I think the masses will vote for him.He should try make himself known to the masses too because they really are the majority and having more than half of them vote for him will be a big boost too.I believe their children will inform them of him and with God on his side he will win.Cant wait for him to be sworn in as our President come May 29th. |

Tony, I am still wondering if there is anything we can do to help Pat? I do my best by campaigning for him, I tell everyone I meet why I think they should vote him. We must all come together and act now. For those who do not think he stands a chance, please offer this site an alternative. I always have problem with people who think that one cannot succeed, but never offer a solution or an alternative. It is very simplistic to have an opinion about something, but extremely clever in my estimate to profess a solution. For those of us who live in Nigeria, we must take our destiny into our hands, Nigeria is truelly ripe for a change, and I would beg to disagree that the time in not now. For those who do not think that Pat is qualified enuff, please suggest whom amongst the crop is fit to wear the cap? please who? is it Atiku, who does not believe in the health system and has to run abroad at the slightest mosquito bite or Yar Adua, who almost lost it at the slightest suggestion of pressure. Please who. I might remind people on here that those that performed in the current administration are those who we consider intellectuals, not the said seasoned politicians, that were only interested in looting this great country to the ground. It is the likes of Pat that made the difference and I am convinced that when he gets in there, not if he gets in there, but when, he will make the change that every single Nigerians, including the skeptic here have been crying and craving for. God Bless Nigeria |

@mnkylg: Nice touch you have there. With barely 30 days to go, i must confess that I aint impressed with the way his campaign team are going about it. I see the kind of advert Bank PHP do on d TV and I wonder why such creativity have not been put into his Visual campaigns. In as much as I am certain he'll get good votes from d youths, he has to be VISIBLE to a larger extend. UTOMI campaign team, what is happening? |
Re: Pat Utomi For President In 2007? by monkeyleg: 1:48pm On Mar 16, 2007 |
Tony, we must push for Pat and Nigerians. The truth must be told, let us convince our family and friends that the time for change is now. We can never get a clearer indication than what is heppening now. Nigerian must wake up, and for those Skeptics, the writing is all over the WALL. SHINE YOUR EYE |
Re: Pat Utomi For President In 2007? by 9ja4eva: 7:59am On Mar 17, 2007 |
Yes you are right.Am impressed though that majority of Nigerians know its time for a change.Pat is sincere dts why hes nt bothering himself clamouring for votes like others. We the Youths can do our own part.Keep up d good work people. |

I hope the right thing will be done, If only Nigerians will come out and stand for their rights, things will be easier, but Alot of Nigerians,no send, d common man is struggling to feed his family and is hardly concerned abt wt'll happen in the next elections.lets just pray to God to elect and put the right person to lead and take Nigeria to the next level, cos as it is now, He is the only one that can intervene impartially. |

I don't know whether Pat Utomi is conducting his campaign in heaven; perhaps all the angels will descend upon our dear country and vote that day. The truth be told the political situation in our country is becoming very mysterious and we are all now spectators in the unfolding drama. |

he won't win the election on the internet, he needs to be on the ground campaigning country-wide, like yar'adua, buhari and atiku are doing. |
Re: Pat Utomi For President In 2007? by dblock(m): 5:03am On Mar 22, 2007 |
like yar'adua, buhari and atiku are doing. The corrupt ones always know how to campaign |
Re: Pat Utomi For President In 2007? by 9ja4eva: 8:58am On Mar 22, 2007 |

Re: Pat Utomi For President In 2007? by monkeyleg: 11:47am On Mar 22, 2007 |
There was an articke on the back page of yesterdays thisday. Someone was complaining that tho Pat was doing all the right things in term of campaign, that he was not getting the sort of press coverage he deserves. There is not doubt that the press has been bought over by those who have the cash. That is why foruma like this can be very useful. I strongly believe that money s hindering his campaign too, so for those of us who believe in what Pat stands for let us give him all the support we can ok. Please guys vote wisely and vote for change. God bless you all |
Re: Pat Utomi For President In 2007? by debosky(m): 10:21pm On Mar 22, 2007 |
the arrogant ones who dont take people seriously will not win I repeat - no campaign + no visibility = no support and no victory |
Re: Pat Utomi For President In 2007? by spoilt(f): 2:18am On Mar 23, 2007 |
It got me thinking if Nigerians will really vote for a technocrat/intellectual like this despite his vision.

@ topic i would vote for pat and most educated people would but i doubt that the masses would. they probably dont even know who he is!! they would be like pat who? |
Re: Pat Utomi For President In 2007? by dblock(m): 6:13am On Mar 23, 2007 |
Debosky, Last time I checked, automi was atually campaigning. He was in the Niger Delta too. The internet is only an extension of his campaign Lol |
Re: Pat Utomi For President In 2007? by monkeyleg: 9:50am On Mar 23, 2007 |
Debosky, If you had read my last post, you probably would not be saying this. Pat has been doing what he can, but there is proof that he is not being promoted by the media. Go and have a look at Wednesdays Thisday newspaper, back page. The man has been working very hard, and I will admit he has met a lot of challenges. I was with a lady this morning and we were discussing the Election and she said that Pat was at their church last weekend. I think that is good. Or you expecting to adopt the same kind of stratergy these other guys are doing? going around throwing money about and hiring people. The man is using the money his supporters have given him wisely. And by the way, I do not see how not being very visible = to Arrogance UP PAT. PAT FOR PRESIDENT |
Re: Pat Utomi For President In 2007? by debosky(m): 7:51pm On Mar 23, 2007 |
this is not about throwing money about - Obj and Yar'Adua are visiting every state capital to tell the people face to face what their plans are, that is not 'throwing money about', thats letting the masses (who carry the majority of votes) see who the candidate is and develop some face-recognition + party connection No one knows what ADC - Utomi's party's symbol is or what it stands for, but everyone knows AC is the broom, PDP umbrella, ANPP corn, basic things like these win votes, not going to a church of 300 or 400 people. all these 'elites' don't even go to vote most of the time so spending all your time convincing them is a waste - go to the mass electorate, those are the ones that will get you in office. Obj could be arrogant and assume because yar'adua is in PDP means he doesnt need to campaign. IF not being visible can be attributes to an elite-slanted campaign strategy, then it can be regarded as arrogance. elections are not won by eloquence and sweet talking, it is by inspiring the electorate and developing a following among the masses. |
Re: Pat Utomi For President In 2007? by 9ja4eva: 3:20am On Mar 24, 2007 |
Obj and Yar Adua are scard dts y dey go from one village to another preaching bad gospel.Mind u though Pat Utomi is d best amongs all and i know he will win.No be our money PDP dey use dey campaign round. Please we need a real person and that we have in Pat Utomi. Thanks |

Re: Pat Utomi For President In 2007? by dblock(m): 5:04am On Mar 24, 2007 |
^^^^^^Where are your stats? I'd rather die a horrible death than vote for Buhari or Yar Adua and have my country die a horrible death (I am not sitting in the comfort of my home posting this ignorantly) If you are offended by this post, I'll post my address, pay for your ticket, and you can do as you wish. |

Exactly cos dey r old and dnt mean well for real so wat we saying? |
Re: Pat Utomi For President In 2007? by Tonim(f): 5:17am On Mar 24, 2007 |
People, listen. Lets not fool ourselves. Utomi is a brilliant man, no doubt, but how can he be president without the Northern support ? The north is going to vote overwhelmingly for northern candidates next month, so he does not stand a chance to become Nigeria's next president. I am not God, but I can forsee the future on this one. |
Re: Pat Utomi For President In 2007? by 9ja4eva: 5:20am On Mar 24, 2007 |
They should vote for him cos his Deputy is a Northerner.God is in control. |
Re: Pat Utomi For President In 2007? by Tonim(f): 5:24am On Mar 24, 2007 |
There are 3 northern candidates for president - Buhari, Yar Adua and Atiku, and you think the northern voters will by pass them and vote for a northern vice president ? Especially considering the fact that we have had a president from the south for the past 8 years ? Sorry, but this is not happening. |
Re: Pat Utomi For President In 2007? by 9ja4eva: 5:27am On Mar 24, 2007 |
It will happen oh sorry.I understand but u never can tell. |
Re: Pat Utomi For President In 2007? by Tonim(f): 5:32am On Mar 24, 2007 |
Ok I have given my rationale why I don't think Utomi can become the next president. What is your rationale ? |
Re: Pat Utomi For President In 2007? by 9ja4eva: 5:42am On Mar 24, 2007 |
For him winning or not winning? |
Re: Pat Utomi For President In 2007? by Tonim(f): 5:44am On Mar 24, 2007 |
I meant I have given you my rationale for him not winning |
Re: Pat Utomi For President In 2007? by 9ja4eva: 5:51am On Mar 24, 2007 |
I think the problem he will have though is the masses cos no awareness. |
