Re: Religious Riot In Bauchi Over Demolished Mosque by Nobody: 2:02pm On Dec 16, 2007
First and foremost, let us get this out of the way, I AM A CHRISTIAN who believes Muslims an Atheits, Agnostics (whether "good" or "bad"wink are going to Hell. Rigtheousness is not the same as being MORAL.

For any muslim take note that I have muslim relatives, as such I understand the ramifications of the Truth upon those relatives if they die as muslims.

Whether you believe it or not is irrelevant the truth is that, only one of the so called Religions is the TRUTH.

The Good News of Jesus Christ is the truth, Yes JESUS is THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE , If you want further truth that Buddism, Hinduism, Traditional Religios, Islam are all works of the Devil. Search the internet and seek the truth because you will find it. e.g. ISAAC versus ISHMEAL, e.g. ADAM & EVE versus MOHAMMED plus 4 WIVES, e.g. NO MARRIAGE in HEAVEN versus DEAD TERRORIST with VIRGINS in Muslims' "heaven" (actually HELL).
At times you begin to wonder whether or not the god of the muslims is a sex fanatic or not. Jesus himself said there is no marriage in heaven. Yet the so called muslims try and twist the truth that they believe in their own version of Jesus who they call ISSA.
Since as far as I know, The Devil has always been trying to duplicate what God has done, so as to try and deceive people to do wrong things , e.g. when the Isrealites after coming out from Egypt built an Idol, during the so called Christian "Military" Crusades. He tried to duplicate the Good News of Christ by deceiving the lost soul known as Mohammed that he was an angel of light who has brought a message from God to him. (Check the information from people like Walid Shoebat, Zac Anani, Ibrahim Abdallah). Do you now see why there are a lot of dogmas in Islam (e.g. 4 wives, Virgins, killing in the name of allah, referencing the name of an ordinary man called mohammed, violence against any one who rejects islam, violence against anyone who leaves islam "just like a cult group"wink. I can go on forever trying to prove to you Islam is a Demonic cult. However this mail is not for that.
Finally just remember that before now demonic cults like that of Baal existed (probably still exists) during the time of Elijah, they had powerful forces and convictions just like Muslims of today, they killed those who believe in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob then just as some Muslims do now. Remember it got to a stage that Elijah had to run out of fear.Yet the truth is that God is always the winner, God is always true and right, God is always love. So understand that during the end of days things would get worse rather than get better.

Back to the main topic , though I am also angry about all these attacks and killings, yet the truth is that that is exactly what the devil wants. The devil wants a Christian to lose every power, right and priviledge he has by making the Christian angry, sad, feeling vulnerable, feeling hopeless, feeling the need for revenge, so that we (Christians) would end up making a mistake, creating more problem by retaliating, hating muslims (instead of praying for them and preaching to them about what is true and what is not).

Therefore contrary to what my Flesh wants:

Concerning the destroying of the mosque in bauchi, Let me say that I condemn the act of destroying the "physical" Mosque (though I completely support destroying every principalities, powers and spiritual wickedness and "spiritual" mosques).

concerning other religious attacks of Muslims on Christians and attacks of Christians on Muslims, I strongly condemn all of them .

I also condemn the crimes and corruption committed by christians in the name of religion, anger, retaliation and other things.

We Christians should be "Peace and be Still" so that we would know that HE IS GOD.

"Ye shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free":

1. It is wrong for A MOSQUE to have been built in a "Government School" because the school is was not a muslim school in the first place.

2. It is demonic for someone to believe that killing a person would make one a holy person, instead it makes you as close to demons as possible.

3. It is wrong for the Christian Students to have allegedly destroyed the Mosque (because the battle is the Lord's, therefore we are not expected to take laws into our hands).

4. It is wrong for Christians to want to retaliate due to frustration and anger.

5. It is wrong for Christians to hate Muslims (understand that they are lost, even though they themselves don't know that they are lost)

Above all things please be at peace that God is in control. Let us understand that it is in the devil's interest if there is war, it is in the devil's interest if True Christians get angry with Muslims so much that they don't preach to them to get born again. The devil knows that violence will bring the dark cycle of retailiation, hence he will try everything to start it in the first place.

Even though we may suffer physical lose during these period let us as Christians know that the Outcome of the Battle as already being determined even before it started. Christians through Christ have already won every battle either with the Devil himself, muslims, islamist, moderates, atheits, agnostics buddist, hinduist etc
Some of them are fighting for control over the physical land (which will pass away, we are enduring for the Crown which would be giving us). The devil (through them) knows that he has but a little time hence he is going about trying to destroy as many souls as possible either through violence, false believe or war

Education without common sense is as good as no education.Religion of any kind is delusional, any body that takes it seriously apart from avenue for socializing, reaching out to the ignorants in form of motivation and filling up the empty gaps of life that you reach after you've attain your life goals and expections, should properly have his or her brain checked.
Our lack of reasoning as a people can be seen in ills of our world today, the basic human needs that every rational being on earth should have is what people pray and fast for, that is why when any thing threatens their religion, they go crazy because that is the fountain of life to them, instead of their brains, hands and legs that that same so-called god they call upon has given them to create and reproduce.
As you make your bed, so you lie lie on it,the only problem in africa today is lack of common sense, just think and work hard like even birds, ants, bees, then you see that things can be done without pastors and imans who are in most cases are as dumb as dumb can be.I wish majority of people know what the world think us,they think we are sub-humans and going by the way we live,it is true, adults having the iq of special needs children,it's just annoying.

its a shame! Nigerians are very predictable! when you know nothin bout a problem, u think u know every thing. i dont think any of u here have muslim friends cuz if u did u wuld have learnt dat the first thing bout friendship is to respect and try to understand each other.

I attended a federal government school and i have friends from every part of the country cutting across different religeons and tribes and i am a muslim. I feel slighted and abused by the comments i see here concerning muslims.

i wil only say one thing and that is when u dont kno anything about another person's religeon, is it a crime to ask questions?? just ask a muslim about his religeon when u meet one and am sure u wil start to realise u know nothing bout islam.

U criticise wat muslims did in bauchi but u ignore wat happens in other parts of the country.

Very biased statements by very ignorant people!!!

Honestly i have never met your kind but i knew dey existed.

Unbelievable!!! Truly shocking!!! i am actually glad i hav met a lot of christians who are 100% better than all of you here and will be proud to dissassociate them selves from the likes of you

@aligs
Many of us southerners, christians, and non-muslims know a lot about your religion more than may be comfortable for you to admit. Personally, I lived in Kano for many years, speak passable Hausa, and appreciate other people's religious point of view. However, that is not even the issue, the issue, sir, is that for too many times now, too many innocent Nigerians have lost their lives to unwanton religious destruction--- principipally championed by northern muslim youths or almajiris. As painful as the truth might hurt, it's important for us as a nation to address and monitor this issue very well. Denying it's existence, and complaining about not knowing your religious are not the issue.
Re: Religious Riot In Bauchi Over Demolished Mosque by aligs: 9:12am On Jul 27, 2009
to the so called "Naija King"

in every state of the federation, we have street touts who are always waiting for an opportunity to start a riot in order to gain some unhealthy profit. it is as a result of the corruption of govt, the lack of education and poverty existing in our lands thats the cause of this problems.

in lagos we have agberos, in kano (that u claim u spent some time in) they are called Kaura boys, in port harcourt am sure they have a name,  they exist in all parts of the country. ALso in every state we have responsible people, those who practice true religeon and are educated enough to know the value of life and understand its meaning.

the riots is not an issue of Islam or christianity, its an issue of the negligence and ignorant attitude of the govt towards its people. violence is the only way these touts can express their anger and frustration in the country

finally just to clear ur views a little muslim exist every where and are not restricted to the north, i come from auchi and therefore not from the north so i am not speaking on behalf of the north even though most of my  education took place in the north

so please dont come here and say things u obviously know nothing about and blame it on biased view or simply hatred on a particular religeon which is Islam. Chat me up and i wil give a history of every thing including the violence in the middle east and including the history of civilizations which existed or are presently existing

Just heard that yesterday while Christians were praising their God some fundamentalists attacked a police station at the Low cost federal housing estate in the Bauchi metropolis. A lot of people including a soldier lost their lives in the ensuing melee.

@aligs. What bias and hatred? Shit goes down and if it's mentioned as being morally wrong (which it is) you're anti-Islam?
What's your excuse for this?

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/africa/8169966.stm

Islamist militants have clashed with Nigerian police in two northern states leaving many dead, a day after at least 39 people were killed in other attacks.

Eyewitnesses told the BBC a gun battle had raged for hours in Potiskum, Yobe State and a police station set on fire.

A self-styled "Taliban" group which has staged previous attacks also fought with the security forces in Maiduguri, Borno State, killing at least 30.

A curfew has been imposed in Bauchi city after Sunday's violence.

Sharia law is in place across northern Nigeria but there is no history of al-Qaeda linked violence in the country.

Nigeria's 140 million people are split almost equally between Muslims and Christians and the two groups generally live peacefully side by side, despite occasional outbreaks of communal violence.

'Education is prohibited'

Militants chanting "God is great" attacked the Potiskum police station at about 0215 local time (0115 GMT) - the same time as the Taliban launched their raid in Maiduguri.

The police station and neighbouring buildings have been razed to the ground, eyewitnesses say.

Hundreds of people are reported to be fleeing central Maiduguri, the state capital.

The BBC's Bilkisu Babangida in Maiduguri says she has counted more than 30 dead bodies at one police building alone in Maiduguri.

Security is said to have been beefed up in Plateau State, to the south of Bauchi, where hundreds were killed in clashes between Muslims and Christians last year.

The security forces have confirmed Monday's attacks but have not released any casualty figures.

Medical sources have told the BBC that two police officers have been taken to hospital in Potiskum.

It is not clear if Monday's attacks are linked to the violence on Sunday, which was carried out by a different group.

However the BBC's Ahmed Idris in Abuja says both the Taliban and Boko Haram, the group in Bauchi, campaign against Western-style education.

Members of Boko Haram, which means "Education is prohibited", attacked a police station after some of their leaders were arrested.

Correspondents say the group is seen locally as a fringe group and has aroused suspicion for its recruitment of young men, and its belief that Western education, Western culture and science are sinful.

The Taliban came to prominence after attacking police stations in Borno State in 2004.

Fact is, these people are doing this shit in the name of Islam. They have an agenda. That makes them assholes that need to be stamped on. Doing so is not "anti-Islam". It's pure common-sense. I don't give a shit about Islam or Christianity but I do care about Nigeria being torn apart by extremists.

Re: Religious Riot In Bauchi Over Demolished Mosque by aligs: 11:22am On Jul 27, 2009
my friends,

All i will say is dis, who ever this people are they are not muslims, altho they seem to be fyting for some reason but not for islam. islam urges muslims to seek for knowledege and therefore education is very necessary, the fact is do not use dis incidents to attack the religion just like i cant say the 9ja deltans who r predominantly christian have an aggressive and violent nature cuz they are christians.

let me add this advice, dont use the actions of a minute number of the population to insult a religion which is the largest in africa

Nigeria, when shall we learn our lessons and get to know that Africans particularly,we had our native religions before invasion of European colonialists to African soil.Arabs with Turks and Europeans flooded Africa with all these two religions which is now causing hazards and slaughtries in our beloved country Nigeria the toothless bulldog.we should wake up,it doesnt matter Hausa,Ibo,Youruba, and revive our past forgotten native known religions, why should we kill ourselves because of something we dont know nothing about?the owners and founders of these religions never and now taking it serious,we are just ZOMBIES and follow follows, they always pay us to kill our brother, instead of coming together and find a solutions towards creating a stable governance with well-organised and functionable institutions which will benefits all the tribes,we are rather blind chasing the ghosts of violence.the Arabs and Europeans are making us laughing stocks, this is because we and for those who have never live abroad ie in thier mist will never know how we are being look at,sorry for majority of Africans particularly Nigerians who have not learned to know these two groups,ie Arabs and Europeans, these groups are full of double morals.I came to Europe since 1985,and still live with them,am not saying that am perfect,No,but its high time we have soul-searching and reality-check ourselves and ask,why are we being deceived?Nigeria,we still have very very long way to go,we havent started yet.
Re: Religious Riot In Bauchi Over Demolished Mosque by naijaking1: 7:40pm On Jul 28, 2009
Religious riots, meyham, wanton killing and rape by muslim youths in Bauchi, and most of the northern states have become as predictable as the seasons. Iam dismayed that some still seek to rationalize these barbaric actions. Also, I hate it when people "those people are not muslims", we know nothing could be further from the truth. They're attempting to enact the forceful conversion started by Othman Dan Fodio. If they killed themselves, stopped going for western education, nobody would give a damn; but they want to forcefully islamize the whole Nigeria.
Re: Religious Riot In Bauchi Over Demolished Mosque by Dede1(m): 4:24am On Jul 29, 2009
My thought level is getting restless from reading about education or lack thereof as pertaining to the recent sectarian riot in northern region of Nigeria. Why should any right thinking person attempts to rationalize the consistent odd behaviors by those dolts in northern region of Nigeria?

I request to be informed about the type of education that is being referred by some peeps on the forum. By Webster’s dictionary, “education is the process or art of imparting knowledge, skill and judgment”. Now, what type of education is the subject matter?

As much as I could comprehend, those hoodlums up north are well educated. At least, they could process a thought and form a judgment. Even if the twisted judgment is to embark on mayhem, burn churches, engage in a gun battles with security agents and rape infidels, I simply deduced that they are educated but chose be idiots.
