gbere is medicinal, as they say, just like agunmu.

but d thoughts of d mark it can leave should already discourage its use and whatever illness warranting it should be treated at a hospital.

As one with deep respect for my cultural heritage, I see absolutely no reason why the possibility of having tribal marks on my kids shouldn't be there. I really don't understand why some people here say 'over my dead body' as if it were some nasty crime or something. Tribal marks are cool if u don't over-do it. End of discussion!

I think why I was given was because Mum had a couple of still births before me, so she was talked into allowing them give me tribal mark for me to stay. You know we like to copy. Anyway as for me and my family it is capital NO to facial/tribal marks.
