Hello house, i was told that someone that is 36 yrs old will be difficult to be issued with canadian study permit as the canadians dont issue study permits to people more than 30 yrs old. how true is this,
waiting for your opinions.

thanks a lot for the good work...

Hello Oga Siga and Fhemmy.... How true can this be?

Kindly enlighten us on this.. at least for an applicant who will be going for a professional/Graduate Cert/Diploma program(1-2 years) after some years of graduation from Nigeria Institution (say 5-10yrs post graduation)

Thanks bros. His question almost dampened my spirit. I did my MBA 10 years ago -graduated in 2003! (With present Governor of Kaduna state).

No harm in trying. better late than never, and better still to try and fail than to fail to try. So the old papi's in the house..... abeg carry go!

If you read the thread closely, I believe you will find portions where your inquiries have been adequately dealt with. It's possible I guess but, you need to address why the person is sponsoring you while you have the time i.e at point of applying. You are running out of time so you need to act fast. Online application method is thus recommended.

@Galala123.. Bro,I don't seem to understand the online application process. I tried to start an application but it stopped here..:

Studying in Canada – Your personal checklist

Based on your answers, you may be eligible to come to Canada as a student.

Are you having difficulty downloading a form?

Step 1:

Print this page. You will need this information to apply.

Step 2:

Read the application guide. Application guides can be found at: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/index.asp

Step 3:

Determine where to send your application.

If you are applying in Canada, a list of offices can be found here:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/canada/vegreville.asp

If you are applying outside Canada, a list of offices can be found here:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/apply-where.asp

Step 4:

Gather these documents and complete the application forms:
Application Form(s)

Application for Study Permit Made Outside of Canada (IMM1294)

Supporting Documents

Family Information (IMM5645)
Proof of Means of Financial Support
Passport or travel document
Digital Photo
Letter of Acceptance
Evidence of Work Requirement in Study

Fee
Application Quantity Price (CAD) per unit Total (CAD)
Study Permit 1 $125 $125
Total Price (CAD) $125

All documents must be provided in either English or French. If you have a document in another language, please provide a copy of the document in the original language with an English or French translation.

Step 5:

Pay your application fees. Information on paying application fees can be found at: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/index.asp

Step 6:

Review your application. Make sure that all forms are completed and signed.

Step 7:

Submit your application. Send your application in a large envelope. Do not fold documents. For your personal records, you should photocopy all forms and documents that you send.

Send your application to the Canadian visa office or Visa Application Center (VAC) that serves your area. Find a Canadian visa office or Visa Application Center at: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/apply-where.asp

Fill on your computer and upload. You do not need to print it out.
Just download the form and fill it using your PDF reader.
Whr your are done click validate, save it on the computer.
Go to your cic account and upload it.

Please note you are not meant to print out any form. The system wouldn't even accept it if you try to upload it after printing it out and scanning it.

Read my reply nah! I just said you aren't meant to print out the forms. You would be asked for an electronic signature after you finish your entire application procedure. Just upload it.

The site has some instruction texts when you click the question marks beside the list of things to upload. Take time to read it. It gives instruction what to do at each aspect.
All online applicants are not meant to print out or sign any forms. After your application is complete, you would see a box for you to type in your name as electronic signature.

PLEAE NOTE: try to read all the information and every text you see displayed on the screen. They are very Important

I apologise if I sounded rude in my comment pattern.
