Good question. The reason why US goods take more time to land when compared to far distant China is because of:
i) Based on a seller's location, the distance to our office is very far to get the products. It takes 4-14 days to get products from all locations.
ii) China's fastest courier service charges lower than the fastest courier service in America. They charge as low as $3 for freight (for two days) but in the USA, you should be ready to pay as much as $10 and above; even $40.
iii) Asia is a big trade zone, hence it's easier to get private couriers. Unlike the US that's not a trade zone per se, commercial cargoes outnumber private couriers with as far as 100:1. Nevertheless, we are still in talks to get a private courier and soonest, we'll hear good news - in about 6 weeks.
