Resumed officially today. I and 12 pupils in primary 6 @ UPE Ogoda. Interesting anyway.

My last visit to the board was last week thursday and I was told to expect the posting on that friday or monday which happened to be today. But for now,the posting is yet to be published online. So let's just keep waiting till the monday is over.

If the names is not out today,i will advice all those affected to come to the board tomorrow;let's ask them what is delaying our posting or maybe they want to sideline us.

Just checked into an LNG house-boat heading to Bonny. Hoping to report at duty post 2mrw morning. Wish me safe journey!

I was in ube two hours ago i was told they are still working on those further verification we should check online between today and Wednesday.

The boat is like a furnished house, fully air-conditioned with toilet facilities.
...cushion chairs for each of the 40 passengers.

Pls is it wise for somebody to take a subject that is not his discipline? The VP academy in school where I was posted to, after telling her that I special on Government with double Honor awarded degree in the field of Library and information science / political science also HND and Diploma holder in public administration, but she try to fix me in Economics class, pls friends is it wise for somebody to take subject that he can not teach well base on qualification, your opinion is urgently needed.

Please don't go and venture into a subject that you don't have a vast knowledge about. Tell her you can't teach Economics because that's not your area of discipline.

I think she's trying to fix u to where the school has teacher-deficiency. Economics isn't too far from what u studied at HND level(Public Admin). If u are willing to do it, I don't see it as a herculian task, so far u are willing to study just a little more. All the best!


By the way, I'm still on the sea. I guess we're getting close to Bonny now. I hear it's about 2 hours sail!

@Raxxye, thanks, I also thought as much, not that I can not teach economics, even during my service year I taught mathematics for the whole of my service year here in Rivers state, but I believed that he that drives small car, can also drives big lorry but not as perfect as the master of the field, although I went there last week wed. still believe that something can be done, I was among the first that reported but I will start fully by tomorrow, from where am residing to where am posted to is #1100 going and coming back, but all I want is to teach what I love teaching and that which is in me and part of me.
