hi i am a graduate of soil science tech.(earth science)i want to study geophysics in canada for my msc.i graduated with a 2.1 and have looked up the skols i want to apply to.university of calgary and memorial university.

I have my TRV to Canada for vacation, I actually applied for the visa with the intention of travelling in May 2013, but I had to postpone my vacation to Mid/Late July 2013 due to tight work schedules, this was after I had gotten the visa. Can this change in travel dates make me have questions to answer at the port of entry? Also anyone has infos on the cheapest air fares to Toronto without going through the middle east route? Will appreciate comments please.

hayek: To report back to the House, I did my medical last week Saturday. Got medical call previous week Thursday. I submitted on May 2. I was not asked to pay for tuition nor boarding but did send along with my application the receipt for boarding deposit of $400 to secure a room, although I have been to Canada for more than 4 times in the past. However, as the waiting again begins, I dont know if I might be called for tuition payment and full boarding payment. I am self sponsor and if CDHC requests for payments I have the resources to pay same.

For those awaiting developments in their application, I pray that it would get to your turn.

They didn't ask for your waec result. Dont upload it. Only upload what you have been asked for not what everybody is sending. The questionnaire had already tailored and personalised the application to the requirements they need from you and you alone. If they don't ask for a document then they don't need it.

PLEASE ONLINE APPLICANTS. ONLY UPLOAD WHAT THEY ASK YOU FOR. Dnt try to upload what isn't requested from you before you complicate the matter for your self.

Wrong....the Visa officer does not care as long as the money is there to meet the required threshold. Moving money around in small little increments is a waste of time and just plain silly.

It was a long story...I first applied in Mid Feb.(Paper application), I got a rejection in early April with the reason that my purpose of stay was not clear whereas I chose tourism in the application.

I re-applied on-line towards mid April this time I wrote a cover note on my purpose of visit and what I will be doing during the vacation and in exactly 20 days I got a notification in my CIC account to go with my passport to the embassy. That was all....

As per the list of docs I scanned and submitted..it was a laundry list oooo.

Paystubs, past travel visas, entry/exit stamps, past vacation pictures, Land docs, pension statements, bank statements, hotel booking, flight booking, letter from office, my travel itinerary, previous introductory letters from my coy. to other embassies on my past trips, boarding passes for previous trips mostly to parts of Europe....that's all I can remember ooooo.

I was given a 6 Month visa. Wish you luck ooo!
