Akby: Guys no cause for alarm... The mini register is just for them to know u've submitted that's all like a record or something. If u didn't no probs! A friend of mine didn't do it last year and got his admission just a minor protocol that varies from Jamb office to Jamb office. Yeah to all UI applicants, if the course u wanna study is not here then don't pick UI. List of accredited courses offered in UI goes thus

Which university accept second choice cos i dont know which one to choose o

pls. During my registration, under exam type i saw neco, neco&waec, waec and others but nabteb was not included den i choose 'others'. Also under qualification_ dere nce, nce double and nce primary but choose 'nce' becos i study elect/elect education. D above mentioned are my areas of confusion during registration. Pls I just finished my B.tech in Anatomy with cgp3.78.I want to study medicine in either OAU or UI through direct entry.the problem now is that av not gone for my NYSC program,so I dnt know if I'll be admitted into either of the schools.

danox: I agree with dafoly in toto.I had a practical experience wit UI last yr.I applied for direct entry into Medicine and Surgery with a 2.1(4:27/5.00) degree in Botany from OAU Ife and my O level is made up of 4 distinctions and 4 credits wit A1 in chem,phy and Maths but I was not admitted.There was no written nor oral test for DE applicants.The admission committee of UI sent me a mail falsely accusing me of not uploading my credentials at the recommended web page hence they could not see my application when collating the first batch list.I was then asked to send three other prefered courses which I could be considered for when they were collating the supplementary list.Having had a degree in Botany,I found the request very hilarious.I however responded telling them that it was Medicine I wanted.Of course I was eventually denied the admission for no just cause.The claim of the committee about my credentials is a very bogus one because I have my print outs from the website as evidence that I uploaded my credentials at the recommended web page.I am still contemplating on going for an MSc but the problem is that I do not like Botany at all.I have finished NYSC for quite sometime now yet i am just teaching in a private school wit a very meagre pay.I really need to upgrade.I am still passionate about Medicine but time does not seem to be on my side

So u cn say categorically dat UI accepts graduates of Botany into med/surg. Thru DE,because am in ur shoes,though i had 2.2 bt A1 in phy,chem n math,A3 in bio,geo,agric, n c5 in eng. I'm also interestd in medicine seriously,i've bn teachn n am tired of it. Pls respond.

hi evry1, plz am new on dis thread n i gat many enquiries 2 make. I dnt wana b a victim dis year again coz i tried all means 2 be admitd last year at UNN, U.I & UNIOSUN but 2 no suces. Am planing 2 make unilorin my first choice n am stil ruminatn on wich 2 make d 2nd choice. D glim z just abut my o'level and n.c.e result. I had 9pts in n.c.e n i combine 2 results 4 o'level wich z nt even satisfyng enough. Plz i nid 2 knw d direct entry requirement 4 UNILORIN. I studied english/yoruba but i wish 2 study eida of english language arts, linguistics or english education. I heard dat english language art wil require lyk 12pts coz it rada competetive.
