I left the university system a long time ago, so please educate me on what happens today...if a 200 level girl wants a new phone and clothes for the semester and her parents are not well off...what options are open to her (i'm not being sarcastic or asking a rhetoric question...i really want to know). If the girsl had alternatives maybe they wouldnt be shagging tom, dick and moshood. University girls that want a blackberry in the UK, will get a part-time job in a retail store, GAP etc and buy the phone in less than a week. Indeed, she can even get the phone free if she signs a contract with T-Mobile or whoever. Or are we saying only people from wealthy backgrounds should desire nice things? with the level of poverty here , where even graduates cant get decent jobs, what options have the rogue politicians left the university girls that want good things in Nigeria? sell pure water for 2 years and buy a phone?
