So u cn say categorically dat UI accepts graduates of Botany into med/surg. Thru DE,because am in ur shoes,though i had 2.2 bt A1 in phy,chem n math,A3 in bio,geo,agric, n c5 in eng. I'm also interestd in medicine seriously,i've bn teachn n am tired of it. Pls respond.

Any university will take botany, zoology, microbiology, physics, chemisty through direct entry for medicine. Esp if it is bsc and 2:1. I'm not sure UI can accept a 2:2. U know many ppl with high cgpa's are applying and mbbs is competitive. Unical, uniben are the two schools I'm certain can take 2:2. I've heard rumours that UNN can too. I'd advise that u think of putting a different school in place of ibadan. I'm a fellow 2:2...I'm applying to uniben I can't shout.

danox: I applied to UI last yr with 2:1 in Botany from OAU AND equally wit a good O level but was not admitted.The admission committee sent a mail to me dat I was not admitted cos I uploaded my credentials on a wrong web site.I was dumbstruck cos that was a capital lie

Habidab: @hanny228,you are right about what you said earlier,one have got to know one or two people overthere to make the admission reaction looks spontaneous,just to act like a Catalyst.But Almighty Allah(God) is my Survival and Catalyst.I know he will be there for me.
