From the punch

The streets in Awka are getting busy as residents in the capital city are right now trooping out to celebrate the victory of the All Progressives Grand Alliance in the Anambra guber polls.

The business people are gradually opening up shops, thereby defying the curfew order that should end by 10pm.

Before now, the PDP was in early lead.

Anambra election: Counting is ongoing

Ozioma Ubabukoh, Awka

Counting is ongoing in most of the polling booths and from our correspondent’s observation, the Peoples Democratic Party is leading.

The PDP and All Progressives Grand Alliance dominate the ballot papers, while supporters of the All Progressives Congress are still in shock.

Ngige remains the best choice for this election..I remember how he transformed Anambra after Mbadinuju refused to make any meaningful impact(Teacher's salaries were not paid for months, roads were so horrible,no development in the state)

Ngige is responsible for 60 percent of the good roads within the state..He will transform Anambra and make her the best state in SE..

I worked for Willie Obiano at Fidelity Bank,he is sound but am not sure he will do better than Ngige..

Oga, u better concentrate on ur ppl and what is happening in ur State and leave d ppl's Governor-OWELLE ROCHAS OKOROCHA alone.
Bandit C.:

Please spare us the crap.Which potential good governor are you speaking about? Ngige?

You can predict a man's future by looking into his past. Ngige is a colossal failure. If after years of being both a governor and Rep. he cannot explicitly name what he has achieved for the people who voted him in, then he has absolutely nothing to offer the people now.

All the candidates in this election are worthless and the only reason you are supporting Ngige is because he is in a party that your corrupt ethnic leaders control. Once he loses, you all would forget him.

Until people stop being myopic and voting in useless career politicians like Rochas,Ngige, Buhari, Obi and so on, they would remain at a standstill.

A great man does not need to govern twice before he makes a lasting impact.
