Dunno why y'll r arguing over someone's personal experience that obviously as been generalized with all naija men! We're all r different individuals with different approaches to issues. I mean, i could prefer a ghanian over a naija lady simply because there better mothers n wives, or a senator's daughter instead of a pastors' because of easy access to contracts or better still a calabar lady over an ijebu cos of the former's sexual strength n the black soup!
So i think its rather a personal thing than a general issue. Consequently, it would be totally wrong to conclude that naija guys can 'cross the ocean' for white chics. Personally, i would prefer an african to a western lady cos she's real, not domicile, graceful, doesn't change colour, can take care of the home and of course, an excellent cook. However, most of our naija babes, especially lag n abj breeds prefer the western culture. What a shame!!!

I think you forgot one option.  THE RIGHT TO REMAIN SINGLE.  Most do not have to put up with none of 'em all!  As you can see, 99% on Nairalanders are single--never mind they all claim to me 18 years old! Thats not true - of a Nigerian man i s being considerate and helps out with stuff, then why should i take the piss.
I would appreciate everything he does for me.

With regards to flowers - i am not a flower person so am sure there are other ways of being romantic.
