We have former champion Justin Gatlin, another former champion, Asafa Powell, Tyson gay, Usain Bolt and his partner. It keeps getting tougher by the day.

But Naija has to seriously challenge the Americans and Jamaicans once again. In the early to mid 1990s, Nigerian athletes used to rub shoulders with athletes of those 2 nations. Jamaica wasn't really the top nation then; the US was the dominant force to reckon with, followed by Trinidad and Tobago (Ato Bolden)

Unlike Okagbare, Asumnu was born and bred in the US; the IAAF only approved her switch to Nigeria in 2012.

yeah, age is no longer on her side. As u said, she would be useful in the relays because she can run the 'bend' due to her 200m experience.

Other ones to watch are San Diego State University's Lauretta Ozoh, and Christy Udoh.
Damola Osayomi has almost fallen off the radar.
