Hello Guys, Please, i need your advice on an issue here. I have an MSc already (since 2009) from the UK but no job since then. I'm thinking of going for another MSc in a related course in Canada. I'll like to know what my chances of obtaining a canadian visa are like because I'm targeting PR over there. I've been in Nigeria since last year and all effort to get something even small have proved abortive. Also, age has caught up with me for graduate openings. Me don tire for this country o. Thanks for your assistance |

Help: The Application for a Temporary Resident Visa Made Outside of Canada [IMM 5257] form is only supported by Adobe Reader 8.1 or higher, and can be completed and saved on a computer. Completing the form electronically is easier and reduces the risk of errors that can slow down the application process. To ensure you submit all the pages of the form [IMM 5257] with your application package: Click on the “Validate” button at the top or bottom of the form. A fifth page with barcodes and a signature line will automatically be created. Print, sign and date the form. Place the barcode page (page 5 of 5) on the top of each individual package. Find out more about the barcode form. Printing Tips Print on white, bond-quality and non-glossy paper Use of a laser printer is recommended HOPE U VALIDATED THE FORM , AND HOPE U SUBMITTED THE BARCODE PAGE?? |

Re: Travelling To Canada by Nobody: 10:05pm On Oct 04, 2011 |
@ celle, If d school ddnt ask 4 it, den u dnt nid to write it, if u r conversant with internet u can do all d stuff ursef, but where a registered agent like maple comes into play is dt once u gv dem d required n genuine docs, u might be assured in d visa, d embassy don't go tru mch verifications on docs submitted by dem, but most ppl do it dem self here n ey got the visa, God is d most reliable agent, I hope my contributions have hlped a little, we shall gt there, Amen. |

@ monie, bros dont mind that security man, the man aggravate issues at times, I was at cdhc today he was just telling me stories, later he said I should give him money for bread etc, My advice is this; send them a mail explaining the situation, and that you do not intend withdrawing your application etc, when they give you a response take it to the gate, the security man has no choice than to go to them. I feel the security guys are somehow scared of approaching them for issues. |

Honestly, I'm not happy that my application is entering its 4th Month at anifowoshe crescent. I can't even convince myself what they've used 4 mnths to do anymore. Sigh - EpicWin. |

Re: Travelling To Canada by EpicWin: 12:22am On Oct 05, 2011 |
@iSo_savvy. Homie, I dey try hang oh. Like an overendowed horse or 1ton in a bra, I just dey hang. Its difficult to fashion out a plan B when documentation is being held up 4 so long. Anytime I get enough red eye and balls to shenk them and head back to deutscheland jeje, I'll get to their office only 4 someone inside to ask me to be patient and say something like, "if u where going to be denied, it would have been a while back". All na format oh! They can still deny anyone on top the time wasting! The official waiting time is now 4 - 6 months on their website. Peeps I know who submitted earlyt september 4 january resumption are being sent their applications back due to "no-time", hmm, it is well. who submitted earlyt september 4 january resumption are being sent their applications back due to "no-time", hmm, it is well. |

@EpicWin i dey feel u. I was in similar circumstances not too long ago. I was working while my application was being processed. During this period i secured admission for a masters degree in the UK and also got a job that was more closely related to my field of study than the one i was doing at that time. The pay was not so good, but with some experience in that field my prospects would be super down the road. When the VISA eventually came out, it was bitter sweet cos, while i desired to study in Canada i already had myself set up in Nigeria. When i told my new employers, they were quite excited, and said they were expecting me after after my studies(No mind those people o. instead of them to send me for training, them don see awuf! lol) I used photocopies for all applications. Some were coloured Also stay around those who will encourage you. some good friends and relatives really gingered me when i was down! So its now 4-6 months! na wa o. This guys dey do like say here na heaven. No one deserves to wait that long for student VISA, for what?? Anyways bro, keep the fire burning and keep trying other options. All the best!! |

@ monie, u r welcome. dont mind those security men at cdhc. They almost spoil my mood on that day. making me to use a courier service close to cdhc when i was already at their office. just so painful but you know, in the next couple of weeks we wont even remember we passed thru all this.
