The ones from Mexico like the Gulf cartel, sinaloa cartels, los zeta e.t.c are criminal syndicate and drug trafficking organizations, they are very deadly, more deadlier than those gangs, some are worth billions in dollars. they are not gangs, these mexican cartels are so brutal that when they go to war it makes the CNN news headline. El chapo guzman, leader of the sinaloa cartels is worth $1 billion. Sinaloa cartels make up to $3 billion yearly in revenue. |

jayon: Territory: Lagos, Nigeria What about the dreaded OMO-ONILEs (Land-grabbers, or whatever they are called)? They should make the list. Or are they not an organized criminal gang? They are even more deadly than Area Boys, if you ask me. Membership: Royal Fathers, community leaders, juju men, lawyers, politicians, street urchins, armed robbers, etc who claim to be indigenes i.e 'sons-of-the-soil'. Criminal activities: Selling, reselling ... reselling ... of parcel of lands (with or without permission of the owner) to unsuspecting buyers. Extortion of money from property owners before, during and after they erect structure on their parcel of land. Possibility of Murdering or maiming any uncooperative land/property owner or their agent(s). Number of members: 250,000 across South-West and some parts of South-South Nigeria(precisely Port-Harcourt, Benin and Warri). 1 Like |

berem: What's the difference between what i said and yours? Major difference, cos u r totally off-base 'Gbe' here doesn't mean carry. Its rather a combo of gba + ero, 'gba' means to collect, ( in the manner that one wud collect rainwater ) and ero literally means crown. Plus d 'A' at d beginin of the word doesn't mean 'we' as u said. In yoruba, the alfabet, 'A' or 'O' is used to represent 'one that #insert verb here#. So agbero is one dat collects passengers. Oluko is one dat teaches and so on |
