Billyonaire:

Sorry to hear about the decision of your bank to fire more staff on the premise of reset target goals. If our banks can actually entice depositors with good interest rate, they would not have need to go on these recurring rat race.

One would have loved to really help but I realized bank traded treasury bills with my funds on 44 days tenure while giving little or nothing as interest and using COT charges to take back what ever interest they gave. They are offering 13% on over 500M pa for 90 days, but treasury bill at this moment guarantees at least 17% in 44 days of the 90 days and I am sure the bank wants to use the funds to trade TB which is the reason that want it fixed. I am sorry my brother, these trends get us all worried. You might wanna keep your mind in the non-banking sectors with time as banking job gives one no time for enterprise mindset.
I like ur analysis of the treasury bills thingy. I will like to know more about it as I am looking for a way to invest and make passive income while facing my full time job. Any help you can render me as a means of enlightenment regarding treasury bills and bonds will be recieved with utmost gratitude.

There is definitely going to be duplication of duties especially where there is 'egunje'. If not for the oportunity to exploit and defraud innocent road users most of them asking for vehicular ducuments will not do so.

muslims and Hausas marry their cousins...pls hw do we classify this? Is it a sin? Additionally, some nairalanders might be victims here oooo
Islam does not permit incest (Surah 4:23). The notherners, fulanis to be specific that practice it are not doing so based on religion but custom and tradition.
I wont consider any nairalander involved in incest to be a victim as most time it is based on mutual consent and not by force.

Printing of call up letters was supposed to start yesterday yet no info pertaining to that on nysc portal, not even an opology to douse the tension of expectant graduates. One would think that digitalizing the whole process should have allowed for a seamless registration and mobilization but thats is obviously not the case as no info was sent to students concerning thier mobilization status as promised and now no explanation for the delay in the availabilty of the call up letters. #Smh for nysc.

Quite a long letter but worth reading. It is a shame and disappointment that perons who the masses look up to, to understand thier pains and challenges, are the same persons that will turn a blind eye when the are in the position to put a smile on the face of the masses. If all he wrote in that letter is true, then its a a dissapointment that RMD is just like most Nigerian 'polithiefians' who will always siphon funds meant for the public.

Fashola may not be said to be lying considering the fact that lagos in 2013 contributed 384 billion naira to the federation account. Consider the difference between the contribution and the allocation and you will agree that the statement made by Fashola could be considered truth. Lagos does not need the federal government to survive.

There are more Yorubas/Nigerians in Kenya than there are Kenyans in Yoruba land/Nigeria.

You're saying Kenya supports greener pastures than Yorubaland/Nigeria.

Same goes for Cote d'ivoire.

Come out of your tribal/sentimental cave and think.

Yorubas are no better than any tribe on earth...certainly not Igbos.
There you go again my friend. Would you leave Nigeria for Kenya or cotedevoire if not for an opportunity of a better Living? Or would a sensible Nigerian go to Kenya to earn a meagre living if he has the opportunity of being a millionaire in Nigeria? The term 'greener pasture is subjective and not universal, meaning I might see the opportunity of making millions in Somalia wich is one of the poorest countries in the world, the opportunity is my greener pasture.
Your analogy of Nigerian /Kenya does not hold water except you want us to believe that the igbo man can have as much opportunity(Greener pasture) in his village as in Lagos or any other south Western state.

The bold is a compliment and testament to Igbos' industry.

Now did a Yoruba man offer money to buy a farmland in Igboland and the Igbo owner refuse him on ethnic grounds?

Or did the Yoruba man plant plantain and the Igbo man uproot it on ethnic grounds?

Are we to blame Igbos for Yoruba laziness?
No my friend, it is a testament of the benovalence of the yoruba man. The igbos cant get from thier land what the get in the yoruba mans land hence thier migration to these places. You may want to live in denial but the truth remains that man is always in search for greener pasture and it is obvious that the yoruba mans land supports greener pasture than the igbo mans land. Case closed!!!

Segun Adewole, Igbos do not live in yorubaland. Have you ever seen an Igbo man in muddy Osun forest?. Igbos go to lagos where oil money from eastern states like Imo, Abia, Rivers, Delta was used to develop. Igbos do not live in mud houses. They can't survive in your mud-built yorubaland.
Oya clap for yourself for such a sensible post. Go to the thick forest of Ise-ekiti bodering ekiti and Ondo state, you will find several over forty year old Ibo born and brought up there with some even having a cocoa and palm plantation of thier own. This Ise-ekiti story is replicated is several southwestern states. Am not a southwesterner but I will say that the yorubas are the most accomodating and peace loving set of Nigerians i have met so far. So long as you are hardworking you can stay in any part of the south west make money and acquire properties of your choice. I am not sure a yoruba man can have a plantation in Ibo land. My 1 cent.
