@brotimi, if u insist... 3 reasons y i thnk ur source is nt wel informed abt 100 ASPs... 1. A lot of money was spent on our CBT bc d contract was given to digital bridge institute. Now, if PSC needed 100 ASPs, al they needed 2 do was raise d cutoff mark. A lot of us wld be droppd nd abt 110 wld proceed 4 medicals. Ur source said 70 spots r already taken whch means PSC wasted money 4 nthn bc i'm sure d 70 pple didnt even write d exams. I dnt believe dat's possible. If PSC calld 450 candidates 4 medicals, they need more dan dat number. D 450 is only d merit list. 2. The medicals we attended was nt a competition but screening. It means dat as lng as u r fit wit no health conditions, u r good 2 go. If they needed 100 ASPs, d race was enuf 2 send most of us home. 3. Chairman's list arrived b4 d medicals. Now d man dat organised our race told us dat our journey towards joinin d NPF began wit d screenin. D chairman's list arrivd dat day bc, proper documentation was carried out on all of us. If dat screenin was just a hoax, dos pple wldnt hav attended dat screenin just as they didnt attend d exams. This is d fairest recruitment exercise i've ever seen. I askd sm1 2 check d status of thngs 4 me. He didnt gv me any date, bt he calld me nd askd me if i attended d screenin. Wen i said yes, he said i shld relax. Gentlemen nd Ejay (d only lady), my thumb hurts, bt d reason i tk time 2 write dis is i believe there is genuine hope 4 al of us. Evrybdy dat made it 2 dat screenin exercise. Let us nt be discouraged by wat we hear. Brotimi, i knw u thnk d recruitment exercise is corruptd. Bt u shld knw dat dis country is moving past dat level. Pple got jobs at INEC, NHIS, etc jst recently. These r pple like us who have nobdy in d corridors of power. God is nt mocked. He wil honor his word nd c us thru in d name of Jesus. D person talking abt chairmain's list, Did u urself c d list, Is it not d same insiders dat gav us unrealistic dates abt d list dat is still feedings wt dis 1 agn? I Contacted som1 in d chairman's office abt d position of tins, d person said he/she does not knw but wil find out. So not evry1 in psc rili knws wots happenin, many of them jst tell us wot dey feel nd understand, so dat dey wnt look uninformed abt d process nd also keep us away from presuring them 4 info. Pls let's remember dat d aim of dis forum is to encourage each other nd not bring discouragement. Evn if u hav such info, pls keep it to urself. I believe there is corruption in the system but for this particular recruitment the police/psc are interested in getting qualified candidates, its not possible to get 100% corrupt free recruitment in Nigeria now, but 4 sure a great amount of us will be selected. Nigeria: 700 Policemen Sacked Over Recruitment Scandal - IGP The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mr Mohammed Abubakar, has said that no fewer than 700 police officers were dismissed from the force due to recruitment scandals in 2012. Abubakar made this known when he answered questions from newsmen after a town hall meeting in Yola on Saturday. "Last year, about 700 police officers were dismissed from the service following their involvement in recruitment irregularities and other related offences." The IGP said the force had zero tolerance for corruption, hence any officer found wanting was dealt with. He said that a special unit was created to restore dignity and instill discipline among the officers. "In order to help the force to fish out bad eggs, this is my telephone number - 08109009000," Abubakar said. He said he was ready to answer any call or receive text message at any time for complaint, advice or support. He warned against the misuse of the number by feeding the force with false information. Great officers gudday i'm a reader of this thread though l may nt write often. u guys are tryg to update d hse, @ all, d list will be finally out soon so deree's no need for unnecessary sepaculation, now if u're lucky 2 ve a godfather & u enter into dis recruitment thru backyard dat's nt enough reason for u 2 discourage others. Thank God coz GEJ has signed the budget bill into law!! Secondly, the renovation is on goin and soon it will be completed beautifully! Thirdly our names will be out soon! I have a friend that put in for SSS senior office @ the SSS headquarters here in akure ts up to 10months now and they were called up yesterday for trainin!!! In bauchi...I really fealth for him coz he was so happy I really congratulated hima nd said to him dat' "u will celebrate with me too very soon", he has even lost all hope in that he has started goin for lectures,,, dats hw its used to be!!! Great ICT Officer, i was able to enter one of the Police ICT office today. Infact it is amazing. Our office is well equiped with air condition. The ICT project has come to stay in NPF, just for PSC to call us for training so that we can assume our duty in order to serve our father's land. I am very optimistic that before 15/3/2013, the PSC,will contact us. All things is working in our favour. IT IS WELL WITH US. (AMEN) |
