what makes you think ararume would make a good governor? Do you know ararume at all?

I don't know him personally and I didn't say he will make a good Governor but he is one of the possible contenders having played a key role in Okorocha's 2015 victory.

Let us show the world how our only town in Imo state is going down the drain.

You never get tired child's play Mr Chinonso Dike. I must admit that this is the 1st picture you've posted that is Owerri. Flooding after heavy rains is normal hence it still doesn't change anything. The housing in the background proved it is Owerri.

The only place with this Onitsha outlook in Owerri is a tiny area around Douglas Road which is negligible. I however doubt this is Owerri as it looks everything Onitsha.
Re: Few Pics From Imo State by betteABIAState: 12:30pm On Mar 14, 2016
Lies, Onitsha has better housing pattern for all classes than Owerri. Owerri housing pattern is not different from Diobu in PH. Below are the 2 sides of Onitsha. Owerri does not look this decent more especially where the commoners live. Look at the 3 pictures below, Owerri does not have such fantastic outlook where you have decent low and high densities. The Diobu outlook of Owerri is something the government need to come and handle to give it something serene..

This is worrisome. Can you imagine the state of worldbank Owerri yesterday after the little rain. The roads are so terribly bad and this is supposed to be the most prominent place in our state capital.
Chino are you sure that picture is from world bank area of owerri? because world bank don't have okada riders and world bank area have wide spacious road with flowers on both sides.
That pix might be awka because it is the only capital city in the east with okada riders.

Abagworor is a disgrace. I don't mind him defending Rochas, but he should know when to talk and things to say.

He is truly a lie mohammed of nairaland!
They often think everyone but themselves are ediots that can swallow any lie, no matter how ridiculous.

Not necessarily about Mr Okorocha but Imo State and the truth. After all said and done we cannot deny how developed Owerri has come to be and is the destination of choice in the Southeast.

@chino or Astraworld.

So long as you continue to mention Okigwe and Orlu on this thread as part of Imo state, you must continue to remain a persona non grata here before many Imo state people who visit here,

as well as you remaining an enemy before the present government of Imo state.

No body knows from where you lift the ugly pictures you post as Owerri.

If you want to show Imo state and ugly pictures, you needed to visit Okigwe and Orlu.

There is no doubt that Owerri has improved vastly under Rochas.Even google earth will testify to that. There has been about 6 bridges or culverts over otamiri river.Linking new Owerri to old town. A ring road system is being developed around the city with flyovers to make commuting from one part of the city to another stress free. It appears a golf course is being developed around Otamiri river at Emmanuel Church road area and plans are on to link FUTO directly to Owerri-Aba express road.
Likewise, Just as Awka has vastly improved under Obiano and Enugu improved under Chime, we know these indisputable facts already.

The issue is that if a bad road is showed in Owerri, you should counter by posting the good roads to show that progress is being made, but not every place has been rehabilitated yet. Instead of trying silly lies to convince folks that the picture is Abakaliki , Oron or Onitsha. We all know how Owerri, Awka, Onitsha etc look like. We have lived there and know every nook and cranny. So stop trying to play us as fools. Change your method of defence from blatant lies to using counter pictures to make your point that progress is being made gradually.

The governor should use his wide business acumen to attract foreign investment from serious countries ready to build factories for palm oil produce, agriculture etc in the state
That is the best legacy he can leave behind, he can then lease a large chunk of land to the companies. This will create employment and also generate revenue as well as industrialize the state.
If he can do this, IMO people can give him a third term freely.

You and this your Orlu and Okigwe sef, i think astraworld knows that those places are none existent. If the gworo man like let him post one pix from 10 different directions it's his business because we know the true condition of Owerri.

Despite the fact that monies belonging to 26 LGAs are being used on one town but the town is still riddled with bad roads all through. Look at the another section of World bank estate, this is supposed to be the heart of the city and most important estate in town.

Lemme help you: apart from the six bridges and culvert built in old and new Owerri by our amiable governor Okorocha, he is also building six more bridges across Nworie River to link old Owerri to the New Third OWERRI CITY whose plans have been approved by our great governor.

Third Owerri City is planned to house many people expected to migrate to it from the now abandoned local government areas in the Imo north senatorial zone.

Four more flyovers are to be built by our accomplishing governor of Owerri, Rocha Okorocha between old Owerri and Third Owerri city to make life in Owerri smooth, easy.

Plans are on by this government to start Fourth Owerri city from Obinze to join with Ulakwo, and with four dual carriage ways to link every area in the Fourth Owerri City.

Fourth Owerri City is planned to house people from the now dwindling Ideato areas. The only govt presence in two Ideato areas is the Orlu to Akokwa road dualized by our great governor Okorocha, but sonetimes one can travel up to 5km on the road before one can pass another vehicle.

We are hoping that before our great governor Okorocha leaves office in another whooping number of three years, our FOUR OWERRI Cities together must be the cleanest city, and above all, four Owerri cities with the highest number of flyovers in the east of Nigeria.

With the other 24 lgas in Imo state given the back seat by our amiable governor Okorocha, the day he is going for another elective position, people in the Four Owerri Cities shall beat the hell out of the people from the other ignored 24 lgas to vote for Okorocha.

Lol!!!!
