That's not all. In 2010, the Nigerian women swept all the sprint events. They won the 100m, 200m, 4X100m and 4X400m relays!! Talk about dominance. It was Okagbare that won the 100m race.

ola_pluto: As much as naija athletics has dropped, it will still be hard for any African country to match naija's sprint records. Africa has had no notable sprinter since Soji Fasuba retired. The promising ones are Nigerians (Divine Oduduru, Seye Ogunlewe and so on). In the womens, Maurielle Ahoure and Ruddy Milama are all but pretenders. They are easily dusted by Nigerians. Ghanaians used to be close by, but they've fallen way behind us now. Their best athletes usually lose out to Nigeria's youth athletes in regional games.
Nigeria still has the best sprint relay quartet in Africa. Only that our men are now sissies.
