Islam for Muslims / Re: Reminder: Purification After Sex (how To Perform Ghusl From Janaba) by zyoxo: 12:01pm On Jan 17, 2020
Rashduct4luv:
Question
What is the right way for tahara after Janabah. Do I have to wash my hair or just touch my hair with water just like Wudu.

Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger.

Ghusl Al-Janaabah (major ceremonial washing of the whole body after sexual intercourse) can be performed in two ways:
The first way is sufficient but not the better way. Here, the person has to pour water over his/her whole body including the roots of the hair and what is between the fingers and the like with the intention of purification from Janaabah (post sexual-intercourse impurity).

The second way is preferable as it fits what the Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) used to do as narrated by 'Aa'ishah and Maymoonah may Allaah be pleased with them and is found in Al-Bukhari and Muslims collections of Hadeeth. This Ghusl is as follows: First, the person washes his/her private parts and then makes Wudhoo' (ritual ablution) as is usually done before prayers; then he pours water on his/her head three times such that the water gets to the roots of the hair. After that, the person pours the water over his/her whole body and finally washes his/her feet.

Rubbing the hair is not sufficient in both ways, as the water has to reach the scalp.

Allaah Knows best.

In all honesty, i must say this initiative is really doing well.

we must not wait for the Government to solve problems of our every day life for us before we do something.. Water is life, so if we are to wait for their intervention to get a decent drinking water, it will Definitely be catastrophic.

please lets donate what we can to help this people out.

May we all be helped and favoured all the time.

This is so great!

if there are pockets of initiatives like this, i am confident the narratives of the rural youngsters would not be the same again.

God bless the brains behind this initiative and God bless Nigeria.

Na now you just know? After they've infiltrated everywhere.

The Yoruba moslems who are easy to fool are the ones that have tolerated and caused this. They too mumu. Sorry slaves.

After they've caused this shiiiit. Dem eyes too is now opening little by little. And the alhaji and alhajas in south west are not left out of herdsmen kidnappings and rapes.

When you tolerate terrorists under the stupidity of religion, you pay for it. That's what is happening now.

They are nothing but fanatics!

imagine! I'm not surprised because you are only parading your obvious hatred for them............

Do you know the implications for this people to carry out their threat?

Do you even think about what that would portend for a common man on the street?

Do you even think about the gross disadvantages of this?

So, for a group to exhort the government of the day to look into where the problem is looming should not be a subject of debate.... whoever says this does not matter.

Thanks MURIC

peace!

Education / Re: First Year Semester GPA Of 0.2, I Need A First Class. Am on Verge Of Giving Up. by zyoxo: 7:54am On Jun 25, 2018
lets face it. Having such GP at the beginning is a deal breaker for first class aspirant. Most first class graduates did not know they would even graduates with it at first. All they had was good orientations from high flyer academics just like someone rightly said before, they took all the information well, digested them, prepare well and they tried to give their very best. Listen ma, each and every one of those folks has one thing special... I remembered my friends. lemme list the qualities.
1. You have to be very big in taking notes and attending classes especially if your school examinations are E. Exams.
2. Ask questions.
3. you must be able to bend down your head and read.
4. if truly you want a first class result, dont be a digital citizen for now....use internet tools but social media? just once in a while especially not during the middle of the semester to the end.
5. Stay off your unserious friends.
6. Face your studies well and I will suggest you stay off businesses really but some folks can multi tasks but as for you, dont, I dont think you can.
7. Sleep early and use your Saturdays well by going to school to read......
8. If you are a heavy sleeper really. consider going for night classes. it will help.
9. Do your assignments well as if its your exams
and lastly,
. Be prayerful

P.S. I think she can still make it but i haven't done the calculation and having 204 as a utme score doesn't mean she is not a first class material bros. I scored 211 in 2010 and I graduated with 4.65/5.00 FUNAAB.......You can as well change your course if you are not numerically proficient.

Kindest Regards!
