Re: War Against The Bookies (the Fellowship Of Advanced Punters) by jasper7(m): 6:11pm On Jun 25, 2013
I was thinking about a system that is only for pros.
Has anybody thought of using martingale on odds, instead of money?
The only problem with soma's system is that a lot of people cannot afford to stake up to $300 on a single game, no matter how sure it is. But check this out.
To make N1000
You stake N1000 on odds 2.00 win 1000. If you lose, you stake 1000 on odds 3.00. You win 2000- d first 1000 = 1000.
If you lose this one too, you have lost 2000 in total, so you stake 1200 on odds 3.5. If you win it yóu make 3000 minus your lost money, you still make 1000. It's as simple as that. A little change in odds and money, can give you a balance.

@jasper7: Nice suggestion.

I reMEMBer a time u said something about programmed matches (VFL) and how the software uses MANUAL PICK SELECTOR CONSOLE to limit the winning rate of successful punters. My question is, can martingale be used in VFL without having to trigger d software console that limits winning rates? I mean, does increasing ur stake in subsequent bets ACTIVATE the console?

The secret behind all those tins and the best way to beat it. Is to set a low target for yóurself. In the case of VFL since it works with time and resets itself every 1hr 30mins. It is difficult to trigger any of the consoles. What I do when I bet on VFL is if I need 5K for instance. I bet at 3 different times. I make 2k in the morning, come back in the afternoon and make anoda 2k and in the night before I sleep, I make anoda 2K. 5k for my babe recharge card or perfume or whatever don set be dat cheesy. What am I saying? Just make sure yòu don't bombard all your bets at once. Once you win once, allow that particular season to go. And maybe bet the next season. To stay off track.

Nice work and research. @albacete...............i think somadilia strategy is more feasible. Martingale on odds is more risky as the odds are increasing which makes u add more selection to get the odds.

Re: War Against The Bookies (the Fellowship Of Advanced Punters) by albacete(m): 10:45pm On Jun 25, 2013
This is martingale on both stake and odd

Odds to work with:
3.0 (three of such)
4.0 (two of such)
4.2 (one of such)

Get all the odds at once and keep, do not analyse the next bet after seeing the result of the previous bet so as not
to get emotional when making your analysis.

Prayer: Not to lose 6 straight bets (7, actually. will explain later)
ROI: 10% net profit
Account Start-Up: $95 or its multiples ($190, $285, $380,...)

@somadila: Allow me to borrow your format:

STAGES....... AMOUNT TO BET * ....ODDS .....TOTAL RETURNS.........PROFIT
1.........................$10...................3.00.............$30....................$20
2.........................$10...................3.00.............$30....................$10
3.........................$15...................3.00.............$45....................$10
4.........................$15...................4.00.............$60....................$10
5.........................$20...................4.00.............$80....................$10
6.........................$25...................4.20.............$105..................$10

We have stage 0 (starts with $10 also) which is invisible. It comes into play when we get our target of $10 in stage 1.

Now, if u are profitable in stage 1, u earn $20 but bear in mind your target is $10. That means u have an
extra $10.

Use the $10 extra to start afresh, from stage 0 now. We now have 7 stages (0-6). That means u will need to bet with $10
3 times instead of the previous 2. So when we stake 3 times on odds of 3.0 and win just 1, we break even.
What do we do when we break even? We continue to stake 3 times on odds of 3.0 until we lose all 3 bets or win at least
2 bets out of the 3.
If we lose all the 3 bets, we jump to stage 3 ($15 stake)

Did you notice something when we lose all 3 bets and jump to stage 3? It means we will need to lose another 4 straight bets in order to lose our bankroll, totaling 7 straight losses. It can hardly happen to punters that have done their homework thoroughly but if it dare happens, well we must have to answer the most unfortunate fellows in the world of football betting.

If we win 2 bets out of 3, we take our target profit ($10) and keep aside whatever extra ($20) that comes out. And start from where? stage 0.

The only disadvantage I see is that u may not get the profit you want on time, u might break even many times, BUT the profit will come when it is time.

Don't be frightened by odds of 4.0 or 4.2, it is just an addition of a mere 1.4 to the 3.0 u have been working with.
Think about the returns, too.

At the start of the european season, i think @albacete, @somadilia, @jasper, myself included.....and others with management strategy should all run their respective strategy......keeping records here for the whole of the european season. At the end of the day we would know which one to invest/improve much time, brain on for the subsequent season. JASPER should be the mod as the OP. What do you guys think?
