It would a lot. Africa is weak because Africa is divided. Imagine if we had a single military, ie combined all the African militaries into one single force. Within 5 years we'd be as strong as China. And within a decade, we would be at the very doorstep of the US militarily. The combined, integrated economies would produce a multi-trillion dollar economy virtually overnight, that would shake the world. We have the resources to finance all this. Unknown to many people actually, the AU has as one of its stated objectives, the eventual political unification of the continent, so it IS coming. It's just a question of when. Some member-states believe they need more time to develop their respective territories prior to unification etc etc.

I've been in a state of despair, and have pondered on the true meaning of JUSTICE. I remembered years ago when I first read my pledge "

I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

I'm yet to get over this verdict, how six women could not bring a guilty verdict against Zimmerman, had the roles being reveresed, TM would not have had a Manslaughter case, it would have been a second degree murder. Three weeks ago, SCOTUS struck down the most important constitutional rights of Americans - THE VRA which affects mostly blacks and week end this verdict happens.

Anyone who's blind to see that racism exist in America needs HELP. I've sadly concluded that same justice and America is fighting for oversees is same vile that Americans celebrating. If people are blind to see what's really going on, the turns of events - our Judicial system who's supposed to balance justice is in fact racist to the core, then the foundation for which America was built upon is eroded. It's only a matter of time before America's foundation collapses on itself.

The disgust of seeing white supremacist over such a verdict and calling him the N word and also joyous about the bullet that pierced TM heart is disheartening. I can't get over this but one thing is for sure - he escaped legal justice but street justice won't pass him by.
