dkgetmuny:Baby cries...hahaha. Yea, I finally settled for Emirates. Paid N136,000 ($856). I also chose window seats for the first to Dubai (Boeing 777-300ER) and second flight to JFK (Airbus A380 800). I didn't see a seat selection option for the last flight to Baltimore. |

Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part4 by bigfrancis21: 12:39pm On May 24, 2013 |
ivory23456:No. I later paid at Access Bank. In addition to Citibank, you can pay at Access Bank or First bank. They made this arrangement because CitiBank is not located in all 36 states of the country. Just walk into any First Bank or Access Bank branch in your city and tell them you want to pay for an emirates flight. They'll process it for you and you'll receive your e-ticket by email. But note that you'll have to first book your flight online on http://fly4.emirates.com, print out the booking ticket and take it to the bank. The booking receipt will contain your reference number and ticket cost. |

Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part4 by imperiouxx(m): 4:17pm On May 24, 2013 |
fidelia.john: I've seen many that applied to just one school and got the visa their very first time, though this doesn't signify a zealous student. |
Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part4 by fideliajohn(f): 4:42pm On May 24, 2013 |
imperiouxx: Thank you so much, and again i only have a TOEFL score of 87 with no GRE. am I safe? |
Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part4 by bigfrancis21: 5:00pm On May 24, 2013 |
fidelia.john:Does the school require TOEFL? If yes and you got admission with the score, that's okay. If you took the TOEFL for embassy's sake that's still okay. You're good to go. But please and please, never mentioned that you applied to only one school during your interview. Rather, mention 3 or 4 and be ready to have a list of their names in mind. Most likely you'll be asked how many accepts and rejects you had, mention 2A and 1R or 3A and 1R depending on your imaginary total. From your imaginary list, 'select' the schools that you'll mention that admitted you, + WIU and the one that rejected you. The VOs have limited means of knowing whether its true or not. And they don't usually check. |
