...Even to recruit professors and Drs....Why are we so lame, are we not students...it takes lyk over 25 years to make a professor in the academic world...they dont recruit professors or Drs in d street, they grow in the university system...from bsc to msc to phd den associate den prof....u dont recruit profs or drs like regular interview.....But u see university students sayin " profs and lecteurers should horry b4 dey lose der work"...so lame....dey know dey cant lose der work. And lastly the universities are autonomous, FG dont sack lecteurers but it is the university dat sacks lecteures...So u see d point dey cant be sacked....And unis have alwayz be advertizing recruitment ever since, so why is this special...and recruitment are mostly for graduate assistants, lecteurer 1&2 and assistant lecteurers...

My dear,anybody can be sacked!!
And why do u say it takes 25yrs for anybody to be a Professor in the world? Dont make such unresearched statement in a public forum again! It is only in Nigeria that it happens!!
Remember, there was a time when there were not this professors, but they grew into it! If they did,so can others too! Rome was not built in a day! After all, they will die and other Professors will arise!

They can be sacked!! Whatever projects they are handling will be taken from them{its not their's na} and given to the incoming recruitee! The only thing is,it will take a little time! Just a little time!!
But it can be avoided if they wil just swallow their pride and report to Work!! They should not be decieved, jobs aint easy to find these days!! Remember,If the whole professors should be sacked for instance, thats a huge Wage relief on Gov't!! If u knw what ah mean!

If they are not afraid that they will not be sacked, why register their names?
Thats a cowardice act!! Which is why you should bear it in mind that anybody can be Sacked!! Recruitment will only take a while, but it will be done and everything goes on!!
What am not sure is if FG will be mean and serious with the ultimatum...If they are,Sacking things come Wednesday!
