@chino or Astraworld.

So long as you continue to mention Okigwe and Orlu on this thread as part of Imo state, you must continue to remain a persona non grata here before many Imo state people who visit here,

as well as you remaining an enemy before the present government of Imo state.

No body knows from where you lift the ugly pictures you post as Owerri.

If you want to show Imo state and ugly pictures, you needed to visit Okigwe and Orlu.
Nwannem Mandax. Ele ote Orlu di udah! Hope you guys are doing well.

There is no doubt that Owerri has improved vastly under Rochas.Even google earth will testify to that. There has been about 6 bridges or culverts over otamiri river.Linking new Owerri to old town. A ring road system is being developed around the city with flyovers to make commuting from one part of the city to another stress free. It appears a golf course is being developed around Otamiri river at Emmanuel Church road area and plans are on to link FUTO directly to Owerri-Aba express road.
Likewise, Just as Awka has vastly improved under Obiano and Enugu improved under Chime, we know these indisputable facts already.

The issue is that if a bad road is showed in Owerri, you should counter by posting the good roads to show that progress is being made, but not every place has been rehabilitated yet. Instead of trying silly lies to convince folks that the picture is Abakaliki , Oron or Onitsha. We all know how Owerri, Awka, Onitsha etc look like. We have lived there and know every nook and cranny. So stop trying to play us as fools. Change your method of defence from blatant lies to using counter pictures to make your point that progress is being made gradually.

You may not have heard of one rustic village area called Orlu. People in the area are negotiating with Anambra's Gov Obianor to be incorporated to Anambra state.

If plans work out, Gov. Obiano shall allow the local government councils in the area to use their federal allocations to pour asphalt on the roads scraped in the area - residents have been breathing dust since four years.

They will use the local government allocations to build drainage systems; these are the two most important problems hitting them bad.
.
As for government development infrastructure, they have resigned, and now waiting for the government after this one.

I don't get you. I have never been involved in what you just insinuated. This thread is not about trying to prove that Imo is Dubai but just to showcase progress being made and point out one or two neglected areas that need attention. Check the pictures and tell me if they are Owerri. Only that Umuguma Road is Owerri and I admitted. The rest are either Onitsha or Aba.

Talking about defence I can't waste my time on that as I am not a Government official. I just don't like misrepresentation of facts either from jealousy or bitterness from political defeat.

List of obvious lies people with common sense want us to waste our time on

1 That Imo State Government bought a tree with 600million which originated from Ihedioha and published by some media houses without verification.

2 That Imo Government was owing 11months salary. Imo is not a State you can owe like that

3 That Okorocha signed abortion law when it was a different issue signed by Achike Udenwa years before Okorocha became Governor.

4 That the 27 hospitals are for organ trading therefore people should reject them. That is funny.

5 That Okorocha is paying 2million Naira to every Imo indigene that converts to Islam

6 That Okorocha opened a gay club in Owerri.

7 That Okorocha abscounded because of EFCC

8 That there is no good road in Imo State

9 That Owerri is dirty. They take pictures on sanitation day to deceive themselves.

10 That there is no free education

11 That the hundreds of schools built by Okoricha do not exist.

12 That Okorocha is a Northerner

13 That Okorocha betrayed Igbos

14 That Okorocha killed Biafran agitators

15 That Okorocha is preventing Nnamdi Kanu from being released

None of these 15 accusations is real and we all know. Like I wrote earlier my interest is that I dislike falsehood and misrepresentation of facts.

Very disappointing:

So in 5 years all this Governor has done is build hotels, and homes for government officials.

He hasn't completed any new schools? A couple"under construction" pics.

What has he done in area of jobs?

What has he done for agriculture ?

Where are his new roads to ease congestion.?

Where are the health centres?

What has he done to clean environment and deal with refuse.

If it is true that all education is free, then that is a big plus for him.

He has overwhelmingly completed more than 400 schools. Thats a record only Amaechi of Rivers State surpasses.

Everything you wrote up there the Governor scores 80% but a lot of lies and blackmails is flying around based on equally false allegations created to prevent him from emerging President in future. He has never hidden that ambition. I am not in any way related to him nor do I belong to lower wrung of society he can help in any way but I like justice.

These your photos serve as a reminder to how Udenwa and Ohakim left things. I am being vindicated. Okorocha believed none of them was befitting and made a move to build a completely new IMSU but he was fought down and Orlu people refused to back him with full might. Here is a glimpse of IMSU now though not one of the best but far better than he met it in 2011. As for you Chino you can see the Law faculty is no longer what you've been recycling.

This is dumb, how can we tell where you pulled those useless pictures? Below are the recent pictures taken from IMSU, stop misinforming the people for goodness sake. I am an Imolite but I will always stand for the TRUTH!

I must admit that the only thing Rochas did was the school gate but the entire school is a total mess.

Take note that the first picture is the admin block of IMSU. What a shame!

Paid Propagandist.
All people ask Gov. Okorocha is use asphalt to cover the many roads his contractors scratched and poured sand on top in Orlu, and abandoned in the last four years. The dangers in breathing the dust all these years are obvious, perhaps not before a liar and mischievous fellow. The amount of curses Okorocha gets due to these dusty roads are enough to .. You and Okorocha must vhave believed that no body knows where Orlu is and no body knows these abandoned roads, Soon, you shall bring up picture of Ihioma road.

Anytime Okorocha covers those roads, no body in Orlu will care to ask him for anything again, or even come here to reply to developments in Okorocha's Owerri state.

Remember that Okorocha turned to become governor of Owerri after Owerri critics cornered him.
Remember these? They are all anti-Okorocha people from Owerri who used the media between 2012 to early 2014 to nearly push down Okorocha's govt.

Since Okorocha turned to becoming governor of Owerri they are no more writing.

Stop lying - even to your teeth.

Gov. Okorocha never truly intended to relocate IMSU to Ogboko. He just used the IMSU relocation as a ruse to acquire land in Ogboko for his private university.

No body could fight down a state government intent to relocate IMSU from Owerri, more so, when there are about four other universities and polytechnics in or nearest Owerri.

Even Okorocha's Deputy then who is from Owerri, as well as other prominent Owerri people were going round telling people reasons why IMSU needed to be relocated from Owerri to Ogboko. Suddenly, after acquiring the land and started building on them, news came that IMSU was no longer to be relocated.

One thing between you and Okorocha your Principal: you believe people are fools.

Meanwhile

http://themoment.com.ng/news/19-national/1222-rescue-mission-govt-to-reactivate-public-water-systems-in-orlu

Government of Imo state has concluded plans to ensure
that all the moribund water stations in Orlu Municipality
including the Owerri - Ebeiri Orlu Water Station and
Eluama Orlu Water Station function again at their peaks,
so that all Households dry taps can flow once more
with water in Orlu municipality and neighbouring
Communities.

These were the assurances from High Chief Dr. Rodney
Ajaelu, State Commissioner, Ministry of Public Utilities
and Public Safety while conducting 2 foreign Water
experts around the 2 sites of Water Stations at Owerre -
Ebeiri and Eluama Orlu, which the government plans to
negotiate with concessionaires to resuscitate.
Speaking to the Press at the sites of Owerre - Ebeiri
Orlu Water Station ad Eluama Orlu Water Station,
Tuesday 16th February, 2016, the Honourable
Commissioner, Ministry of Public Utilities and Public
Safety, High Chief Dr. Rodney Ajaelu expressed high
optimism that soonest, the mandate to him from
Governor Okorocha during his swearing-in as
Commissioner, to ensure that good water runs again in
all dry taps of households in Imo State in the shortest
possible time, will soon be realized. Dr. Ajaelu stressed
that water has already started running in Owerri
municipality, and its neighbouring Communities while
Orlu municipality and its neighbours will soon take their
turns immediately all the non- functional boreholes in
Owerre - Ebeiri Orlu and Eluama Orlu Water Stations are
re -activated and water reticulated into the reservoirs
by the foreign Water expatriates engaged to turn them
around. Dr. Ajaelu emphasized that if the Water stations
are brought back to life and the Ministry has funds to
run them he will be happy but where there is no funds
then they will be concessioned for proper management
and distribution of water to Imolites at reduced cost.
Commissioner Ajaelu stressed that it is the desire of
Governor Okorocha that all Imolites have access to
good drinking water from their taps soonest.
Dr. Ajaelu noted that Owerre Ebeiri Orlu Water station
has 4 non - functional bore holes, one broken down
Lister 500KVA gigantic generator, one 50,000 litres over
head water tank reservoir, non - functional pumping
machines with bad water pipes to be replaced. He said
Eluama Orlu Water Station has one functioning LISTER
500kVA generator, 2 Water boreholes with only one
functioning, 2 water tanks reservoirs of 100,000 litres
capacity each. On the entourage of the Commissioner
were the 2 foreign water expatriates that will handle the
water project; the Director of Water Resources
Department in the Ministry Mrs. Nnenna Nwaugo, the
Head of Department (HOD) Public Safety Chief Mishack
Iheagwu and other support staff.

Ex-governor Ohakim was promising us to start the Orlu regional SURFACE water supply Scheme until he lost office to Rochas Okorocha.

Orlu regional SURFACE water supply Scheme is the last of the five regional SURFACE water supply Schemes Imo state governments from late Mbakwe till Ohakim have pursued.

Udenwa and Ararume tried with the help of the federal government to complete the Okigwe regional SURFACE water supply Scheme, though yet to function. Owerri regional SURFACE water supply Scheme has since functioned.
These water projects in Okigwe and Owerri are modern systems to supply cities with pipe borne water, not water borehole.

Concessioning two old and rustic water boreholes in Orlu to supply water to a population of about 300,000 people? Long story!!

Any Imo state government willing
to provide genuine water supply system to Orlu shall start to build the Orlu regional SURFACE water supply project. IMSG designed the project to supply running water to nearly all the lgas in Orlu district.

Same way the water Schemes for Okigwe and Owerri were designed.
