When a finding stated Nigerians were the happiest people in the world many doubted the finding and it upset many politically Minded Nigerians who are often in the habit of superimposing their own political agenda on everything. Such people worried naively that if such was the case Nigerians weren't going to fight for change.

The relevance of the finding to my mind to this post is to do with my observation on how Nigerians generally exists. For instance Nigerians don't look for the worst in others. You wont find a Nigerian with the type of mindset that would go to any nation in the world good or bad and secretly take negative photos in other to have a laugh. In fact Nigerians would generally hide the bad in other Nations and overrate the good. It is as if Nigerians are Glass-Half-Full people as opposed to Glass-Half-Empty people.

The important thing for Nigerians to bare in mind about this case is that the Yvonne Nelson character's intention is to cause the world to look negatively on the Nigerian Movie industry while conversely elevating the Ghana one. Engaging in lowbrow, market women arguments with Nairaland resident Mama-men Ghanians is to miss the point totally.

Might as well invite Yvonne Nelson to come and take more negative pictures, in fact send her some negative pictures, in the end, people like that and with that sneaky mindset always end badly.

It's almost as If Nigerians don't think they are black.....

It really baffles me when I hear Nigerians use the word black to insult their fellow black people. It is sad how some Nigerians think the white skin is better than the black skin, so to them the lighter your skin colour is, the closer you are to the Whiteman, and that makes you better looking than a darker skin Black. What an inferiority complex? No wonder 70% of Nigerians bleach and even apply the dangerous chemical on their tiny children. Using the word black to insult their fellow Black people is an insult to the black race and they should be ashamed of themselves.

I just love this part, and I think that's a good idea - a smear campaign of who she really is. In her bid to discredit Nigeria, she looked really stu.pid and viewed as a liar, WOW. Then again, I'm happy for my fuc.ked up country that a Ghanian angel came to and had a good time, YET stooped so low to act in a low production movie... Nice.

Just like someone said, the worst Nigerian is the best Ghanian...lol

You mock a nation, YET, you flew into that same nation, had a good time, and even accepted "under the table" movie role... how are they any different from their types I see here?

I was at the sheraton hotel in lagos some time ago, and I saw a british airways crew come into the hotel under heavy security. Initially I thought it was the clueless president of that banana republic arriving, only to find out they were escorting an airline crew!

Holy Jezuz H. Krist!! shocked Now, that surely is a measure of intense fvckism of Nigeria.

Naija retardz, things like that seems weird to civilized African countries like Ghana.

My sister, I hate lies and liar particularly those who have intention to destroy..

If it were before, I would have pushed some buttons, and Emirates will have an official statement of what the liar have posted about them. She did not know she was mocking Emirates and NOT Nigeria. Sending that pics to Emirates will force her to remove it and apologize to the company, she doesn't know that, but I guess all Ghanians are really foo.lish to think

She has right to her opinions so long she won't be forced to pay for it. There's always 'the other side' of a coin, why didn't she post pix of the bright side too? Why didn't she talk about how they put food on her table?

@Nigerians; no need for the hate and insults, when next she come to ur hood to act or for fun, teach her physical lessons/morals, no too much talk, pls. I'm sure if she ever come to my hood, she'll leave with bruises if the police rescue her, otherwise she won't even leave.

@Ghananians, well done! But can't any of u be objective? Can't you guys make any point without insults? Is that how all Ghananians behave?

@Seun and Mukina, do you guys enjoy the choice of words in such a thread like this? I understand stuffs like this might keep people online for hours which is cool for business, but think about the matured and honest ppl you'll put off, people who will feel insulted and stay out for weeks before coming back. Is the forum now meant for ppl with Juvenile delinquency? Insult-ridden youths?

All I hear from them is, "Nigerian banks this, Nigerian banks that..". Well of course, banking is the natural industry a crooked country that struck oil 50 years ago would specialize in. Come back and show me how many Nigerian pharmaceutical, biotech or Engineering companies or even school teachers are in Ghana and I might give a crap.

Even world powers today revolve around the world of Finance, so money, banking, finance is important because they give rise to other manufacturing. Well, how could you have know that capital resources (economics), is the MOST IMPORTANT of any economy.
