Politics / Re: ECOWAS Says 'D-Day' Set For Possible Niger Intervention by zeyt: 6:45am On Aug 19, 2023
The hot headed ECOWAS should consider a number of factors that may likely play against them in the course of their operation in Niger. Majority in Niger did not believe in democracy the ECOWAS was trying to restore and in fact people of Niger will work against their military operation. Another thing is the terrain which will give the Junta a great advantage in taking out the logistics of the operation. Countries like Barkinafaso and Mali won't just fold their arms and watch ECOWAS invade Niger. In fact they share borders with Niger. A wild card in the scenario is Wagner which are highly equipped with sophisticated weapons might join in the fight.
So ECOWAS should not destabilize the region in the name of restoration of Democracy in Niger. It not worth it because it's Western imposition which isn't ideal to our established systems. No blood should be shed in the name of Democracy.
Foreign Affairs / Re: Coup: ECOWAS To Deploy Military Force In Niger Republic by zeyt: 5:54am On Aug 18, 2023
They can't start this war Nigeria will pay the price physically and financially. Because we are the only ECOWAS member country ( ie calling for war) shares border with Niger. And Nigeria is assume to bear the large chunk of the cost of war. This is not taking into account the damage that will be wreaked to our cordial relationship with Niger.

Tunibu should not be goaded into war with Niger. He rather withdraw Nigeria membership from. ECOWAS. Democracy in sub Saharan Africa is not worth any Nigerian blood.

The team suspected that you tapped wire from inside the building before it comes out of the building. Simply put the team is suspicious of meter bypass in the premises which is serious offence under the company law.

Business / Re: FX Arbitrage Widens To ₦‎206/$1 Enabling Round-Tripping, CBN Vows Crack Down by zeyt: 1:09pm On Aug 15, 2023
The best way is to allow average local users of forex have access to dollars in the purchases of oversea products even by 20 dollar per month. CBN through banks made dollar accessable only those going for schools overseas or for medical and leisure purpose. And illegally to bureu de change operators. This people need forex in thousands. While an average guy needs it's in hundreds.
Politics / Re: Niger Coup: ‘This Is Not Our War' – Orji Kalu Warns President Tinubu (Video) by zeyt: 8:36am On Aug 15, 2023
Very good advice to Tunibu. Imagine we are the only country sharing border with Niger among the ECOWAS members calling for the war.

Politics / Re: We Do Not Have The Intention To Increase Our PMS Pump Prices - NNPC by zeyt: 7:46am On Aug 15, 2023
This is probably a fake information. NNPC no longer axist with this name. Moreover it's the market situations that will determine the price as claimed by the Federal Government.
Foreign Affairs / Re: France, US back ECOWAS Resolutions on Niger Republic by zeyt: 9:24am On Aug 11, 2023
That is exactly what the west want us to doing: turn each other and one another apart. Tunibu has lost his sense of reasoning for choosing to go militarily against the junta. This so called Democracy he want ECOWAS to restored in Niger is not worth going to war against our close and friendly neighbor. This Democracy is not ideal to our lives here in sub Saharan Africa. It is Western imposition through threats of sanctions and embargo.
Ask your self a simple question: why the was hasn't imposed this Democracy to countries like China Saudi Arabia and others. They have there own system that best served to fulfill their aspirations. What is good of this democracy here in Nigeria. First it is very costly to run: It gulfed billions of dollars for elections alone. The national assembly ended with more than thirty percent of national cake. Secondly: Free and fair election is non existent in Nigeria. In short Democracy in sub Saharan Africa is best described as bastardized.
So Tunibu should not see this war as a holy war or a moral responsibility. Here doing it because of his ego.
Foreign Affairs / Re: Niger: Resolutions Of The Extraordinary Meeting Of ECOWAS by zeyt: 3:01am On Aug 11, 2023
Tunibu should not bring war to Nigeria. Democracy isn't an ideal system to Africans, even though am not against it. To me it's Western imposition that never fit our way of life. It's even dragging us backwards. Career Politicians are the only beneficials.
The ultimate goal is for peace to reign. Bouzoum or whoever ECOWAS want to restore does not deserve spillage of blood.
Tunibu is making a huge mistake in taking the decision for Military action against the junta. All the possible scenarios are very much undesirable. In the event of out break of war there will never be a winner.
Foreign Affairs / Re: Niger: Resolutions Of The Extraordinary Meeting Of ECOWAS by zeyt: 2:21am On Aug 11, 2023
Emma15678:

1. Are you comparing the Niger crisis with the Ukraine war? Nigeria would be backed by a coalition of more than 10 countries. I think you should volunteer and be in the front line of action with the deployed ECOWAS soldiers. Rather writing your comment here while relaxing at home.
2. I don't understand what you mean by Russia losing ground while Ukraine is gaining ground. Are you referring to an inch a day advance in Zaporozhye by Ukraine or the meter a day Russian advance in Kharkov? BTW, I don't know what made you think Putin is regretting Ukraine.
3. Are you suggesting ECOWAS should close her eyes to unconstitutional takeover of power?
4. It's important to note that Nigeria has no probs with Niger. Nigeria only has problems with the junta occupying Niamey.
Politics / Re: Tinubu’s Full Speech At 2nd ECOWAS Extraordinary Summit On Niger Crisis by zeyt: 3:14pm On Aug 10, 2023
As if Nigerian sovereignty defends on ECOWAS. Now Niger is occupied the fore of Tinubu's attention. As if Nigeria is free of it's own monumental problems.

Politics / Re: Tinubu Writes Senate, Seeks Military Intervention In Niger by zeyt: 3:27pm On Aug 04, 2023
Throwback:
ECOWAS must do all to ensure that Democracy is restored to Niger.
Democracy? Are sure it's democracy being practiced in the sub Saharan Africa. I believe it's a bastardized version of democracy.
Crime / Re: Bandits Kill A Man 10 Days After His Wedding In Sokoto by zeyt: 3:23pm On Aug 04, 2023
Yet the new government is yet to acknowledge the calamity of banditry bedeviling the North West. They are more concern with Niger coup then securing their own people with number one priority of any sane government.
Politics / Re: Transcript Of President Tinubu's Speech On The Current Economic Challenges by zeyt: 8:39pm On Jul 31, 2023
What are service are we benefiting from any government. There no security of lives and properties, the energy we pay for it , medical bills we pay for it, even drinking water we pay for it, school feels. In my opinion besides roads nothing is provided by the government.

Politics / Re: Akpabio Responds To Criticism Of "Let The Poor Breathe" Motion by zeyt: 11:52am On Jul 29, 2023
This hardship being experienced by most Nigerians are man made. Something must be wrong somewhere. If you can recall Nigeria is practicing mixed economy, now everything is mixed and at the same time capitalist who are now politicians kept exploiting the masses.
A good example Tunibu spent billions to get elected as president right from primaries. He didn't spent the good money for Nigeria or Nigerians. He is business man and I am pretty sure he will recover his spent money with interest before he leave office.

Amnesty for the bandits? This is rediclous!
This group must have hand in all their criminal activities. How many were murdered and raped by the bandits. How many were impoverished by them through displacement and ransom payment.

Army what are you waiting for? What you mean by free hand? Do you receive order from the governors or what? Enough of this deception. There is literally crime against humanity in some part of the North West. All the our leaders pretend as if nothing happens there to the extent that the masses suspect there are either scared or complicit.

Our ancestors almost wipe out the wildlife to extinction, but they can be forgiven for they didn't know the concept of conservation for posterity. But at this modern area it's backwardness.
