In ma huz it depends,anybody can decide with majority carrying the day except if the oga on top is bent on a particular one.

Im fairly new in the marriage thingy so I consult him on some chioces. His reply is mainly ok, fine, but how are you preparing it? He knows I have at least five ways of preparing one dish. So he'll pick the one that soothes his palate for that day.

I grew up with my younger bro. Our daily problem was what to eat. In the end when time had gone we ll then settle for anything. Unless our mum come then she cook plenty soup to put in fridge and that will last us some days.
