Business / Re: Gtbank, Zenith, Fidelity, Unity Bank Under Investigation For Data Breach: NDPC by zeyt: 9:55pm On Jun 29, 2023
The culprits here are most of the loan apps particularly Fairmoney. Before you can log in they will need your selfie first . Then they will need to access your SMS, contacts, calenders, emails, location and phone storage for a month before they can offer you a loan. Most people are desperate to get the money without really knowing what they doing. I told them that I won't let them access my phone storage even if they are giving the money for free.
They have access to your sensative data for month then offer you a loan of chicken shit money.

Crime / Re: Usman Buda: Photos From The Burial Of Butcher Killed By Mob In Sokoto by zeyt: 8:50pm On Jun 27, 2023
Many people don't understand the true teaching of Islam in a situation like this. Prophet never asked anyone to kill anybody for insulting him for He was very peaceful. Most the people that participated in this mob action misunderstood Islam in that regard.
There was what is called 'Jihad' ie fight for the cause of Islam. Many misconstrued this concept. Many thought it involve killing people in the name of Islam. But in a situation where it becomes necessary to shed blood most people nowadays are not clean enough to take part in it. It's similar to saying that : " let's he without a sin cast the first stone"

This amount to celebration of frevalous mediocrity.

It should be an ingenious invention of some sort; new trend or discovery etc.
Politics / Re: We're Ready For Business, Prepared To Welcome Investors - President Tinubu by zeyt: 10:47am On Jun 23, 2023
I think Tinubu should tackle insecurity first before expecting investors. There no way they can wholeheartedly invest where there no guarantee for security of lives and properties.
Citizens from rich countries are always warned to avoid certain part of this country for they risk being kidnapped. This is what happens everyday to ordinary Nigerians and government seem to not give a damn.
Politics / Re: Comparing Tinubu's First 21 Days To That Of Buhari In 2015 by zeyt: 11:54am On Jun 20, 2023
Buhari government was all quite in the first few months. He was busy blaming his predecessor. Unlike Tunibu government everything was moving fast.
Food / Re: Peak Milk Celebrates World Milk Day, Promotes Importance Of Complete Breakfasts by zeyt: 6:22am On Jun 20, 2023
Milk day ? I think Nigerians should be allowed to import milk and dairy products, instead of relying on six companies enjoying license to import milk and kept fleecing us dry with imported milk.
Politics / Re: Households Under Pressure As New Electricity Tariff Due July 1 by zeyt: 4:39pm On Jun 19, 2023
With NEPA the government bored 70 percent of cost power generation, transmission and distribution while the general public bored the 30 percent. Now the government has shed the responsibility of power supply in the name of privatisation. And it's proven majority of Nigerians could not settle their bills due very high poverty level and relatively high cost of electricity.
The reality now is the DISCOS has resorted to supplying the bear minimum of electricity that the masses can afford in order to cut losses. I believe this is how things will continue.
Business / Re: The Official List Of 43 Banned Items From Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market by zeyt: 2:45am On Jun 18, 2023
On Milk and dairy products you unfair gives six companies exclusive license to import milk and repacked it and resell it at unfairly high price to poor Nigerians.

There is no mention of insecurity even in his inaugural speech whatsoever. The feign ignorance of the how bandits makes life miserable in the rural North West.
They killed, raped and kidnapped thousands with no consequences. There in fact crime against humanity going on there.

We are in trouble again.

Food / Re: Three Crowns Milk Celebrates World Milk Day With Community Engagement by zeyt: 12:42pm On Jun 01, 2023
Sustainable dairy practice" what a rhetoric!
After all your are enjoying monopoly on milk import in Nigeria. I can't believe why Nigerians are banned to import milk or any dairy product on their own. But left with no choice to go for expensive milk not produced in Nigeria but imported.
If Nigerians are allowed to import milk on their on they will get more value. This cartel import milk very cheaply and resell to poor Nigerians very costly. This cartel comprises of six companies that are milking Nigerians dry.

Politics / Re: Northerners Imposed Educational Backwardness On Themselves Due To Religion –FG by zeyt: 11:05am On May 17, 2023
Truth be told it's not religion but culture. Hausa culture is interwoven with religion to the point you can not separate the two or tell them apart. Hausa man will reproduce a large number of children he can not handle if you ask him why he will tell you he is serving his religion and God will take care of them for him. But in reality it's Hausa culture in past that a man with more children gets more helping hand in his farm.
Women are discouraged by culture to pursue education. The more educated you are the less likely to get a husband. A man with a lot of children will send some to Almajiri School to get rid of their responsibility.
A Hausa will tell you family planning is a sin and an abomination yet he will reproduce and won't care for the children in terms of modern education.

We Nigerians excel on frivolities in the world arena. Few year ago a Nigerian man break Gienness World Record on longest sex marathon. Now a Nigerian woman is breaking a Gienness World Record on longest cooking marathon. I don't think is something worth celebrating by Nigerians.

Bad Nigerian. This is unpatriotic act. This little known celebrity believe he is above the law just like bad Nigerian politicians. We know Nigerian police are corrupt but this act is undeserving to the officer of the law. The Nigerian system is corrupt too. This police believe he might lose his job for standing to himself.

Politics / Re: TCN Reconnects Aba Power Electric, Kaduna & Kano DISCOs, Gives 60-Days Grace by zeyt: 11:30am On May 01, 2023
There is a lot of confusion in the Nigerian power sector. The NEPA was privated which later produced eleven DISCOS with 40 percent government stake.
The situation now is the masses could not afford to settle thier bills because of low income economic environment. Which in turn the DISCOS resorts to cutting energy supply to the masses to reduce lost in revenue generation. The reality is energy is no longer affordable to the majority because it's very costly to produce by the generation companies. The government avoid taking responsibility for the energy sector and then went for privatisation and the energy can not be afforded by the masses.

I remember my University days, we lived in prison like congested filty conditions. You queue to take shit and shower in the toilet. A room originally meant for four students were occupied by 18 to 20 students. There is nothing I missed about the University. That was 2009 to 2012. The conditions have improved nowadays.
