allow recovery later.

In 19th century Europe and America , there were so many cases of people mistakenly thought dead who woke up, that a practice was established of keeping the 'corpse' in a room for 24 to 48 hours with a bell beside him/her. Friends and relatives would gather expectantly waiting with hope. If he awoke he was supposed to ring the bell.
That is the origin of the term 'wake keeping'
Na wa for you oh. Pls kindly explain how the holes disappeared, if you can't do that all you wrote is nonsense.

Your own claims were not only distorted but were annoyingly false. You said the north voted you out for ethnic reasons, you said you wondered why you lost Benue and called Benue people "our people " You forgot that the north voted for you in 2011. The gospel truth is that no right thinking person voted for you and no amount of rigging would have made you win because you can only rig elections where you have majority support . Nigerians didn't want you. Some people voted for you because you were from the same tribe with them, some voted for you because they don't want a fulani man to become president, some voted for you because because you were of the same religion with them and a good number of these people were brainwashed into thinking that a Muslim will islamise Nigeria. Some voted for you because they were scared of going to prison. Besides this sets of people, no other person had any reason to vote for you. You folded your hands and watched while Boko Haram ravaged the north. Your government was "loot and go". You suspended and sacked whistle blowers, you used the army to harass political opponents. Nigeria earned more than she has ever earned under you but you guys looted the country into recession. Our army under you became a laughing stock. So Mr man, stop giving us your beer parlour opinion and face reality. It's a shame that you don't understand the politics of Nigeria after all these years in the political scene. Shame on you mr PhD holder. No wonder, you are called clueless!
Na wa for you oh, some people also voted for buhari because they are of the same religion, some people also voted and allowed massive underage voting because buhari was a fulani man. Has buhari done better? Are our fears not being justified? The menace of fulani herdsmen since buhari came into power has been disheartening, some Nigerians are living in their homelands like conquered peoples, farmlands have become a death trap for innocent citizens and your buhari is folding his hands and his stupid silence on the issue calls for a sober reflection. A president who labelled his country a section of his country as 5%, is he in any way better? So far all his appointments have been highly in favour of the north, compulsory retirements for senior Southern military officers as against their northern colleagues, The latest being the current SSS recruitment figures. Were the people not justified to have voted Jonathan because he's from the same tribe with them? Buhari met Nigeria economy better than where he took us to after his first year. The gospel truth is that buhari largely contributed to our economy failure, his policies as related to Financial issues was the real issue, thanks to Osinbajo that saved the day.

They have the right to summon him. Its part of their duty as senators under the powers of the National assembly in the constitution 89c, it says that the senate has the right to summon any NIGERIAN to give evidence concerning any matter under investigation by the senate. In 89a, it states the type of evidence and it includes oral. Prof Sagay said the current senators are irresponsible and are just there for vanity. What the senate is doing is investigating if they are irresponsible and he should appear to show evidence of their irresponsibility.
