Tunisia in talks with Kuwait for the purchase of the Kuwaiti F-18 Hornets.

The F-18 Hornets will likely be modernized in the United States before integrating the Tunisian Air Force
Kuwait has 40 F/A-18 Hornets, delivered after the Gulf war.
If the #Tunisian Air Force manages to acquire the KAF F-18s and upgrade it, it will solve the TAF urgent need for a main fighter in the short term at least.

First of let me congratulate Tunisia in acquiring the F-18s , I also do not want to appear to criticize Tunisia , however i do have an important question :
Why would Tunisia acquire an aging plane ( 20+ years ) that will almost immediately require upgrades/ modernization needs , it will also require almost certain Periodic Depot Maintenance due to its age . I understand the need to acquire such a US Asset but why not go for something more modern

The issue here is that if the NA can function the same way Barlow did, the BH would be history. But the top brass of the NA keep repeating the same mistakes and errors like in 2014 or 2015. The NA has what it takes to deal with this terrorist but mismanagement, pride to recognize failure and restrategize, and lack of a proper road map to tackle these mehem.
