Seriously i was watching this yesterday and i couldn't believe how much the muslim community is attacking innocent bystanders over a simple internet movie. They need to learn how to take a joke. The movie industry have insulted Jew, Christian, Buddhist, Hinduism and even African traditional religion and none have gone of this deep end over it. For Godsake, they need to start practicing "Islam is a religion of peace" mantra. The world is becoming an Anti-Muslim world because of this sh1t. |

@Op, there's nothing massive about the security. I so wish the protests didn't happen in Nigeria. Hopefully, it wont go beyond JOS. Really,it is annoying seeing the disruptions and chaos in the Middle East as a result of the movie. But can I entirely blame these people? It sounds like the matter of a wife beater and his acoustic tongued wife. She knows the biggest strike she can give is via her tongue and he pays back by the beating. The two probably have the same effects on who's getting them(and not that I support either). My point is, everyone knows we Muslims get overly sensitive with the mention of anything/person we see as holy while the Muslims understand they cannot pay back in the same way as the others wouldn't get the same feel. So, they do what they think would give an equal strike(and that is not to say I support the violence). Any reprisal would find Muslims and Muslim nations paying dearly-an enough reason for me to fear! The producer of the movie is a 'nobody' and the protests are only making him relevant. I wish no one paid attention. But what's happening definitely goes beyond the movie.An average arab Muslim, who may not be patient enough to observe his prayers perfectly and would rather dress the 'English' way or see American movies would rise to the occasion when it is time for 'America' to pay for all the atrocities they committed. and it doesnt matter that they'r having a changing foreign policy-no one cares about that. They still kill our Muslim brothers in Afghanistan and they support Isreal against Palestine and are even planning against our 'shia' brothers in Iran. Muslims have this strong brotherhood ingrained.(note again, am only making an analysis). That is the psyche of a Muslim and don't tell me you want to change that. America would still have so much to pay for. The shifting of arms to the middle east during the Arab spring was a very wrong move IMO. VOting a Muslim party in Egypt goes to show the people would rather have an Islamic republic though. America's support to the people doesnt make them 'friends' Where this ends is not known yet But I fear that any reprisal would be deadly. I wish it never started and I hope our Northern brothers won't join in this. 2 Likes |

na2day!: this comment had the largest 'like' I have ever seen on NL. I haded my 'like' before commenting. The commentator seem to be making sense in some ways. Only that I don't know is intention. All this filming, fighting, killing and the likes that we are seeing here and there are not spontaneous. They are well thought out plan ... the producers of the film knew where this is going to take us to at the end. As a matter of fact, the film was not actually made to insult the Prophet or Islam and the Muslims like I kept on saying, it was actually meant and planned to cause all these disruption and killings we are witnessing so that some certain goals, objectives and gains can be made. Someone once asked me if that includes the killing of the American Ambassadors and the destruction of their business overseas? And my answer is 'YES'! Yes! And this is the reason: America will sacrifice anything and anybody to gaurantee his future; they can afford to destroy the WTC and blame it on Osama, Sadam and whoever just to get their fingers on the oil in the middle east. Don't under estimate Uncle Sam when it comes to 'sustainability' of its future generations. Unlike Nigeria that is busy fighting a previous war.
