The point is NO NIGERIAN was given a national award AFTER he/she was convicted of a criminal offence. So you are WRONG to state that national awards are given to criminals and ex convicts in Nigeria. If national awards are given to any persons LATER CONVICTED OF A CRIME, you cannot blame the Nigerian awards for that (same happens with ALL awards globally including Nobel).

I CHALLENGE YOU to show us ONE recipient of the Nigerian national merit awards who was a convicted criminal at the time of receipt of such awards.

If you cannot do so, then you must APOLOGIZE for insulting the awards.
