Religion / Re: Inside The Healing School Of Christ Embassy by ziyaun: 8:08pm On Jul 19, 2010
Joagbaje:

Omo araye can't be satisfied! If she had posted testimonies from Nigeria, they will say it's CEC arranged. They were paid, etc. I'm glad it's a foreign testimony. How much will you pay those thousand foreigners ! Besides , south African government don't take nonsense. We know what we went through holding a crusade. It's just like Uk . They have rules , demands , procedures , permits. Protocols that must be followed before you can have approval or permit.

Well healing school is going on presently in Lagos . Shey Mabel has already promised us some testimony.

i am not going to rant over the authenticity of chris's miracles o,but this talk about them been foreign and so are more authentic is just the dumbest thing even an  can say,it really bugs me to see my own ppl feeling inferior to whites.for your information benny hinn was performing all sorts of miracles in america and today its been proved he was arranging them all, please leave miracles to be told by people who experienced them, dont come here telling me one white kid in God knows where now poos normally so chris is holy ghost filled, lie na english word and there is a word for lie and fraud in every other language,no be nigerian invention

noble_gas1:

Still you are contradicting yourself. . .I suggest you go to the Turkish airlines office or call them to re-confirm what you are saying because being the slowpoke that you are, i only said, you do not require a Transit visa to transit at Istanbul. . . i never mentioned anyting about entering the TRNC . . and talking abt Travel, i didnt use it to ukraine or whateva, i used it from Muscat to Lagos.Mhen av been around.I guess u know what it means by being around, so dont even get me started on that!

guy u do need a transit visa thru ataturk if ur connecting flight is over the space of 24hrs.less than 24hrs no need for transit visa if u are flying turkish airlines. u should have added that so ppl dont get confused

i would say between 400-500usd a month depending on the city u are.moscow is relatively expensive cos its a mega city. but with 500usd a month u can survive properly. inbtw this figure am giving u is if u are going to live in a university hostel,if its a flat then the figure goes up at least another 200dollars.so depending on u.but basically at 500dollars a month u can get on well
Education / Re: Studying In Russia by ziyaun: 11:47pm On Jun 01, 2010
russian education is good but eastern europe has its own issues especially as regards foreign students o.no jobs for foreign students, loads upon loads of racists,u would meet them everywhere u can possibly think of and d environment is quite not wat u see on tv. so make sure u are ready for skool and ur pockets r doing good b4 heading for that visa

dude had 125naira
gave 50 at the first lady's house, had 75naira left.inside she doubled it to 150 and on leaving he gave another 50naira meaning on getting to the second lady's house he had 100naira. gave 50 to see second lady, left with 50,she doubled it to 100 and he gave another 50 at the exit so was left wiv 50naira. paid 50naira to see d third lady and was left wiv zero naira for her to double when he met her
Career / Re: 3rd Class Graduate, any Hope For Them In The Present Naija? by ziyaun: 4:04am On May 24, 2010
Gaggi:

Heheheh, Ubiaru the MTNN thief chief. I'm not quarelling, only saying your story is false. You're not a big shot at MTN, never have and probably never will. No doubt they is hope for a 3rd class graduate but u dont have to formulate a story to prove this.

How can u just 'recommend' a friend to your boss, 3rd class and no experience and he will employ her to replace u. Na family business?
Even if u're sleeping-with him it still won't work. I work in a multinational and know how they recruit their staff. You must go through HR screening, interviews etc.
How can he take a 3rd class with no experience to take over your duties, except maybe u were a messanger or a cleaner that needs no experience or qualifications.

U resigned from MTN and u write this as your signature : hi members.i am new and i will like 2 be informed abt all the vanacies. A top shot in MTN resigned and came to nairaland to look for vacancies,a top shot cannot even spell vacancies properly.  shocked grin

Even contract staff still have to go through rigorous processes to get a permanent position in MTN. So shut the F/up and admit u goofed.  grin
Prove us wrong and help the poster get a job in MTN too. madam big shot liar.  grin tongue

"hi members.i am new and i will like 2 be informed abt all the vanacies"
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaaaaa,,,,una no go kill person inside dis nairaland o,,,damn, dis na straight up comedy club

AjanleKoko:

^^ Got that right. Talk to people here.
The opportunities are there in Nigeria, but they're hidden. You have to literally dig them out.
One piece of advice I always give people is for them to first find a 'soft landing', a job that's reasonably okay, just so you can find your footing in Naija. Sometimes the job hunt is a whole lot easier when you're on ground.

yeah that kinda makes sense bruv, just get a soft landing and take it up from there.well i still have a year to get my ideas into place.maybe the whole power reform(if it ever happens) would make things a lot better for elect engrs
Career / Re: Electrical Engineering: Aspirants and Practitioners by ziyaun: 11:55am On May 16, 2010
AjanleKoko:

You see why he probably needs to start from scratch?

I think you should attempt to work abroad for a while after your Msc, rather than coming back immediately.
If you come back immediately, your option would be strictly limited to possibly the oil sector, as that's where you can get reasonable training and exposure to power applications.
Everywhere else (including the power sector itself) is neither here nor there. You need some kind of experience to be able to work in manufacturing or industry as a design, implementation, or operations/support person. You won't get too many opportunities as a fresher in Nigeria.

thx a lot for the info.very informative thread here u guys, kudos.

Politics / Re: Electricity Tariff Set To Rise by ziyaun: 11:11am On Mar 27, 2010
personally i dont think any price is too much for constant power, government cannot pay for everything just because some people are poor, nigeria's population is way too large for that kind of system.poor people should simply use less power and pay less bills thats it.PHCN provide steady and reliable power and charge as u may,who no fit afford turn of ur appliances simple
