There are some truth on that statement. MNET AFRICA shows anything from Nigeria. The MD is Nigerian, then its given she will favour her country, be it employing Nigerians and commision shows that are Nigerian. Remember BBA season 1,2,3 were controlled by MNET itself and no nigerian won any 3 of them. Season 1 won by Zambian, Season 2 won by Tanzanian, and 3 by angolan, you can see it was spread, which means any person could win it regardless of the country they came from. I remember Uti being evicted in season 3 and he did some damages to property, glasses all over the lace, he was angry.

Then we never had BBA for 2 yrs, then MNET AFRICA took over after Biola lady was appointed to the MD ppost. Then KB was kicked as a presenter, IK, a nigerian was brought in. I think the theme was BBA Amplified or Revolution. It was made up of the previous bba housemates. Uti was also there, that's when Nigerians started wining year and year, kevin and then Karen. There is too much suspicion about the show to be honest. Some say the white guy from zimbabwe wining was compensation of Munya's lost. Remember it was announced 2 weeks before the Finale that there would be 2 winners. Then luclay lost, South African were adamant to kick the show out of SA, the boss lady got scared, then the next winner was South African.

The suspicion is there through out AFRICA, we cannot run away from it. The viewership has dropped so much hence they are bringing back BBSA or Big Brother Mzansi in january. Season 1,2,3 were very balanced, there was no taking sides, everything was about Africa not SA. The suspicion comes from there. People feel like they go there to add numbers. People choose not to watch, it used to be big. Mnet Africa just messed up, they should have balanced the show from the begining, to reflect and represent any country in Africa, but now everything is one sided.

Same thing happening with Supersport, guys from zambia, zimabwe are complaining about EPL analyses from Nigeria, they want to watch analyses that South africa watches. This all is in the name of gaining subscribers in Nigeria, but DStv is selling other African countries. SA is OK because they don't get to watch that.

I can bet my bottom dollar, there won't be BBA next year, watch the space. The thing is so expensive to run, they spend roughly $3m to $4m to produce, ENDEMOL SA smiling all the way to the bank. Few adverts, one sponsor, who might only give the price money, $300 000. The rest Mnet must pop out. VieWeraship has dropped, We shall see
